The hotel is in best location to see table mountain and visit Cape Town. Our room on the 14. Floor is so big and luxury. The personal in Taj hotel are all so friendly and helpful, they try their best to satisfy the guests. The food and wine are fantastic!

Nice hotel located in the city center near supermarket..kfc ..Mcdo and pharmacy..nice food and the staff are amazing always smiling and helpful..the only thing that was disturbing at night we could hear the noise outside from the road even of we were on the 14th floor..overall was a cery nice hotel, we were there for 5 nights and extended our stay for 4 more nights.☺️
Had a great time. Id definitely come bsck here. Decent breaky spread including a salad bar, scrambled eggs or omelette. Plus cereals pastries anf fruit.
Room was tidy. Had a safe. Gym was excelldnt. Staff were do lovely too.
Security guys were super helpful. You take a uber everywhere pretty much so this was a great base. Although did walk to shops and few attractions.

The room looked a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable. However, in the last 2 nights of my stay, the key card somehow did not register me as a guest which resulted in me having to go down to the reception to reactivate the card which was inconvenient, especially since I had already booked these 2 nights.
Please also note that the hotel takes a deposit of 200 rands per night and it should be paid in cash which was a bummer since Cape Town was the last stop in my trip and I didn't have that much cash anymore and I won't want to withdraw just for this. Unfortunately, it seems that cash is the only way to go since other payment methods will result in losses.
I ended up using my credit card to pay this deposit where they charged my card instead of placing a hold. When I checked out, they asked for all my card details including CVV to process the refund. Unfortunately, a month later, I still did not receive a refund on my card. It took another month before I got the refund via bank transfer. To my horror, I received 32% less because this was charged by the hotel's bank. The hotel stated that the hotel does not bear the transfer cost and claimed that my card did not work when they attempted to refund. However, the attempt to refund to my card was never mentioned in my e-mail correspondences.
In conclusion, the hotel room is generally pleasant to stay in but avoid using your card to pay the deposit to avoid the above problems.

This hotel is amazing ! Firstly I arrived early before check-in time. The friendly receptionist shared that the hotel offers a free safe luggage room (in the lobby area) , where I stored my luggage then went to explore the town. There are many restaurants/coffee shops and the bo-kaap tourist attraction at a walking distance from the hotel. 5-10 minute drive to the V&A water front. 35+ minutes to wine farms & about 25 minutes to camps bay. The hotel was very clean, safe and they served an amazing breakfast. The lobby/lounge also has charging ports

Pretty good experience in this hotel! Very good location! The views and rooftop are the highlights for sure! Magic 360* view on all the city and table mountain, great for sun set drinks! The pool looks great (same bar rooftop) but it was closed to public, not sure why. The bedroom was large and comfortable, very quiet except for the strong wind that night. Decent breakfast. For dinner, same restaurant than breakfast, it was delicious but you can’t get room service, it’s based on self pickups. We asked for more water delivery, never came. The reception man was not so friendly but the rest of the staff was super nice!

This is the second time having to book with you guys however this time was terrible! The lights in the sitting room were not working, the blinder was half way through and it wasn’t closable which meant having to sit in the dark because another person can see through. I went down and spoke to the receptionist (male) he said I should wait in my room and someone would come up and help but no one came. I love booking at this place but the recent experience is definitely gonna make me think twice.
Hotel tranquillo e confortevole con parcheggio, diversi ristoranti e una vignetta vicina. Piscina è piuttosto piccola (è solo una minore meno di questo hotel), la colazione è variabile, il caffè è delizioso. È necessario che si vada da qualche parte perché non abbiamo visto alcun trasporto pubblico, ma in SA è una pratica normale esplorare Capo Town con l'auto.

UUtente ospiteI would like to share my experience of staying in this apartment. We lived there very poorly because it’s a self-service setup with only two plates. If I’m using one plate for something else and my partner is using another plate, I no longer have a plate to prepare another dish. We literally had two plates in the house, as if it were a hotel where they would cook for us—we wouldn’t need more dishes for anything. How can I buy groceries for two plates, with literally one spoon per person and one teaspoon to share in the morning for our coffee, and one cup per person? Additionally, we did not have a broom, and it was very difficult to clean after ourselves. We had to wait for cleaning/maintenance to come for at 10am while we skip the dirt or use a tissue to clean, even though we don’t want to invite anyone in we had to choice , We can’t even scrub the floor on our own; we had to wait until we sleep and wait for them. No shower caps , no toothbrushes to toothpaste to start the stay ,not even little enough to get comfortable when you check in ,,I don’t recommend it for travelers who land late at night , it’s not helpful at all you sleep dirty here until shops open , they run out of heaters and leave you freezing in the room , check out time is 10am so it your flight is 6pm on the same day be prepared to roam around the streets like a homeless while you Stayed a night with them , what happened to 12pm check out time and 2pm as latest ??? My partner was working night shift and had to be kicked out at 10am with his flight at 6pm ! He asked to rest for 2 hours and check out at 12 they charged 50% of room rate for sleeping for 2 hours not even half a day. This apartment is not helpful at all and they prioritize charging you more instead of availing themselves for help , bedsheets are changed after 3 days which means if you on your periods as woman and you mess up the bedsheets you have to sleep with blood for the next 2 days -Why ??? I believe beds should be changed everyday as per the room rate calculations for each day unless they mean we pack our own bedsheets for emergencies…additionally there was a construction that would grill the roof while you sleeping at 8am so again my partner couldn’t sleep after working night shifts WITHOUT A WARNING!!! We regretted staying here and one traumatic issue of plates : I wash after every meal because no extra plates to push for another day , washing using my hands since there was no scrubbing 🧽 . I felt like i didn’t pay enough to stay here .
WWT88DoubleTree Cape Town - Upper Eastside was a wonderful experience! The hotel was spotless, and the staff were genuinely warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and professional. The location was convenient for business meetings, and it’s just a short drive to major attractions.
The room was modern, comfortable, and well-equipped for a productive stay. The amenities, including the gym and restaurant, were excellent. I really appreciated the delicious breakfast and, of course, the signature warm cookie on arrival! Highly recommended for business travelers and anyone looking for quality service and a comfortable stay in Cape Town.

