I enjoyed my stay at Central Backpackers. It's a small, compact hostel so it's pretty easy to start up a conversation with someone if you feel like it. The room (8 bed female dorm) was super spacious, and it was great to have power sockets and a light for each bed. Hostel was clean, showers were nice, but one of the toilets always seemed to have an issue with flushing (toilet within shower room by dorm 7). Kitchen was small but seemed like it had everything you'd need if you wanted to cook. Movie room was small but cosy. Great location, 5 mins from train station and easy walk to main attractions.

A friend and I had planned to go to Oxford to celebrate Mayday in 2020 but the pandemic meant this didn’t happen. In November 2022 my friend tried to book into the same place but it was full. There weren’t many rooms available and he booked us into the Ali Inn based on the photos. Neither of us read a review until the day before when I did. The majority of the reviews were poor but as we had no choice we arrived not expecting what to find and somewhat concerned. However There was someone to meet us Our room was clean and tidy. There were sufficient towels, toiletries and tea and coffee. Because of Mayday prices had increased everywhere and the Ali Inn was no different but at £260 for 2 nights wasn’t bad. It is a budget hotel. It is centrally located which is good. There is noise as there is a pub opposite and the theatre beneath it. It is a number of rooms up stairs and adjacent to a sandwich business run by the same people. The owner? Manager? Was very amenable helpful and friendly. The room was a good size as was the toilet and shower room. Definitely good for budget travellers who don’t mind noise. Ideal location very central and close to the bus station. Clean. Big towels too! Bed slightly soft and that’s the only slight criticism I have.

Prenotato per due notti mentre visita Oxford, Woodstock e Blenheim Palace. L'alloggio e la posizione hanno perfettamente adattato la fattura, ma da Oxford abbiamo avuto buone strade per tutte le nostre destinazioni e il parco e i passeggeri sono stati vantaggiosi. Alloggio come previsto - buono standard. Mangiato lì una sera - cibo buono e ben presentato. Tutto il personale che abbiamo incontrato era: piacevole, amichevole e utile. Raccomandato - ripreso.

l'hotel è piccolo, ma è molto carino e non esattamente in centro città, cosa che amiamo un po' fuori dalla folla, a 5 minuti a piedi. la colazione è ottima, e l'area salotto all'aperto è rilassante.

Il centro commerciale di Diddley Squat di Jeremy Clarkson è situato nel bellissimo villaggio di Hook Norton a soli 6 miglia dal centro commerciale di Diddley Squat, The Sun Inn. Il quintessential English pub. Il personale è stato molto amichevole e utile. Le camere sono molto presentabili e a £99 per notte di colazione inc con un postcode Oxford mi è stato impressionato. ! Le refreschi nella stanza sono splendide, bar di avena, croissants, muffin, cereali, cartoni di succo, latte fresco, frutta, acqua bottigliata, caffè..... Sei fortunato a ottenere 2 biscotti in un pacchetto in molti luoghi. Dump the bags, e giù per alcune bevande pre-diner, una vasta gamma di vini, spiriti, birre e cider mainstream e l'ipa locale, amaro ecc. Dopo aver prelevato la birra e Sauvignon Blanc, era cena, una grande selezione sul menu, e dai pasti che abbiamo prelevato tutti erano fantasticamente cucinati e presentati. pochi altri dopo aver bevuto la cena e pronto per il letto. Ho notato nel bagno 3 pacchetti di cluci, all'inizio pensavo fosse per le signore che non volevano trovarsi svegliati dai loro mariti che sniffavano.... Purtroppo il pub rimane aperto più tardi del solito e si può sentire la gioiosa molto facilmente, non un grande problema, presto sono tornato....... Tempo per andare a colazione, ooh! La nostra matrigna potrebbe davvero fare con la sostituzione! Come dormire su un sacchetto di spanner rotti, la doccia è “interessante” oh e per favore avere una parola con il pulitore, non mi dovrebbe aspettare di pulire il poop secco dal pannello sinistro dai precedenti occupanti!! Sotto ci andiamo a scegliere tra le 7 o così opzioni il brindisi inglese che è altrettanto delizioso come il cibo serale, quindi non può mancare il cibo e il servizio. In generale sono molto impressionato con il sole inn. Io’d sicuramente tornare indietro, e le uniche due critiche sono, la matrice e il pop.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at The George. Lovely dinner - good range on the menu including lots of alcohol free drink options. The bed was really comfortable and it was a lovely cozy room with great amenities. Lovely location - Dorchester is beautiful! We loved the community farm just up the road with a lovely cafe and alpacas among others. Lovely countryside surrounding Dorchester and lovely cycle route to Oxford on the NCR5. Thanks George Hotel for a lovely stay!

Lovely welcome upon checkin - ladies were so helpful - booked two rooms as visiting with friends for the Christmas event at Blenheim Palace . Perfect location for it , 10 mins walk to the gates . Breakfast was lovely with good choices . Rooms are quaint and tea/ coffee - water / biscuits provided which was welcomed . Clean , warm and comfy rooms - we will be back and I have recommended to other friends also . Perfect for the occasion.
