This was genuinely a wonderful and most special place. The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet. They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it. The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard. The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need! The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality. Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible. Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite. A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!! There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise. She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!! Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too! La posizione è meravigliosa, solo una pietra che getta dal centro di Canterbury. La colazione non era abbondante, molto fondamentale.È stata inclusa nel prezzo, quindi non posso davvero lamentarmi. Molti negri con la stanza, anche se ..... manutenzione sembra essere giù sulla lista delle priorità tristemente. Fridge non ha funzionato. La TV aveva craccato il frame plastico intorno a lui. La telecamera non si collegava alla TV. Tuttavia, potevi avviare la TV manualmente ....poi avresti sbagliato ciò che non funzionava prima. Il set di trattori, accanto al letto, aveva maniglie che continuavano a cadere. Non c'è un piatto di immersione nella vasca.Dovresti essere un contortionista per vedere nello specchio della vasca, potrebbe essere stato meglio posizionato sulla parete addiacente. E' stato anche un po' importante che tutti i dispositivi elettrici dovessero essere montati in un solo pannello. Ciò detto, nonostante tutti i negri, non ci ha fermati a fare un bel fine settimana a Canterbury - un luogo costruito per questo insieme all'ospitalità di Sanjeewa.

This was a three night ‘escape’ to explore a completely new area. Broadstairs is a lovely small old fashioned resort with bracing walks, friendly people, some lovely eateries and many places to sit and watch the world go by. Artfuls was a perfect base. Small and friendly, it is ideally located near the seafront, promenade and town centre. The staff were all absolutely lovely, extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and good places to eat. Our room was quirky but comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfasts were excellent and unhurried. There was easy parking nearby. I readily recommend Artfuls to any couples wishing to enjoy a relaxed break in a lovely place. I would

I stayed a couple of nights over weekend , room was large with a double bed and a single , clean with tv and coffee and tea . Bathroom was clean , had bath with overhead shower . Room on main road but wasn’t too noisy , space for vehicle parking at the front and around side of building  Saturday night they had a marquee up in the grounds and quite loud music but went off at eleven so didnt disturb my sleep. Bar looked nice and dinning area and tge food smelled nice but I was there for friends barbecue so didnt eat there , would definitely stay there again .

This is a thoughtful hotel... Eye mask and ear buds for a more peaceful sleep. As it faces the main road and is an old build the noise from the road does penetrate but it's not ridiculous. Not many hotels have hot chocolate drink which my boys totally enjoyed. Thank you Khun Aa for taking the time to answer all our questions. For those booking just to let you know that the toilet is outside the room but it's for your exclusive use... Only room 6 has a proper ensuite. All in all it was a good hotel... Comfy.

L'hotel è rigoroso con 3 PM acceduto. Purtroppo, è stato il giorno più caldo e abbiamo avuto la stanza numero uno che si trovava di fronte a ovest e caldo caldo. Aircon non ha lavorato nella stanza, il personale ha dovuto mettere 3 fan e un portatile AC ma non ha fatto molto. Fuggito tutto il giorno quando tornava a notte la nostra camera era ancora calda misurata 28’c. La signora cibo era utile, ma non molto può fare per aiutare a raffreddare la stanza. L’hotel era gentile abbastanza da offrire il 50% della nostra tariffa alla check-out.

A great pub to stay at for a long weekend. We stayed there to watch racing at Brands Hatch for two days and you could not be closer to the circuit. The food was outstanding, we had a ribeye steak and we are still talking about it a week later. The staff were very friendly and if they saw our glass empty it was promptly collected and refreshed. My wife and l spent a delightful 3 nights in this lovey unique house with Japanese themed garden. Our room was clean and well equipped. Rod is an excellent host and made us very welcome. He also provided a very good breakfast. Highly recommend.

Il manager dell'hotel è estremamente bello e utile. I panini semplice ma deliziosi sono stati organizzati per il nostro colazione. Questo hotel è il miglior hotel per i giorni che la nostra famiglia ha soggiornato nel Regno Unito. Tutto quello che offre questo hotel è in linea con le nostre esigenze e il manager dell'hotel ci tratta con un vero cuore e la amo molto.