UUtente ospiteThe overall experience was good, friendly staff and good installations, we liked the breakfast and the gym, also great views to the table mountain and lions head from the room and the pool. Location wise also great, walking distance to most things in the region. However, some structural issues should be mentioned. The windows are old, without proper noise isolation - they even open fully which is unusual for a hotel. We could hear the wind blowing very loudly, also the music from clubs around there during the night. The bathroom has a major design flaw and every shower unavoidably results in a completely wet floor.
Despite that, room was very cozy and comfortable.

Il mio hotel è stato molto confortevole, il servizio di navetta è stato puntuale e facile da trovare ~ rendendo il mio trasferimento aeroportuale senza stress.
La mia camera era molto confortevole, e io ero fortunato a avere una bella vista sulla montagna da tavola, che era un bel bonus! Il ristorante superava le aspettative - sia il pranzo che il colazione erano deliziosi, e il servizio era eccellente.
Il personale e i conducenti della nave sono stati tutti amichevoli e accoglienti, il che rende il mio breve soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Considerato il traghetto gratuito, il colazione complimentare e il senso generale di sicurezza (specialmente importante come un solo viaggiatore), il prezzo è certamente valsa la pena.
Sarei felice di rimanere qui di nuovo prima di un volo e lo consiglierei ad altri viaggiatori che cercano comfort e comodità.
OO.N.AIl Westin, Capo Town, è un vecchio hotel, ma continua a mantenere la sua presenza, la sua qualità e un certo livello elevato in Capo Town.
Abbiamo occupato una stanza di gestione e abbiamo anche avuto accesso al club di gestione sul 19° piano. La stanza era molto bella, con buona letto di legno, letto di alta qualità. Ciò detto, abbiamo dovuto presentare una denuncia sulla natura di fretta di come la nostra camera è stata pulita il secondo giorno del nostro soggiorno. Il letto non è stato fatto correttamente, il pavimento del tetto non era pulito, e il bagno era mezzo pulito. Non è buono per un hotel 5-star. Dopo aver denunciato, il custode ha modificato la norma e il livello di pulizia è stato elevato al livello più alto per la durata del nostro soggiorno.
Abbiamo ordinato anche cibo dal servizio in camera e la metà di quello che abbiamo ordinato non è stato portato - ci hanno dato qualcosa di diverso, ma dopo 45 minuti di attesa che l'ordine originale fosse portato a noi, abbiamo accettato con riluttanza l'ordine sbagliato, Mangiate il cibo e poi presentate le nostre denunce più tardi.
Il buffet del colazione era buono, ma non c'erano grandi selezioni di carne fredda nella sezione della carne fredda. È davvero necessario migliorare su questo.
Infine, la prestazione di servizi complessivi da parte di alcuni dipendenti richiede un miglioramento significativo. Alcuni del personale del ristorante sono troppo alti quando si parlano, e alcuni di loro hanno anche malvenuto e atteggiamento non scaldato/viva ai loro clienti. E'come se si sentessero che ci stanno facendo un favore, i loro clienti, servindoci. Non abbastanza per un hotel di questo standard, e alcuni di questi dipendenti devono essere riqualificati.
In generale, ci siamo divertiti nel Westin e ci ritorneremo certamente quando ci accingiamo a visitare la città del Capo.
LLira MHo dovuto soggiornare in questo hotel per 2 settimane a causa dello sciopero. È stato fantastico. Il servizio è stato adorabile da parte delle signore alla reception (specialmente quella con i dreadlocks), mi dispiace di aver dimenticato il suo nome. I ragazzi che parcheggiano le auto degli ospiti sono sempre stati cordiali, accoglienti e disponibili. Ci tornerei sicuramente. La palestra è stata il mio punto forte.
