The place it self was great, the cleanliness was very good and the service was excellent. The only downside we had was the neighbours upstairs kept making loud noises through out our stay, however credit to the agents they replied back to us promptly when we brought this up and had notified their landlord. Unfortunately this didn’t still resolve the loud noises. The building it self is nice, the pool is clean and well maintained, however the building does have a lot of regulations in place which we thought was quite excessive. Other than these minor issues we had a great time and the apartment is well kept.

Pros: infinity pool, spacious flat, responsive customer support. Our flat had a sea view but also view on a cemetery, which isn’t mentioned so flagging it as some people may be sensitive to it. They provide towels but would suggest guests to bring their own if they plan to go to the swimming because asking for additional towels is at an additional cost. Cons: A/C in common area is shut off from 5pm to 8/9am the following day, so it feels very stuffy. Whilst I’m pro energy savings and sustainability, I think this is too extreme. Perhaps, worth considering extending A/C operations time to 8/9pm to 7/8am to make it more comfortable for residents and guests. Also the flat we rented was advertised for 9-10 pax, but it only fits 8 max. It didn’t bother us because we were only 6 but making a note here for awareness Note: If you’re a durian lover, this place doesn’t allow you to bring some back to the flat. We found out too late, otherwise we would have gone to a different place

La stanza è sorprendentemente pulita, coz con questo prezzo non mi aspettavo molto. Anche se il tipo di camera mia è stato cambiato, sono ancora felice con le camere da dare. Il bagno condiviso e la lavatrice sono molto puliti, e il servizio clienti è sempre disponibile anche quando è tardi. Hanno agito rapidamente per tutti i miei problemi e sono stati molto utili, che apprezzo davvero! Mi hanno anche aiutato a risolvere il mio problema bancario porco 😭😭😭 soooo utile, e ancora una volta vi ringrazio molto per tutto quello che avete fornito.

The hotel is very clean, location is excellent and very convenient for getting around, with easy access to many attractions. The only downside is that there are too few socket in the room, making it inconvenient to charge multiple devices. The hair dryer provided is also quite weak and takes a long time to dry hair. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay.

Everything is beautifully designed. It was truly aesthetically pleasing being in the room, and even in the common areas. Whenever I step out of the lift and into the common area of my floor, I will be greeted with a pleasant scent from the diffuser. I actually look forward to that every time I return to my room from outside 😂 In-house guests also get complimentary access to the gym downstairs which we really liked, because it’s a fully equipped gym with many machines and even for Hyrox training! Some suggestions for improvement: - Provide extra toilet rolls for the bathroom - More hangers/hooks near the shower area so that it’s more convenient to reach for clothes/towels - Reserved parking spaces for hotel guests. At the moment, maybe there is no need for it but there are a lot of people who visit the Sports Centre next to the hotel/the gym/pickleball courts. I get a bit nervous sometimes wondering if I can get parking when I return to the hotel. - Place a sign with the customer service contact numbers (work hours and after work hours) in all rooms. There was a power outage on one of the nights I stayed for over an hour. I messaged the main customer service number but there was no reply. It was only until the next day when I explored the kitchen that I saw the sign with the contact numbers. There was another contact number provided for after work hours. To be clear, the power outage affected the entire area, not just the hotel, so it was not the hotel with electricity issues. It would still have been nice to have a sign in the room and receive a reply from someone since the power outage happened close to 3am. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay and will recommend this place for anyone visiting Penang mainland!

In generale siamo soddisfatti di questo hotel, ma c'è una cosa che voglio sottolineare. Dopo aver controllato la signora con cui mi sono collegata quando mi sono iscritto, mi ha detto che c'era un marchio bruciato sul letto e anche un protettore di materassi e lei cancellerà il mio deposito di RM50. Poi ho chiesto a mia nipote che dormiva su quel letto e lei ha detto che il marchio era all'inizio lì, ma non sa che deve informarci. Ho cercato di spiegarle molte volte che mia nipote di 11 anni dormiva su quel letto e nessuno di noi in quella stanza fumava o utilizzava qualsiasi apparecchio elettrico come il ferro per capelli o il ferro curling o che non abbiamo con noi in modo da poter bruciare il marchio Si è rivolta a dire che era un nuovo marchio di bruciare e non avrebbe lasciato che i suoi ospiti dormissero con un letto di bruciare. Questo è un peccato per noi, mentre viaggi con mia madre, mio marito, mia nipote (11 anni) e mio nipote (10 anni) potrebbe causare il danno come affermato. Non ho scelte, ma solo accettarlo come la signora continua a dire che il mio deposito non è nemmeno sufficiente per coprire. Non sono sicuro perché si siano attaccate a una famiglia con bambini e non ho mai avuto questo problema in tutta la mia prenotazione con Trip.com. È stato nostro errore non controllare la condizione della camera dell'hotel, come controllati a tardi - 8:26 pm e tutti siamo davvero stanchi di viaggiare lungo. Direi che è stato causato dal loro personale, due ragazzi del Bangladesh che si occupano di custodia domestica, ma l'hanno accusato della mia famiglia. Naturalmente non lo ammettereanno come la signora continua a dire che non forniranno letti da letto bruciati. Non è del tutto giusto per me e uno dei miei dipendenti continua a insistere sul pagamento del deposito quando sono arrivato.

Hi. Thank you for hosting us. It was really a wonderful stay. I am especially surprised and warmed by your hospitality. I traveled with 4 young kids (all boys), my elderly mother and my wife. We don't commonly travel because it's always a concern to us, how to make time and space for everybody. But. This time, things are alright and it turned out to be a very smooth and comfortable stay. The place is spacious and just nice for all the 4 kids to roam. The view outside is astonishing and the unit is directly facing east. In the morning, I could actually catch a glimpse of the sunrise. It really makes me understand by sudden, why Penang is named as the jewel of the east. Ya. It was a perfect morning for me then. The room upstairs is specially designed for the kids with warm colours, clean bedsheets, blankets and soft pillows. It's so comfortable, and my kids refuse to leave the room. To my surprise, inside the drawer besides the bed, there are very nice story books for the young minds. Not to mention, the huge TV screen in front of the bed and an even bigger one, downstairs in the living hall.. Ya, there is always something for every different age.. btw, I brought along 2 young minds who are 3 and 5 years old, they had wonderful nights and sound sleep. Ya, it's for those traveling with very young ones, or even the old ones. Ya, the old speaker works really well (with the high ceiling of the living room), when playing a nice morning piano music in the early morning, it's so calm, clear and crisp, and looking out of the window and the vast blue sea. You can temporarily forget about the hassles of life. Thank you again. 👍 Thumbs up

It's a new hostel in the middle of Georgetown. The check in was smooth. The room was clean. I definitely recommend Rope Walk.
