Crestview is more suited to workers from outside the area, and there were plenty of them during our weeklong stay. Only a handful of travelers like us. The rooms have the bare minimum so if you want to put something on a hook in say the bathroom or bedroom, or even hang something up in the closet, I suggest you bring your own, even over the door hooks, or a mat at the door to wipe the bottom of your shoes clean. There are no bedside tables, so you have to improvise, maybe a laptop for a tabletop or just put everything on the floor. Flourescent lighting, esp in the 2nd room is annoying as its so bright in every room. Owners could save more if that was changed to something like LED or just a side table light in each room, (lounge had one but it was wobbly, and we didn't dare risk using it). The parks clothesline just outside the laundry was broken. We were lucky to be in cabin 66, (Oct 2023), as we had one right next to us, but I think everyone else missed it as it is tucked away. Zero issues with maintenance and cleaner who reported our sliding door to second bedroom was jammed upon our arrival. Maintenance man came when he said he would, (he was working on a plumbing job, and we were seen to next). Very much appreciated. Our unit was very clean and tidy. The cleaners quietly go around their business in the morning. Pity they have such old equipment to work with. It stands out. Can't be missed. The cart/s in particular that they use are so outdated and, in my view, an OH&S issue if not already. They cleaners don't even have a uniform. Uniforms and new equipment are good for morale and work efficiency and can be written off as deductibles, so the owner/s aren't really out of pocket. It looks better for guests as well. This is another reason why I only gave Crestview 3 stars

Sono rimasto qui per due notti, continuando il nostro viaggio verso la costa del Pacifico. La mia prima impressione era (i britannici capiranno) era come un marcatore in alto Butlins o Pontins, ma in realtà è stato eccellente. La caffetteria/ villa ha 3 letti ma 2 sono al piano di sopra e siamo chiusi che ha fregato mia moglie soprattutto la prima notte. Ma ha tutto quello che vuoi una cucina completamente attrezzata, una tavola da pranzo un comodo divano e una TV a schermo grande. There was also a patio area with bbq. The bathroom/ shower room was superb, probably one of the best showers I've ever used! The grounds are immaculate and we also made use of the washing machine/dryer. Non abbiamo usato le strutture a piedi, ma sembravano buone. L'ospedale koala è accessibile dietro Flynns ed è un dovere da visitare. Le spiagge locali sono assolutamente fab. I have been coming here for many years, but no longer. Our room was poorly cleaned (a thick rim of dust around the carpet perimeter) and dreadfully tired. We were woken at night by an outside caller looking for accommodation: the phone system had gone haywire. When we mentioned the problem next morning, we were told 'many other guests had complained'. No apology, instead an implication we should take comfort from not being the only one put out. Dormie House used to be a guesthouse; it now operates as a golf clubhouse and function centre, and the staying guests are distinctly second-class citizens. Common areas, where it once had been possible to relax undisturbed in front of a warm fire, are now likely to be take over for some corporate event or other. The house guests are expected to retreat somewhere else. They won't have the choice of a game of snooker or table tennis - those amenities have been removed. There's really only the bar and the overpriced drinks. When Covid struck, Moss Vale Golf Club closed the clubhouse and moved activities to Dormie House. This, however, is now a permanent arrangement. Looking for someone to stay in Moss Vale? I suggest looking elsewhere.

L'area cucina è facilmente accessibile con microonde, tostapane, ecc. Il cortile è un'area invitante per sedersi e rilassarsi. Camminare facilmente ai posti di pranzo e all'ospedale. Mi piaceva il mio soggiorno a Byron Springs. Mi sono fermato nel tetto. Era spazioso, pulito, comodo, e il letto era estremamente comodo. I disegni sono belli e calmi. I brownie freschi in cucina comune erano un trattamento da tornare. La host, Laura, era benvenuta, utile, e ha offerto grandi suggerimenti sulle cose da fare intorno a Byron. Grazie per il vostro assolutamente meraviglioso soggiorno!

From the time we drove up the main driveway we were thrilled and so in love with this place! The building is a historic place with the history written in your room dating back to 1923 for your reading. But it doesn't feel old n dated but warm and cosy. There was a spa tub in our toilet that can fit 2 and helps you relax after our hike and walk in the nearby mountains. Our hosts were fantastic throughout our stay and made sure everything was in place! From introducing the place and recommendations to lighting up the fireplace at night for us to keep warm and enjoy our evening. This place was the best place we stayed on our holiday.

I would have rated this 2 stars but the good customer service puts it to 3. Basically the design of the place is terrible. There is only a single shower and a single toilet to share between about 4-5 rooms. And the single toilet is within the same room as the shower! which means if another guest takes a shower you are locked out of toilet access until they’re out (imagine if someone takes an hour to get ready in the bathroom!). Furthermore, if you have to go to the toilet in the middle of the night, you have to go out into the common corridor which is brightly lit 24/7 thereby waking not only you up, but also waking your partner up as the light floods into the room & the door is very loud opening/closing. The room is also tiiiiny. We were initially booked 4 nights but asked to leave after 2 nights because these issues were causing us to have bad sleep and not enjoy our stay. To their credit, they organised a refund for the remaining nights. The location of the place is good, near shops and cafes. But we rebooked at a Meriton suites which was only slightly more expensive but so much more comfortable and better value.

Questo è un grande luogo per campeggio, caravana o soggiorno in una cabina. Vicino a Byron Bay, Suffolk Park e solo una breve gita a Ballina o Brunswick Heads. Una collezione di attrazioni come il bagno e la mostra blocchi, cucine di campeggio, piscina, caffè con pizza’s in the evening. Una breve 10 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia (che parte di esso è fuori lenzuola amico) quanto è buono.

We had a great stay at the Baxley. We booked the compact double room with shared facilities. I never thought I’d be able to give a guest house with shared facilities but they were excellent. You get assigned a bathroom to your room (has a shower and toilet) however if it is in use you can use another bathroom. Always clean - lovely smelling shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We were able to check in earlier than the stated check in time online which was a great help. The only downfall (not their fault) is the parking. It is situated on a road which has unlimited street parking however whilst we were there it was parked up with the same cars. We fortunately managed to get parked a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.
