We had a wonderful experience at Vishan Garden Hotel. It is located in the middle of Zhongshan Lu that has no lack of food. We had 5 nights in the Nanyang 3 bedroom and a mini living room. Each room has a bathroom. The living room had a toilet. This was great for 5 adults. Rooms were huge and beds were comfy. Drinks in the minibar was free with no replenishment. Cleaning aunty was very friendly too. The hotel staff was friendly, esp Linda who engaged with the elders in my group. She was caring towards them. The hotel provides free guest laundry with 8 washer-dryers. They also provide return service of hour laundry, which was great especially when you start washing your clothes at 11pm after a long day out. Aircon in all rooms were working well and all of us had restful 5 nights. Oh and we love love the tea aroma along the corridors. Thank you to the lovely stay and for your hospitality.
Food recommendations
1) if you love Dou Jiang or Dou Hua, look for the soya bean shop at the shop houses to the right along Siming South Rd, after Chagee. The you tiao is yummy!!!!
2) jap bbq shop 肆合烤肉 at Zhonghua Cheng level 2 (north wing) unit 203 to the left of hotel. Kind and friendly boss who is not pushy and even does the bbq for us. Food was fresh and yummy. He also makes his own dip for the meats.

Personale estremamente amichevole, andate tutto il modo per aiutare a chat, aiutatemi a prenotare Didi quando la mia app Didi non può funzionare.
Aiutatevi a portare il bagaglio come lobby dell'hotel è al 7° piano dell'edificio, le camere sono dal 8° piano.
C'è una signora Chen Su Mei, (se ho la giusta ortografia) utile per spiegare dove arrivare.
I due uomini sono inoltre estremamente utili a spiegare come arrivare ai posti.
Raccomanderò ai miei amici i viaggiatori a Xiamen.
Situazione conveniente, vicino alla strada turistica principale e al traghetto opposto all'isola di Gulanyu.

Hotel is located at a very central location that is near to many other attractions and because its a rather new hotel, the interior is clean and well maintained. We booked the loft for a family of 4 and really enjoyed our stay here. Gotta really commend the staff for their service and eagerness to help. We had a few hiccups here and there but the staff really went above and beyond to help us solve issues faced and service recovery was really amazing. Everyone from counter to cleaning team were so pleasant. Thank you Vishan for making the stay a memorable one and we will definitely be back if we visit Xiamen again!

Un piccolo hotel a conduzione familiare con un proprietario che si prende davvero cura di voi.
Il miglior servizio che possiate desiderare. Dal tè offerto in omaggio alla sala cinema/tè.
Vi trovate nel parco e, una volta partiti i bus turistici, vi ritrovate soli in un ambiente incantevole.

La casa è antica e il proprietario del negozio è accogliente e confortevole. Ogni sera, i bambini possono fare i compiti sul tavolino da tè nell'atrio, e gli anziani bevono il tè in cortile, divertendosi. Agli amici che desiderano soggiornare in hotel è necessario ricordare di recarsi alla ”Farmacia Hongrentang (filiale Ding'an)”, che è molto conveniente.

公共面積也挺大的，二樓是休閑區域，可看書打桌球等。
正巧遇到颱風天的我們，走的時候大風大雨，哈哈，開心的兩晚入住時光，老闆一家都超好，有機會再見。

Dopo tre giorni di soggiorno in luglio, il senso generale è molto superiore alle aspettative.Dopo tutto, i bambini conoscono molte persone. Questa casa può essere considerata la migliore esperienza di soggiorno.La stanza è molto pulita e il capo è supernice. La sera ho anche chiesto se potevo mettere i fiammiferi. Il capo ha detto di si', e dopo averla messo, il capo ha bisogno di aiuto per pulire. Anche se il colazione è semplice, ma ha un buon sapore. I bambini amano il riso di mais sangue prima. Il capo si alzò presto il giorno dopo per comprare qualcosa per i bambini, ma purtroppo non c'era. Il capo ha comprato il riso, davvero molto attento. Il piano di sotto della folla è la spiaggia. Puoi raggiungere il mare, molto conveniente.

Quite and soothing environment to choose a place to slow down city lives.
They clean up the rooms everyday after I leave the room, and replenish and change example the toiletries and slipper to new ones.
They are attentive to the needs in the room.
Friendly and lovely young couple owners.
The boss even fetch me to pier to catch my first ferry on my last day. Which was so early that day have not even breaks yet.

Abbiamo avuto una sorprendente permanenza a questa piccola gemma. Personale estremamente utile, per errore avevamo prenotato una stanza senza finestra e ci hanno aggiornato gratuitamente. Molto caldo e benvenuto. L'edificio è bellissimo e storico, nel bel mezzo della vita di Zhongshan Road. Se ritorniamo a Xiamen, rimarremo qui.

