We arrived looking to do very little during our stay and that's what we got thanks to the staff at the three shires. We were greeted on arrival by Julie who was friendly and easy to talk to. Our room was clean,well decorated and there were some fantastic pictures on the walls. We were very impressed with the bathroom,even down to the heated sensor mirror . The bed was extremely comfortable. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the food was delicious and we were able to relax in the lounge afterwards. There is a great choice for breakfast and Julie was a pleasure to talk to. We ate out at the Eltermere Inn the second night which I regretted as it wasn't as welcoming as the three shires. I would recommend this place to friends and family and we will be visiting again in the near future.

Neu renovierte Zimmer direkt am See. Abendessen und Frühstück kann man bequem im Pub, erneut mit Seeblick!, einnehmen. Es ist sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich. Sie gehen auf Wünsche ein. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall. Pier Ambleside direkt gegenüber mit vielen Bootstouren.

Came for afternoon tea with a gift voucher. Great experience . We were pleasantly greeted on arrival and taken through to the lounge area and seated in two comfy chairs. The waiter bought us a selection of teas in for us to look at and make our choice. We loved the fact that the tea came with a timer to maximise the brew. The presentation of the food was excellent with the sandwiches presented in a book. A great afternoon of high quality food and service

State a posto presso il B&B Rothay Garth! Siamo stati nella stanza 17, che è una stanza angolare in fronte. E 'vicina alla strada, ma sinceramente non ho mai sentito molto rumore stradale. La stanza era grande e confortevole, e bellamente luminosa e aria. La camera da letto era bella, ma un po' piccola. La posizione non poteva essere più perfetta ..... facile passeggiare al centro della città e solo mezzo chilometro al lago. Il colazione era eccellente, e aveva entrambi un grande colazione inglese tradizionale, insieme ad altre scelte più piccole. Inoltre, potresti regolare il grande colazione in qualsiasi modo ti piacesse. Tutti i dipendenti erano molto amici e di aiuto. La sala di soggiorno frontale è un grande luogo per rilassarsi, anche se attualmente non offrono il drink dopo-domani annunciato sul loro sito web. Il parcheggio è anche un grande vantaggio. Mi piacerebbe stare qui di nuovo per la prossima visita.

Staff are always welcoming and can’t do enough to make your stay the best it can be. The hotel rooms are spotless with really comfy beds. Breakfast was nice and a good selection for anyone’s taste. Hot foods can be ordered when you sit down and there is a good selection of fruit, yoghurt, toast, cereal to help yourself to as well. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Ambleside with good parking. We didn’t need to move the car once we had arrived as everything is in walking distance and we spent our days exploring the many walks which you can take from Ambleside. We are regular visitors and this is our favourite place to stay.

Just back from a fabulous 3 night stay and can’t wait to go back! Room was stunning and very comfortable with quality products, spotlessly clean thanx to the lovely cleaning ladies who left it immaculate and smelling lovely!food was truly exquisite and head chef Aaron Lawrence deserves a special mention for that it was some of the best food me and my husband have eaten, Patrick the food and beverage manager was very professional and friendly and a credit to Rothay Manor !The restaurant staff were all super helpful and knowledgeable about the food being served although didn’t get all they’re names we would like to thank Isaac ,Nadine who has now gone on maternity leave and Joe who impressed us both immensely and we look forward to returning and seeing them all as they made the experience an excellent one
