Hotel a Agios Ioannis Mykonos, Grecia

We stayed at the Amazon Mykonos Resort & Spa for 5 nights for the first part of our honeymoon. This was the best hotel we have ever stayed in, we were greeted with champagne and Greek sweets while we checked in and our bags were delivered to our suite. The hotel offers a free transfer too and from the airport or ferry port. We had the honeymoon suite with private pool and jacuzzi, the room was amazing. Huge bedroom and living area and plenty of outdoor space to either sit in the sun or the shade - the sunset from this room is the best on the island hands down. The breakfast is amazing literally every choice you could want with fresh eggs, crepes and waffles cooked to order offering both American, English and Greek options. There is an option to have breakfast in the room but this comes at an added cost of around €50. Chronis the hotel manager was always on hand to answer any questions and would organise taxis for us too and from our destination giving us recommendations where to eat or drink. All the staff in general are so helpful and friendly when delivering room service or in the restaurant, if they saw you walking they would always give you a lift on the hotel golf carts. Things to be noted - The hotel is around 15 minutes drive from Mykonos Town itself so a taxi or vehicle hire is required. The hotel pools are not heated so in May they were cold. Didn’t effect our stay at all because we had a jacuzzi hot tub. If you get the chance to stay at this hotel make sure you do, you won’t regret it. 10/10

Επισκεφτήκαμε το συγκεκριμένο κατάλυμα τον Ιούλιο του 2021 για ένα τριήμερο. Ήδη από την άφιξή μας στο νησί, μείναμε έκπληκτοι από το «orientation tour» που μας έκανε ο κύριος Γιώργος. Μας έδωσε πολύ χρήσιμες πληροφορίες και έτσι δεν νιώθαμε ότι βρισκόμασταν σε ένα «άγνωστο» μέρος. Τα δωμάτια ήταν ευρύχωρα, με βολικά κρεβάτια και καλό κλιματισμό, ενώ η θέα από το μικρό μπαλκόνι που είχαμε ήταν φανταστική. Υπήρχαν βέβαια κάποιες «αστοχίες», όπως ο σχηματισμός του ντους, αλλά τα θεωρώ «μικροπράγματα». Είχαμε μάλιστα πρόσβαση στην πισίνα του διπλανού καταλύματος εφόσον αγοράζαμε κάτι από το bar τους και η θάλασσα με λίγη όρεξη για περπάτημα ήταν σχετικά κοντά. Αν τώρα κάποιος Έλληνας διαβάζει την κριτική μου, θα αναρωτιέται: Όλες οι κριτικές έχουν 5 αστέρια, αυτή γιατί έχει 3; Αφού μας η περιγραφή σου δείχνει ότι είναι ένα εξαιρετικό ή τουλάχιστον πολύ καλό κατάλυμα. Για να είμαι σύντομος, αυτό που μειώνει την βαθμολογία στα τρία αστέρια είναι μια κόντρα που είχαμε κατά την αποχώρησή μας με τον κύριο Γιώργο, τον ιδιοκτήτη του ξενοδοχείου. Θεωρήσαμε ότι «κοροϊδευόμασταν» από την όλη κατάσταση, ενώ μάλιστα σε μια συζήτηση ένα μέλος της παρέας μας δέχθηκε μια «προσβολή». Η απάντηση σε αυτή την προσβολή πιστεύουμε ότι είναι απλή: Να έχετε προσωπικό, ρεσεψιόν και γενικότερα ανθρώπους που να καλύπτουν τις ανάγκες των πελατών. Προφανώς και οι πελάτες θα έχουν απαιτήσεις, εσείς πρέπει να είστε έτοιμος να τις αντιμετωπίσετε με το κατάλληλο προσωπικό και όχι οι πελάτες να τις περιορίσουν. Κρίμα, διότι είχαμε σχηματίσει πολύ καλή εντύπωση για εσάς και την εξυπηρετικότητά σας, ιδίως από το πολύ ωραίο πρωινό που μας προσφέρατε, ο ίδιος φυσικά, χωρίς ειδικό χώρο και προσωπικό. Ίσως το κατάλυμα να είναι εξαιρετικό για τους τουρίστες και όχι τόσο για τους Έλληνες...

Fantastic hotel. Excellent localization, great food, extraordinary people working there very well trained. Room is perfect and very clean. I had a small problem with my laundry and the entire team was ready to make me comfort. Very unique place, congratulations to owners, managers and team!!!

Ho prenotato per due gg una camera con piscina privata e vista mare… una cosa spettacolare. La struttura è nuova, curata nei dettagli, si vede il lavoro di architetti e interior designers. La struttura è perfettamente integrata nel paesaggio, una cosa che ho apprezzato moltissimo. Regna sovrana la pace e il silenzio interrotto a volte solo dal verso di qualche asinello in lontananza. La piscina viene controllata e ripulita ogni mattina. Le camere pulite e profumate. In dotazione asciugamani, teli mare, accappatoio e ciabattine. Le camere distanti dalla reception sono servite da un servizio di baggy. La colazione buona anche se per una struttura del genere mi aspetterei di trovare molta più quantità e soprattuto una maggiore presenza di prodotti locali, che sono il vero vanto di Tinos. Abbiamo provato il ristorante Napul’è tinos, abbiamo conosciuto Francesco il pizzaiolo proprietario che è nostro conterraneo, che ci ha fatto assaggiare una delle migliori pizze mai assaggiate. E siamo di Napoli! Ma il plus di questo posto è il servizio. Il personale è giovane e attentissimo, sempre sorridenti. Vasilikos, Maria, Marina, non ricordo i nomi di tutti. Un grazie particolare a Cristina che è stata sempre presente cercando di accontentare le mie richieste per quanto riguarda la camera, considerando che sono piuttosto esigente, ma con garbo e competenza è riuscita perfettamente nell’impresa. Insomma, ho bisogno di tornare lì ma prossima volta per una settimana almeno. Tinos è un’isola che merita più attenzione!

Il mio marito e io abbiamo avuto un fantastico soggiorno all'Adonis Hotel! Il personale dell'hotel era molto amichevole e accogliente - dai ricevitori al personale cucina e al servizio di manutenzione. La nostra camera era molto spaziosa e pulita. I letti erano carini e confortevoli. Le notti erano tranquille senza nulla di rumore. Il colazione continentale era davvero carino con molte opzioni. Mi sono particolarmente apprezzato i salsicce, uova, funghi, dolci greci e frutti misti. La posizione del colazione è anche favolosa con vista sul mare. La posizione dell'hotel è perfetta perché è solo a 2-min passeggiata dalla stazione di autobus Fabrika (dove si può prendere gli autobus per le spiagge) E si trova a pochi minuti a piedi a Mykonos Town, tra cui Little Venice. Il trasferimento aeroportuale gratuito è certamente un fattore più. Non eravamo al corrente del trasferimento gratuito per gli ospiti all'inizio, e il ricevitore ci ha offerto gentilmente questo servizio all'uscita che ha perfettamente bloccato il nostro soggiorno. Molto consigliato! Vorrei sicuramente restare qui di nuovo! :)
