Hotel vicini a Debeli Rtič/Punta Grossa Arboretum a Ankaran

We were visiting the Slovenian Coast for 5 Nights as a couple with a dog. We opted for a hotel in a more quiet location compared with portoroz - Izola etc.... What a great choice! Firstly, the hotel is beautiful renovated and looks like a new place. All is well and feels new - from the Restaurant, Lobby and the Rooms! (and awesome Salt chambers..) We chose a double room with balcony, which in those hot days were great for the early mornings or later evenings! (plus a big help in drying beach towels and clothes!) The room was nice, safe and mini bar fridge all available. Good shower - and for outdoor 38 degrees heat a perfectly working Air Con!! That's a real bonus! The Food (Breakfast was an enough wide selection) and the Dinner (mixed à la carte & sushi) must be stated was amazingly nice cooked, real top quality chef! if you like to dine out or eat in the evenings out just a 10-minute walk is the Ancaran Townsquare with a handful of nice Bars, Italian, Local Speciality Restaurant and so on. ＞All one needs! But the best ist still straight down from the hotel, the small bar on the beach! - So! - most over all I like to mention the feeling being a few days away from home in this place made us really relaxed and the best of the hotel is the people who work there!! - from the welcome reception team to the bar & restaurant staff and the housekeepers - all were at every time friendly and engaged! Overall, the Owner or Manager of this Hotel should be happy to have exactly this team working there now! They are awesome people with a good sense of hospitality! I would try to keep them! From the hotel you can walk in 3-5 minutes to a nice calm, quiet beach with another nice Restaurant and Bar (directly overlooking the Bay of Ancaran, Koper and so on) which was a lovely scenery!). The water was crystal clean and perfect temperature, and each time coming back to the hotel felt simply nice. Having travelled over 100s of times and stayed in 2-5 star hotels all over - this is definitely a place to go back. You just have to know what you are looking for and what kind of entertainment one wants. If you choose wisely, and you look for a bit more quiet place and not overloaded with people - and good drinks, food etc... than this is your destination! Thank you Team Ortus for the great stay. Dopo aver visitatoBled e Lubiana siamo andati verso la costa senza prenotazione, così all'ultimo momento optiamo per questa struttura con camera tripla disponibile in mezza pensione e piscina a disposizione degli ospiti. Soggiorno confortevole e adeguato alle nostre aspettative. Piscina molto godibile anche se fuori pioveva. Servizio ristorazione , sia cena che colazione, promosso a pieni volti con ampissima scelta in entrambe le occasioni, inoltre tavolino fronte mare (per chi arriva presto) con vista mozzafioato. Così sì che ci si sente in vacanza. Da tornarci sicuramente anche in estate per godere del mare e dei divertimenti per ragazzi.

We arrived at the Hotel Piran after a day of cycling, only to find that I had somehow booked us for the wrong date. Luckily being early season, they had a vacancy. The front desk staff could not have been more helpful. They quickly arranged a room for us, and provided a great dinner recommendation. The hotel itself is quite nice. The rooms are smallish, but with the balcony and seaside view felt very comfortable. The terrace lounge was a nice feature (great at sunset) and the hotel location is excellent for both a quick dip in the sea as well as visiting the historic sites.

Tutto è stato fantastico tranne che per un paio di aspetti negativi. Parcheggio a pagamento (5 euro al giorno per strada in un paio di minuti a piedi o 15 in metropolitana), in qualche modo non si aspettava che dei soldi sarebbero stati presi per il parcheggio. Cuscini e coperte potrebbero anche essere ottenuti in qualità, altrimenti è in qualche modo poco dignitoso per 5 *. Bene, come commento: a Capodistria non esiste una classica prima linea di spiaggia. Sì, e non ci sono spiagge classiche, è stata una piccola sorpresa per noi, ma l'hotel ha una piscina con acqua di mare, e puoi anche guidare fino alla vicina Pirano, dove c'è una micro-spiaggia di pietra.
