Wonderful place! We really loved our time here, even though it was only for a day! If we didn't have a flight to catch, we would have extended our stay. The house is in an excellent location, beautiful area, easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Very close to the airport, which made taking our flight the next day an easy and stress free process. The Lawn has an interesting history, and they provide a lovely folder in the room which explains it all, while also including any information your might need for your stay. The room itself is cosy, clean, and full of charming touches. Breakfast the next day was also a treat. Quasim and his wife are so friendly and made sure our stay was as nice as possible.

Posizione fantastica, a soli 5 minuti di autobus da/per l'aeroporto di Gatwick, con una fermata proprio di fronte alla Guest House. Il mio volo è arrivato dopo mezzanotte, ma dopo averli contattati con 24 ore di anticipo, hanno lasciato le chiavi della mia camera in un posto sicuro. Sono stati molto ben informati su come arrivare. È un'attività a conduzione familiare e hanno davvero a cuore i loro clienti! Ho optato per una colazione continentale e mi è stata offerta anche una torta fatta in casa in omaggio! Il posto mostra i segni del tempo e trarrebbe sicuramente beneficio da una ristrutturazione. Ma per il resto, tutto il resto è stato fantastico!

I want to thank the staff. I arrived later than expected, and I didn’t have the code because I sent the email requesting it too late, BUT I called, and someone (I didn’t see) opened the door. My room key was on the reception desk ❤️. For a moment, I thought I couldn’t sleep there, but finally I got into my room. Carpet sootless. I had a coffee, and I slept like a baby. Unknown staff, you made my day. Thanks very much

Check-in was very simple with well detailed instructions. Room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Grounds and the rest of the house are well maintained and cleaned and make for great communal spaces. Very convenient for the airport and a great pub less than 5 minutes walk away!

Charles era carino. È un vecchio hotel scolastico che è stato aggiornato con bagni condivisi. Non sono un picky e è stato solo un fermo per lavorare il giorno dopo. Pulizia, vecchia scuola, affascinante, e solo le basi per essere comodi.

Rooms were looking a bit tired & could do with a freshen up. Food was very good, but not cheap and drinks were also quite expensive. Also only keg beers were available - both cask options were not available

E'molto vicino all'aeroporto per prendere l'aereo il giorno dopo o arrivare tardi. Letto particolarmente comodo I grandi e le sorelle sono molto buoni. La prossima volta torno ❤️

A good room with use of a shared kitchen

Molto soddisfatta l'esperienza di soggiorno.La famiglia del padrone è molto amichevole e entusiasta. Abbiamo un sacco di bagagli. La stanza che avevamo prenotato era al secondo piano. Non hanno paura di aiutarci a cambiare la stanza al primo piano per evitare di prendere il nostro bagaglio. L'intera camera è molto calda e tipica casa rurale inglese.Abbiamo camminato circa dieci minuti a piedi in un ristorante nella loro città consigliata, meta'luna, e abbiamo goduto di un delizioso pranzo inglese. Si raccomanda fortemente agli amici che parteno dall'aeroporto di Getwick di rimanere in questo hotel di famiglia per una notte per sperimentare la corretta vita rurale inglese.
