We booked this new hotel out of curiosity and trust of large brand, but quite disappointed The hotel located at an area outside t4, next to the big parking building/bus terminal, but there are no/minimum signage/directions leading to the hotel, while only one arrow at the bus terminal pointing at the big building with the large novotel logo, making everyone thinks that we can access the hotel through the well lighted bus terminal with ease, but sadly there is no crossing facilities between the terminal and hotel, you will need to lift your luggages, jaywalking through two car lane and climbing up the lane islands if you dont want to walk back 200m for the unnoticeable correct route; in fact the only route leading to the hotel from the airport is the side walk OPPOSITE to the big arrow with poor lightings and no signage at all. As a tourist with heavy luggage, thanks for offering the chance to weight lifting. When we arrived and reflect the problem, concierge said they also received similar complains. So nothing has been done to correct the nonsense and good luck to all the up coming visitors. The room is decent to be honest and with a clear view facing the car park building we mentioned earlier, no much to see yet no problem for us too. Bed is soft and comfortable allowing us to have some good rest. However, theres an empty black bottle in the rubbish bin i believed to be the leftover from the last guest, hope the housekeeper can have a closer look in the future. Some facilities have great designs that i would like to greet the designer/procurement and admire their mastermind for installing those equipment and challenge the wisdom of humankind. For instance: the anti-intuitive shower switch for change to top shower or handheld shower head, it is semi cylinder disguised as part of wall mount of the top shower, which is about 1.9m - 2m from the ground, for those who cant find the switch and not tall enough will have to stick with what was preset. Second, the hot water dispenser at the breakfast bar, you can simply press the two buttons on top and nothing would happen, turns out there is an extra sensor you need to block with your thumb and use another finger to press the buttons on top, this can encourage guests to give up on the hot water if no one is around to ask. The breakfast is the most disappointing part, frankly all quality are high standard but the choices are few and basic, simply bacons/ eggs/ veges/ salad/ hams (well the mushrooms are very impressive though), there is also a honey hive (with a rectangular frame) but mostly empty at the middle (at the time of 7am) where the side are hard to spoon out, ppl try very hard but the loose stands make it even harder to spoon out, the frame eventually collapse and guest gave up to take the hive. No staff notice/try to fix the collapsed honey hive/ change to a new one during my whole breakfast ( around half an hour) and remain the same when we left. The pancakes supposed to be eat with the honey are dry and inedible imo too. The price for the hotel is not cheap comparing to the nearing but the standard does not meet up with the price, facilities are new and thats the only advantage on the table. PS: the hotel offer free shuttle to the terminals too, try to mention and book for your shuttle as there are only 3-4 seats if everyone have large luggages, otherwise the concierge will be surprised you did not ask for this hidden service with no mentioning during check in and no timetable ever provided when you check with them in the morning.

Questo è un bel ristorante. L'interno è molto pulito e grande. Il letto è comodo e il bagno è buono con i jacuzzi. Vederete cangurosi e cocktail fuori dal cottage in mattina e sera. I miei figli godono molto del soggiorno. Tuttavia, è necessario cucinare i propri pasti o andare a mangiare. La guida è circa 15 minuti.

I recently stayed at Ibis Styles Kingsgate in Melbourne for a few nights, and my experience was a mix of positives and disappointments. The hotel is in a great location in the CBD, just a short walk from Southern Cross Station, which made getting there from the airport easy via SkyBus. Trams are also nearby, so getting around the city was no hassle. The single room I booked was compact but functional. The decor was simple, and the bed was comfortable enough for a budget stay. However, I had some issues with the cleanliness and condition of the furnishings. The room felt a little outdated, and the bed linen had visible wear and tear. Housekeeping was not up to standard, and I even encountered damaged bedding with exposed stuffing, which was quite off-putting. While the staff were friendly when approached, the overall maintenance of the hotel definitely needs improvement. One of the nicer aspects of the hotel was the common areas. The lounge had a cozy atmosphere, with bookshelves and warm lighting that gave off a heritage-style charm, which was a contrast to the actual room experience. The facilities were basic, but for a budget stay, they were acceptable. The price was reasonable for a centrally located hotel, but considering the issues with cleanliness and room upkeep, I expected better. It’s an okay option if you’re after an affordable place to stay in the city, but be prepared for some compromises. If they improved their maintenance and housekeeping, it would be a much better value-for-money choice.

Prepaid S$575.33 for booking a room for 2nights from May 22-24. Front desk charged to my credit card again upon checkout for A$586.16 (S$543.59). He didnt realise the double charge until I brought to his attention. He apologised and reversed the charge, & assured me there wont be a credit card admin fee charged. However, when I received my credit card statement, it shows I was charged S$39.04 being FX & bank fee for the mistake the front desk staff made. I’ve been following up with Sheraton MEL since July 10 on this matter but no news after July 26 when I gave the bank information as requested by Mr Kajal Gaurav to process the refund. Till today Aug 21, I have yet to receive the refund. I have emailed several times to Sheraton but no one is replying. I am still waiting to hear from anyone copied in the email correspondence to provide an explanation and if I will still be receiving $39.04. Meanwhile, I’d still like to thank David, the housekeeping staff, who was extremely helpful during my stay.

Nice hotel. Warm swimming pool and sauna, good point at this cold weather. Clean room everyday and more towels for my kids. Nice location near every where center of city . Also having bathtub inside, my kid very happy about this. Thanks Taynara for helping me alot

Not recommended for those who value their personal data security and privacy. Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections. Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment. None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests. FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building. The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful. In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross. I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind. The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it.

Io sono rimasto nel motel di Box Hill tra il 3° di Nov'23 - il 5° di Nov'23. Mio marito e io siamo arrivati al motel di Box Hill circa 12-1pm. Eravamo così stanchi quando ci siamo girati da Sydney - Melbourne. Abbiamo guidato da Sydney a mezzanotte. Quando chiamiamo se ci lasciamo presto, sorprendentemente è consentito. Altrimenti avremmo dormito in macchina fino al check-in nel tempo se la stanza non è ancora pronta. Abbiamo una stanza no.1 e era molto pulito. Non ho usato la tovagliola, perché preferisco usare la mia tovagliola, mio marito usa anche la sua tovagliola. Uno dei tovaglioli aperti, pur avendo un snodo su di esso, l'ho messo a parte, nonostante non l'avessimo usato. C'erano 3 piastrelle in totale e una piastra era sporca e io presumo che l'ospite precedente abbia usato questa piastra e non l'ho lavata, ma invece l'ho appena slittata tra la piastra pulita. Usavamo due piastrelle per noi stessi, ma io ho lavato i piastrelle 3x da solo. Anche la velocità Wifi è grande, perché ho potuto completare un po' di lavoro dalla stanza no.1. I miei genitori mi hanno sempre insegnato a apprezzare e rispettare i posti delle persone. Quando ho visto Carol e l’OMG, è così gentile, gentile, in terra e utile. Era impegnata a spostare i bagagli delle persone nella loro stanza. Ricordo che mio padre mi ha sempre insegnato che il grande imprenditore non è quello che sempre voleva essere servito, ma quello che sapeva come servire gli altri prima. Un grande leader sa come si sente a fondo per osservare, imparare e servire gli altri, così come meglio apprezzare e sperimentare i diversi ruoli per comprendere i doveri e le responsabilità di ciascuno. Roles. Grazie anche alla squadra di motel di Box Hill e a Carol per averci permesso di rimanere in un posto pulito e tempestivo. Raccomando al massimo il Box Hill motel, Melbourne a chiunque in viaggio a Melbourne.
