The place was clean, the room was a little smaller than I imagined, staff polite and helpful, excellent stay for the price would recommend to those on a budget The lack of local shops on this very smart new development means remembering to buy everything elsewhere

Very attentive staff and super helpful with every request. We had to check out very early the next day, and even so, they had the great detail to leave our breakfasts prepared earlier than usual. Situated in a central location. Very recommended.

Sono felice di scegliere questo hotel al Cairo.La posizione geografica è molto buona. L'altra parte della strada è il museo. Per cinque minuti di cammino si può raggiungere la stazione di partenza del Go Bus e il centro della stazione di autobus.Il bus può andare ad Alexander, Luceso; il bus può andare all'aeroporto, la piramide, ecc. L'hotel ha un ascensore, un aria condizionata e un'offerta di colazione gratuita!Ci piace molto il viso locale e il cibo del Cairo.La stanza è pulita e pulita e anche spaziale!Abbiamo prenotato questo hotel da Alexander e Lukashenko. Non lontano, c'è McDonald Lawrence e un negozio di pizza, e si può trovare un negozio per comprare birra egiziana!Stella egiziana è davvero buono, 40 sterline per chilo.

I was surprised to find that not all room types have air conditioning. In hot weather, this is a basic necessity, not a luxury. No matter the room type, AC should be standard across the board for guest comfort. Please make this clear in the listing and consider upgrading all rooms.

看到博物館窗景很好，大樓是有古典的設計，很美麗，還有古董鐵的電梯，我非常喜歡古董建築，這是住這裏我意外的驚喜，唯一就是入口一樓很恐怖，很黑很臟，有古堡探險的感覺，我知道那是公共空間，不是酒店的地方，如果能弄光亮會讓人第一感覺更好. 員工的態度也很加分，年輕的小夥子熱情禮貌. 地理位置也很好 熱水器不熱 但是員工很積極處理 雖然有點晚回來，處理好還是可洗澡. 住在四樓不是很新 ，開頭窗户打不開 ，但第二天忽然又打開了，看到博物館很漂亮，但是要趕着離開了可惜. 面向馬路，有點車聲，開羅喜歡按喇叭的，但是我有帶耳塞的習慣，能入睡，同伴沒帶耳塞也能入睡. 早餐雖然説好了時間要去提醒才開始弄，能看着博物館吃早餐也很美麗，麪包好吃. 他們家五樓有新房間裝修，感覺很好，帶我們參觀了房間，比四樓新很多，大家可以期待.

Castle Hotel è il posto migliore per scoprire il Cairo! Mi è sembrato di essere a casa. Sono stato in 8 diversi hotel al Cairo durante il mio tour: l'hotel del castello è la mia famiglia e la mia scelta n. 1 ora. So dove andare nei viaggi futuri. Castle Hotel :) L'hotel si trova al 16° piano, quindi hai la migliore vista che puoi trovare. Puoi vedere finora. Puoi la città, il Nilo, un po' una piramide. Miglior collegamento stradale perché Ramses Street. Negozi 1 minuto a piedi. Abu tarek koshari 5 minuti a piedi, fiume Nilo 5 minuti a piedi. Il personale è fantastico. Cordiale, sempre pronto ad aiutare, accogliente, discreto. C'è un'atmosfera molto piacevole lassù. I suoni della città lontana. Molto rilassante. La prossima volta prenoto una notte in più solo per godermi il panorama. È semplicemente vibrante lì e senti l'energia della città. Non vedo l'ora di tornare! Grazie di tutto! Ci vediamo!

This hostel has a good location and I would say that it is pretty walkable in the early morning and very late at night but the walking infrastructure is not the best in Cairo. Mid day the traffic makes it very tricky to walk around even though there are many good restaurants and attractions nearby. Finding it is a little tricky but it is down an alley that doesn't allow cards and it is located on floor 2 of an older building. There is an elevator but all doors and gates need to be closed in order for it to work and we found guests at the hostel weren't good at closing after themselves. The staff are very kind and welcoming but we got a bit hung up on the payment. We booked on Trip with the ”Pay at the Hotel” option for 3100 Egyptian pounds for three nights in a private room but they were asking for 3600 when we were checking in. After a little back and forth they let us check in and gave us the keys so we could rest and wait for the manager's answer. The manager said no to our booked rate, we were told we booked on ******* and we now had to pay 3900 Egyptian pounds. I'm at a loss of words for this discrepancy between Trip and the hostel but there weren't better deals in the area we wanted to stay and we very reluctantly paid. The room was just a place to sleep with a box to the side where our shower and toilet were. The box had no ceiling or ventilation so there were smells throughout the room from the drains. The beds were comfy but were not completely clean when we arrived - there was hairs in the bed sheets. The room cleanliness overall could have been better. The area is quiet at night and we got a good night's rest to spend our days exploring Cairo. The breakfast was ok but there wasn't much room to eat in the common areas during our stay so we asked for breakfast in our room during our stay. We had a simple breakfast with a fried egg, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, banana, tea/coffee and Arabic bread. It is enough to get you through until lunch and is served starting at 8 pm. There is a convenience store close by that offers fairly priced snacks and drinks which you might want to seek out because they do not provide water at this hostel. We hope this property improves because it seems like it used to be really good and the location is good as well.
