Great location to explore Dunedin city. Room is large and very clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly. We will be back again.

Great hotel with magnificent views. We booked a Deluxe King Room with Lake Views and the view was magnificent. The service was excellent and the staff welcoming. The fireplace was a nice touch! The parking is a bit of a hassle with very limited free parking ($20.50 NZD per day) and the rooms are older with old tech and carpets.

I recently stayed at Scenic Hotel Southern Cross and had a very pleasant experience. One of the biggest highlights of this hotel is its excellent location – it's within walking distance to many of Dunedin's main attractions, including the Railway Station, Baldwin Street (the world’s steepest street), and Queen’s Gardens. Whether you're in town for sightseeing or just want convenient access to key places, this hotel is ideally situated. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were warm and welcoming, making the entire stay hassle-free. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring the city. Another plus is the on-site hotel parking, which is a great convenience, especially in a central location like this. Overall, I’d recommend Scenic Hotel Southern Cross for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel in Dunedin with friendly service and all the essentials covered.

La stanza era pulita e il letto era comodo. Short su sacchetti di tè e la luce esterna rimane tutta la notte che ha bisogno di una luce sensoriale o una cortina nera fuori sulla porta  Il sedile del bagno è libero ma tutto è stato pulito il personale di servizio fa un lavoro fantastico grazie  In tutto abbiamo dato a 8 /10

This hotel is very good, clean and comfy. I love their bed. It's so soft and comfortable. It's located in the good location. If you don't mind hearing the noises of cars and sirens.

the front desk staff was so nice & helpful , as well as the other hotel staff! only thing wanna say the entry to hotel basement parking is too small / narrow for a big car (we are hiring Mitsubishi outlander) so please be careful when cornering at the entrance! overall, spacious room, comfortable bed and convenient location & check-out (just drop a key inside a box next to the roller gate if you driving!)

Room was spotless, front reception were always so helpful and friendly. We made use of the amenities trying out the gym, spa and sauna. Would stay again

La gondola è chiaramente visibile dalla maggior parte delle camere. Un bellissimo colazione è incluso per iniziare il giorno a molte attrazioni turistiche. Siamo stati in questo hotel per 7 notti e amava ogni momento del nostro soggiorno. L'accento sorprendente è l'eccellente servizio fornito da tutti i livelli di personale con un sorriso meraviglioso. Il personale è molto sottoscritto, tutti molto utile per soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti dell'hotel. Shay, il direttore, era anche un piacere guardare il personale sotto controllo con rispetto e gestire tutte le attività con un occhio aperto ai dettagli.

It was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even showed us how to use the electric stove. The bathroom and kitchen were both spotless.

酒店環境特別好，老闆娘是一位中國姐姐，特別好，還給我牛奶，這裏很安靜，而且離景區很近，十米的地方有個麥當勞和加油站，100米的地方有一個炸魚薯條也是國人開的很好吃但不友善，總之酒店很乾凈衞生，地理位置好，方便快捷，停車很方便
