Durante il nostro soggiorno abbiamo avuto un episodio speciale mio figlio ha accidentalmente lasciato uno dei suoi scarpe in un taxi DiDi, e abbiamo lottato per contattare il conducente a causa della barriera linguistica.Grazie a Dio, il membro del personale Dragon Xu è andato di sopra e di là per aiutarci. Ha comunicato con il conducente, ha organizzato per recuperare la scarpa, e ha anche gestito con grande attenzione tutti i dettagli e i costi connessi.
Questa scarpa ha un significato molto speciale per la nostra famiglia, e siamo davvero grati per la sua gentilezza e dedizione. A causa di questa esperienza, rimarremo certamente al Pullman Yantai Center con ancora più fondamento la prossima volta che visitamo Yantai.

L'hotel è pulito, confortevole e arredata con gusto. Il servizio è buono. L'area da pranzo è grande e c'è una vasta diffusione di cibo. Caffè, cordiale e soia dalla macchina. La camera è grande, luminosa con grandi finestre balconi, letto re con 4 piastrelle, 2 tavoli laterali, molte soccette e porti USB. Bagno/toiletto separato. Il sedile è caldo con auto flushing. Gli asciugamani sono puliti e buoni. Ha anche un tavolo rotondo con 1 sedia. Camera grande e confortevole. Molto buon prezzo per soldi, comparabile a Hanting hotel. Rimarrei qui se vengo a Weifang. Nell'adiacente dell'hotel ha un buono e economico negozio di noodle.

Sono arrivato al Pullman Hotel a mezzogiorno del 12. I due camerieri, Ollie e Li Shuyu, hanno fatto il check-in in hotel, hanno presentato un delicato piatto di frutta e hanno migliorato la stanza. Easy check in procedures. A shoutout for water free flow in bottle. One of us accidentally cut her finger and the front desk was super helpful and generous in providing plaster and iodine. There was also a parcel locker for picking up food delivery which is just outside of the hotel. Less than 50m away. It's a convenient location.

Being situated close to Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport makes it an ideal choice for transit passengers or those with early departures or late arrivals. The transfer process was straightforward, and the proximity significantly reduced travel-related stress.
The Deluxe Queen Room itself was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well-maintained, with clean linens, a tidy bathroom, and adequate amenities. The layout felt functional rather than overly luxurious, but it delivered exactly what one would expect from an airport hotel in this category. Sound insulation was reasonably effective; despite the airport location, noise levels were minimal and did not disrupt rest.
Service throughout the stay was professional and efficient, with a level of attentiveness that stood out in the smaller details. In particular, the duty manager, Ali, made a strong impression through his proactive hospitality. As a welcome gesture, he personally brought a selection of local Shandong and Qingdao soft drinks to my room, which was a thoughtful and culturally considerate touch. This small act added a personal dimension to the stay and reflected a genuine commitment to guest experience beyond standard service expectations.
Facilities appeared comprehensive, though my stay was brief and primarily focused on rest rather than exploring all offerings. The lobby and common areas were well presented, creating a calm and organised first impression. Dining options were convenient, and while not exceptional, they were satisfactory in quality and variety for a short stay.
In terms of value, the hotel performs strongly. It delivers reliability, cleanliness, and comfort without unnecessary extravagance. For travelers prioritising practicality, convenience, and a good night’s sleep before or after a flight, it is a solid choice.
Overall, the Grand Barony Qingdao Airport Hotel provides a balanced blend of efficiency, comfort, and accessibility. The attentive service, highlighted by small but meaningful gestures from staff such as Ali, elevates the experience and reinforces the hotel’s reputation as a high-quality and dependable airport accommodation option.

This was a nice little hotel standing right in front of a beach. The placement can be seen as perfect as this large beach is wonderful itself and much better then the beaches at the city center. The only inconvenience to consider when choosing this or nearby hotels is lack of cafes and restorans nearby, so you'd better take breakfasts in the hotel, they were not bad, tasty and very filing, with serveral options to choose from. For other places to eat, except for a two nearby costly restorans, you'll have to wark to find one about 1-1,5 km or more. If you want to spend more time in the city center consider also the time to travel to it, about 1,5 hours on a bus, 30-50 minutes on taxi.
The service was decent, even though stuff does not speak english they were very welcome and supportive, helping me and calling taxi a couple of times when I needed it.
The hotel itself is clean. The room was cleaned daily, not perfectly as the floors in the room stayed a bit dusty all the time but that was not too much of an issue. The bedding was always clean, towels were clean as well and changed daily.
I have to say a few words about the beach and the see themselves. The beach is large and clean, there are trash bins which are cleaned daily. It have a sand of very good quality, indeed of a golden color. The beach longs for several kilometers and is from about 150 meters wide to 200+ meters wide depending on the tides. The beach is shallow but no too much, you can easily walk to a place where you can swim freely. It was August and the water was extremely warm and cozy. It was clean with little human made trash coming from the see, but due to temperature the water near the shore start blooming on a second or third day of my stay there. I had to walk 10-15 meters in a 50-80 centimeters deep water full of seaweed before I come to clear waters. I bit unpleasant but not a big deal. There were some jelly fish coming the shore, the see doesn't have dangerous ones though. The beach has some infrastructure, at least there is a place to wash your hands and legs and there are public toilets nearby the beach, but there are no safeguards on it. With an chinese specifics I would say that's a plus as they are too restrictive and protective here.

According to Trip.com’s grading system, The Madison Hotel is listed as a Trip Plus 4-star hotel, but based on our recent stay, we believe it falls short of that rating. While we had a mostly pleasant experience, there were noticeable issues that prevent us from agreeing with the 4-star classification.
The Positives
- Check-in & Staff: The reception team was friendly, and one staff member could communicate a little in English, which was helpful.
- Room Comfort: Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked well and allowed individual adjustment.
- Amenities: We appreciated the complimentary bottled waters and two soft drinks restocked daily in the fridge.
- Location: The hotel is conveniently located inside Wanda Mall, making shopping and dining easily accessible.
The Negatives (Why It’s Not 4-Star)
- Cleanliness Issues: The room wasn’t cleaned to a 4-star (or even 3-star) standard. We found nail clippings on the bedside mat, indicating poor vacuuming.
- Shower Water Pressure: The water pressure in the shower was quite low, which was inconvenient.
- Breakfast Limitations: While the Asian food options were good, there were very few Western choices. Additionally, the Western cutlery felt sticky and wasn’t properly cleaned.
- Staff Sleeping at Reception: On our second morning, when we tried to check out early, the reception staff were asleep on the couches. We understand they may have been exhausted, but this is unprofessional for a 4-star hotel.
Final Verdict
The Madison Hotel is a decent option, but we’d rate it as a solid 3-star hotel, not 4-star. If you prioritize location and comfort over luxury service and cleanliness, it’s a reasonable choice. However, management should address housekeeping and staff training to meet higher standards.