UUtente ospiteFrom my experience at 4 different accommodations in the Jinjiang/Quanzhou area, I have come to learn that the cleanliness (or rather, lack thereof) at this hotel is typical of this area at this price range. So I don’t want to make it sound worse than it deserves.
That said, the first thing I saw when I entered the room was a gross-looking tangle of hair on the floor. I sent a WeChat message to the person managing it, and to their credit they were very apologetic and sent someone to clean it up, which they did (I was gone at the time). When I got back, though, I was disappointed that although that particular tangle of hair had been cleaned up, the rest of the floor still had visible dust and who-knows-what on it. I ended up seeing a broom and dustpan in the hallway against another door, and I decided to briefly borrow it and quickly sweep my own floor so I didn’t have to feel like it was gross. After that it was ok.
Also, there was a sort of dank, unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, which I believe is from the drain. The toilet is the kind that you are not supposed to flush toilet paper down (instead put it in the bin next to the toilet), so it’s also possible the smell was the result of that system after the previous occupant’s stay. There is a water problem in the bathroom such that when you take a shower, water ends up sitting in a kind of puddle on the floor near the sink, so it’s hard for the bathroom to ever be entirely dry, which no doubt also adds to the difficulty of keeping the bathroom smelling fresh.
The room itself was big and included a washing machine, which was very helpful! There was a little kitchen area and a kettle and such. Water bottles were supplied every day. The bed was comfortable and clean.
There was a sofa and a coffee table, and another sort of recliner seat near the window. Unfortunately the coffee table looked dirty (some sort of sticky residue on it) from the last occupant, so I didn’t want to put anything on it.
The location is right next to the Jinjiang airport, which is of course convenient for arriving or departing by plane. Checkin was done via WeChat - I just told them I had arrived, and they sent me a code for the door. There was no one at the front desk when I arrived, but I can’t say for sure that no one is ever there. Possibly if I had waited longer someone would have come, I don’t know.
For all the negative comments I had above, I want to repeat what I stated at the beginning - this level of cleanliness is apparently fairly normal for this price range in this area. I still think more effort could and should be put into making it a cleaner and more inviting space for customers, and things like the standing water problem in the bathroom should be fixed to prevent mold growth and such, but it’s also possible I just need to suck it up and spend more money on a better hotel room if I feel that my standard of cleanliness is so important.

UUtente ospiteThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

UUtente ospiteDato che non era un periodo di grande affluenza e saremmo rimasti per un'intera settimana, al momento del check-in ci hanno assegnato la Wooden Loft Family Room, che era piuttosto carina. La stanza era confortevole, con ampie finestre e una bella vista sul ruscello e sulla foresta. Era fantastico avere una lavatrice, che aveva anche la funzione asciugatrice, così potevamo comunque asciugare i vestiti quando era nuvoloso e fresco. Il WC intelligente è stato un po' deludente: il controller non era molto reattivo e lo scarico era molto debole. La vasca era bella, anche se l'acqua non era abbastanza calda da renderla confortevole. Soprattutto abbiamo apprezzato il cortile e l'area colazione/ristorante, in particolare la sala da tè. Sono davvero ben progettate e organizzate e offrono un piacevole spazio per rilassarsi, leggere e scrivere. La colazione era piuttosto buona, le porzioni venivano fornite in base al numero di persone, anche se spesso non erano sufficienti per noi e di solito ne chiedevamo un'altra. La sera ci portavano anche un vassoio di frutta e yogurt in camera, che abbiamo apprezzato molto. La posizione è comoda per raggiungere a piedi lo Yuchanglou Tulou a Xiabancun, anche se parte del percorso si svolge sulla strada principale, che può essere trafficata. Per raggiungere altre zone come Tianluokeng e Taxiacun è possibile anche camminare, anche se a volte è necessario percorrere la strada principale in quanto non ci sono sentieri o stradine secondarie. C'è un servizio di autobus turistici che collega i punti panoramici e si può anche fermarli durante il tragitto, anche se è necessario acquistare prima un biglietto di trasporto, che non è semplice da ottenere se non lo si fa in anticipo. Quindi, la maggior parte degli ospiti arriva con la propria auto o ne noleggia una. Se si arriva in treno, sebbene trip.com indichi le stazioni ferroviarie di Yongding e Longshan come le più vicine, in realtà la stazione più veloce e comoda è quella di Nanchino. JJ995LMia moglie e io abbiamo trascorso qualche giorno a Fuzhou Sanbaobindi Hotel per un'esperienza molto necessaria, ed è stata senza dubbio la migliore esperienza hoteliera che abbiamo mai avuto. Situato nel cuore del quartiere storico di Sanfang Qixiang di Fuzhou, l'hotel è stato la base perfetta per esplorare i tesori culturali del vecchio Fuzhouall a pochi passi, compreso l'accesso al metro.
Da quando siamo entrati, l'esperienza è stata eccezionale. Ci siamo stati caldamente accolti con tè e snacks tradizionali, e il processo di check-in è stato un brisein di meno di tre minuti! La nostra stanza ha un bel giardino cinese, un design tradizionale equilibrato e un comfort moderno, e ogni dettaglio della stanza è senza spot, con un chiaro rispetto per l'architettura storica.
La vera evidenza del nostro soggiorno, tuttavia, è stata il livello di cura e ospite fornita dal personale, soprattutto dal nostro manager di servizi ospiti, Roy Huang. You'll find historical exhibitions and curated objects that offer insight into both Wuyishan and the rich heritage of Chinese tea. And don’t miss meeting Xiaobai, the friendly resident dog who’s always happy to greet guests.
The 6th floor features a cozy tatami-style common room, complete with a go board and a tea table overlooking stunning panoramic mountain views — an ideal place to unwind.
What truly sets this place apart is the host and the staff. They’re warm, welcoming, and always ready to share tea with you — each time you return from a walk or come downstairs. I stayed two nights and tried at least 6–7 different kinds of Wuyishan tea. Even as a solo traveler and a foreigner, I felt included in conversations and easily connected with other guests.
Pro tip: If you know a bit of Chinese, it’ll help you dive deeper into the stories behind the place. But even if you don’t, the language of tea will still make you feel at home.
