Had a recent stay for 3 nights and found it really enjoyable. After a little confusion with parking the car due to street it is located on being a bus thoroughfare, valet parking was prompt and we found we didn't need to get car out again. Great location in the centre of town and easy walking to everything Hobart has to offer. Rooms were very clean, although a little small, bathroom was a generous size although water did flood floor when showering. Did have to order another pillow as ones in room were rock hard. Breakfast was very yummy and buffet option that was offered had more than enough to satisfy. Gym was small with just enough equipment to do a workout. The Chocolate Hour was a bit of a letdown, not what we expected, but still another point of difference. All in all, a really nice stay and we'll certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Molto buon hotel in termini di posizione, servizio e il personale amichevole. La stanza è molto pulita. È consigliato anche il servizio di parcheggio valet. Ci ritroveremo sicuramente quando arriveremo a Hobart la prossima volta. Il colazione è anche molto bello. Molto raccomandato

Abbiamo alloggiato 3 notti in questo elegante hotel dal fascino coloniale e siamo stati davvero bene. La camera pulita e confortevole aveva l'affaccio su un atrio interno dove c’erano i tavoli per i pasti. La colazione era buona, forse mi aspettavo un pizzico di scelta in più ma eravamo in bassa stagione. Di fronte la reception c’è il fornito Orient bar per provare cocktail, whiskey, etc. e mangiare qualcosa fino a sera; l’hotel ha anche un ristorante che però non ho provato. La posizione infine è ottima per girare la città e dintorni. C’è un parcheggio riservato ai clienti che avevamo richiesto in fase di prenotazione: si trova al multipiano di fronte l’hotel e al check-in viene data una tessera da restituire poi alla partenza.

Dopo tre notti, andare al mercato può raggiungere la distanza a piedi, andare al centro commerciale può anche andare a piedi per dieci minuti!Molto conveniente!L'atteggiamento del personale dell'hotel è super buono, sia la reception che il Bellboy o il mantenimento della casa, sono molto buoni!

This hotel met all our needs for the 3 night trip to Hobart. I would stay here again. It's centrally located to many things in town. The staff we met were all extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. Bathroom is small, but its not like its a place where we spent a lot of time so it gets the job done. My two suggestions would be to add a shelf in the bathroom where one could place their stuff and add an overhead light so you could turn on the light when you came in the room. If you're a modest traveler who doesn't need a lot of frills or ton of space but looking for a clean and cozy place to spend the night, you'll like it just fine!

We had a weekend in Hobart, to visit friends and to do some of the main sights. We had a great stay at the vibe, in a corner room with a view. The room was spacious, clean and the service we received from start to finish was excellent. Very good value overall.

Little bit dated. Booked through Qantas Hotels and somehow was upgraded. ( No requested room available? do not know.) Water shower deluge head is great. Plenty of towels washers etc. The body wash and shampoo bottles are squeeze to actuate, sounds simple doesn't it? Mattress very comfy. Pillow a little firm for me but I did have the choice of 5! You get a kettle and that's it. Fridge opens one way, cupboard door opens opposite way. Not user friendly. Mis mash of cups. No knife or fork. Had to book for a couple of nights the next week but was an extra 50 an night. Thought that was a bit unnecessary for a returning client booking the same room. We had two windy nights and the sliding door widows rattling was enough to keep you awake. Need to be wedged. Location to town. Excellent, walking distance.

The Tasman is a great hotel to stay if you want to be near the waterfront
During our stay, we happened to chance upon the Dark Mofo Winter Feast and also had the chance to go to the nearby Salamanca Market which was just behind the hotel
Owen the hotel receptionist was very welcoming and attentive
The room was spacious with adequate amenities provided. One downside to mention was that the water pressure was rather weak and having to shower for a long time due to the weak shower made the experience not as pleasant. Would be wonderful if there was a bath tub too!

Abbiamo fatto un giro a macq01 prima che arrivasse il nostro secondo bambino. Non avevo detto al personale che, però, hanno notato che ero incinta e che ho consegnato una scatola regalo piena di sali da bagno, ecc. e qualche cioccolato alla nostra stanza. Le camere sono sempre belle e ci piace stare al macq01! Ci siamo trasferiti più volte. Molto consigliato.

The room was clean, although showed signs of wear, age and perhaps some ‘abuse’. The bed was comfortable, the TV and aircon worked and the shower was good. Minimal otherwise. Furniture old and not in great repair, but okay. Tea/coffee UHT milk and a couple of mugs. No spoons etc. Location very good being no more than around 15 minute walk to anywhere in Hobart CBD. Very noisy due to being on a main road. Rooms on 2nd and 3rd floors and only reached by stairs. Reception open from 2.00 …. for a while. All locked up and only guests in the building at night. Publicity photos are very kind to the reality. But, definitely budget and generally 2.0 to 2.5 star and I had more to spend on the tourist stuff.

