From the moment we arrived, your staff’s friendliness, patience, and genuine care made us felt truly welcome.
The accommodations were exceptional—our room was spacious with a large and well-appointed bathroom that comfortably suited two guests.
The living room, furnished with a cozy sofa and coffee table, provided the perfect setting for a relaxed breakfast.
Additionally, the laundry facilities were easy to use, making it convenient for us to wash our clothes.
The entire hotel(being a new building) was immaculately clean and maintained to the highest standards. The quiet, resort-style ambience added to the overall comfort of our stay.
One of the highlights was the scenic view of the magnificent Kaiyuan Temple which added a touch of tranquility to our experience.
Moreover, the hotel’s location was extremely convenient—just steps away from a vibrant shopping street filled with local gift shops, delicious restaurants/ food stalls and charming cocktail bars.
It is also one of the rare find within the walking zone yet reachable by car instead of having to drag your luggages to your accomodation.
Overall, we highly recommend 泉州录莳民宿（西街开元寺店）to anyone seeking a comfortable, well-located and beautifully maintained hotel in Quanzhou.

CChanDoraThere was a lot of traffic in front of the hotel. The bicycles with almost no sense of pedestrian safety and respect were flying through the street day and night. It was hazardous and actually quite dangerous.
Other than the problems with the traffic, which is really not the control of the hotel. I would like to thank you and compliment the staff of the hotel. They are very competent, well mannered, pleasant, thoughtful and helpful and I thank you.

NNathan JJMi è piaciuto davvero il mio soggiorno in questo hotel.

The owner has a tea house inside of the building and generously shared their aged tea and local desserts with us. They also helped us to communicate with taxi driver to get our cell phone back after we lost the phone in the car. I would strongly recommend this place to people who enjoy culture and tea.

AAli in ShanghaiThe place is an old mansion that’s been turned into a hotel. It has very nice architecture, with beautiful sofas, chandeliers, and other furniture and decorations.
Room/facilities:
Our room had a bathroom, a bedroom and a living room with a dining table. So there was plenty space for hanging out.
There’s an old grand piano that can be used by guests.
The breakfast was okay. But at least you can have coffee in the hotel.
There are balconies, a beautiful courtyard, and a rooftop, with many sofas, chairs, and tables, where you can relax. We were there in February, but I’m sure it’s a very nice place to relax in the spring and fall.
Location:
It’s close to old temples, and the walking street that has many restaurants, cafes, and shops to buy juice and snacks. There is a great duck restaurant close by. It was the best duck, a local specialty, that I’ve ever had.
Service:
The staff is very hospitable and helpful. They really make you feel at home. They even shared some local tea with us.

LLauren 红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.

La porta è a cinque minuti a piedi per la strada occidentale e aprire il palazzo, Il piano di gioco della carta, il piano di orologio, è su una rete, non perderò!15 minuti a piedi.Esci per prendere un piccolo auto bianco, arriva a Hangzhou per trenta minuti, scende a Hangzhou per cinque minuti, è molto consigliabile andare a piedi nella città di Hangzhou, prendere una carta da sola, tornare a casa molto sicura più tardi della notte. Non c'è bisogno di andare a West Street troppo, è in questa strada che si possono mangiare tutti i tipi di cibo caratteristico localmente a Hangzhou, pratica economica! Perche'non ho lasciato il Yuancheng molto vicino, sono andato tre volte, mattina e sera, e ho suggerito di andare al mattino e alla sera. Tutti sono persone, pomeriggio e pomeriggio. AAnlimThe accommodation is a room in a triple storey terrace house in a quiet area. It is in quite a central location but you need to walk about 7 mins from the main street to get to the house. The area is safe to walk in even when at night. There many food shops along the main street. You can also catch the white mini bus there. Our room was on the 2nd floor (Chinese 3rd floor). It was quite cold when we were there. There is no hot air conditioning. We were given a small heater. It kept the room warm but it couldn't dry the tiled flooring so the floor got messy from us walking in & out from the bathroom. Otherwise, the place is very clean. Toiletries & slippers provided. There is a washing machine on the top floor, free to use but no dryer. Our clothes had difficulty drying as the drying area is a room with closed windows. Shower area & toilet is together. There is a small room where you can hand wash your clothes if you want to buy I wouldn't advise that as drying is difficult. No lift. There is no fire escape since it is a private house. You need to contact the owner to inform him ahead of your date & time of arrival as he is not there all the time. He is friendly & helpful.
