Had a great few days here and met some great people too, they also have a lot of free group activities which are worth doing especially the platypus walk.

The inn is in the Battery Point, which contains plenty of beautiful scenery and special buildings. There are many kinds of rooms and different demands can be satisfied. The kitchen is not so big but free coffee and tea is provided. Limited bathrooms so maybe you have to wait but unforgettable experience for us. Free parking lot is offered also. You can meet different visitors here and mostly of them are backpackers. During our stay here, it was the owner's daughter's birthday. Sweet bread and donuts are shared for free by him.

VViv Chan YCBest Western Plus is situated at a great and convenient location in the heart of CBS. it's within walking distance to almost all city attractions. the bed is v comfortable and facilities are good considering the room rate. it is also v close to the City Park, like 7 mins by walking, great to hv a run in the morning. The front desk staff are v friendly and helpful. Tamar Valley Cruise is 18 mins walking, you can book tickets online or buy it there.

UUtente ospiteSecond stay at Nightcap Riverside. Price point was my main motivation, I paid $130 for the night.
Rooms are very comfortable, clean, well equiped, well heated .Renovated.
Bed was very comfortable, black out blinds good. Hotel internet signal strong and good speeds. Location is about 5 kms north of the CBD, need a car. a 20 minute drive from the airport. Meals at the Riverside Tavern next door typical pub meals, large servings and reasonable quality. A small convenience store just across the road, a Woolworths supermarket about a 3 minute drive away. Some noise from the highway nearby, but quiet during the night. Fair bit of noise early ( circa 6 am on ) as early morning workers driving past, and quite a few “ tradies “ stay at Nightcap Riverside and start early. Didn’t bother me as I rise early also, but don’t expect a sleep in.
Overall, very good value for the price point.

UUtente ospiteNot bad hotel. But there were no tea bags, no milk. Cutlery looks extremely poor. All was from different set, some from hiking set. Also a lot of dust on the bathroom lights. To fix these problems will cost almost nothing, but it will improve the impression. And the final problem is parking. If you return late, there will be no parking place for you.

MMaimon TopFriendly receptionist and assist us to find a restaurant for dinner. The room was confortable and spacious. As the hotel is located on higher ground we had a beautiful panoramic view of Stanley.