YYuanGood location. Close to both CBD and Sandy Bay. The kitchenette is very convenient. There was an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans and knives and forks, but no chopsticks. Free internet. Front desk closes at 9 pm, but you can enter and exit multiple doors at anytime with your room card. Free parking space. Luggage storage is available. Let us check in at 12 noon. For sleeping, there is a powerful air conditioner, but only two thin blankets and the mattress is too soft. A$6 for continental breakfast, but you have to fill out a form to order. A$6 for both washing machine or dryer. Free laundry powder or liquid. Wellington Mountain and a corner view of the ocean from your room!

RRelax39281755835The Bay Apartments are a good value but simple place to stay in Hobart. We stayed here for 1 night this week, in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean but small. It had an overpowering smell of cleaning products when we arrived but this dispersed during our stay. The bathroom is a traditional shower-over-bath, and there is a small living area and flat screen TV. There is a small cooktop and sink, and a bar fridge. The apartments are a short walk to a large range of restaurants, a Woolworths and a Cole. There is also a pub (almost) next door. It is a short drive to Hobart CBD and there are public buses out the front. We were apprehensive at first as it was quite noisy (noise from other guests and from the road), but this didn’t affect our sleep quality. There is parking outside the unit and one reverse cycle aircon unit in the living area. Don’t expect a fancy property- this is a basic but well presented unit at an affordable price point, not a $300/nt property. If you set your expectations correctly this is a very good property. The stairways to the upstairs appartments are very narrow and it is difficult to carry large cases up and down. I’d stay here again if looking for a basic stay in Hobart, but probably not for multiple nights.

UUtente ospiteÈ stato un soggiorno fantastico. Il tempo ci ha lasciato un po' meno, anche se non poteva essere risolto anche dall'eccellente servizio clienti. Il personale era così attento e piacevole. Le strutture erano eccellenti per il nostro soggiorno di 3 giorni con un letto a rotelle, perché ci servivano due zone di dormire separate. Le strutture cucina erano eccellenti per le nostre esigenze. La vista era molto buona sul fiume Derwent. La camera da letto era eccellente e la lavatrice e asciugatrice erano molto apprezzate. La posizione era fantastica con tutti i siti a piedi. Non può essere consigliata abbastanza.

UUtente ospiteGreat base for our 2 night Hobart stay. A little out of the city centre and up quite a steep hill, I'm not sure it's location would suit those without a car, but if you have one it's an ideal spot. The whole property looked well maintained including the pool and games room (although we didn't have time to use either). Our 3 bedroom villa (no. 12) had a fantastic view out over the city and river and easy parking in front. It was very spacious, clean, modern and comfortable with two bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs) and a compact but perfectly adequate kitchen. I would have given five stars but we were there during a heat wave and although the air conditioning worked really well downstairs, there is none upstairs and it was very hot by the end of the day making it difficult to sleep. Unfortunately there are no flyscreens on the windows either, so we didn't feel comfortable opening them. Aside from this though a great spot for spacious self contained accommodation.

We were due to stay at another hotel but were moved here, which was no hardship. Spacious comfy one bed apartment, starting our first few nights in Tassie off to a great start. Well equipped kitchen (but for shorties like me, the microwave was too high!) comfy lounge and bed - much appreciated after all the travelling to get there. Close to the harbour, eateries, 10-12 mins walk to the shopping centre - it’s in a great location. Apart from that wicked little hill as you walk back up to the apartment block from a long day out, couldn’t fault it!

Aasheri292574Quest Trinity is in a great, convenient location close to the CBD although noise from helicopters attending the Royal Hobart hospital can, at times, be a little intrusive. Beds were comfortable and apartment was well equipped and had everything needed to make your holiday feel like home.

SSumareeL'hotel è situato nel centro di Hobart, dove posso esplorarlo camminando, avere parcheggio auto, molte opzioni di ristorante. La mia stanza ha una cucina molto grande, abbiamo cucinato il nostro pranzo. Il personale è molto amichevole e molto utile.

We booked the restaurant for a special dinner celebration in May. We were not hotel guests. When I called to book a table, the person who answered the phone was unsure as she had to speak to the chef and she was going to call me back. She did not call me back. So I called again the next day and got a confirmation of a table. When we went to the restaurant, it was so cold we had to keep our coats on the whole time. There was no one in the restaurant. The appetiser and dessert were excellent but the main was below par. After appetiser, the waitress who was the receptionist, just dropped 2 sets of cutlery for the next course on our table.I felt like we were at a cheap dining place. Service was poor. I’m sure the rooms are excellent.
