Canada: hotel con palestra nella provincia di Alberta

Away from  the  busy Jasper but it is value for money to choose Best Western Plus for the purpose of holiday accommodation. The price is not expensive with generous breakfast provided.  My pleasure to recommend to friends for their options if they wish to visit Jasper.

This is the 2nd time I booked this hotel residence the first time March last year without a online booking then I booked through tthrough this year January 30 to February 3rd , I booked this hotel because it's been good service the first time I booked here and I had both times had good service. The hotel is a good location as it has bus service to downtown and southcentre that stops at chinook #10 & 15 + the Red line to somerset and Tuscany with easy transfer to the other lrt line blue line to saaddletown and 69st west end. I only used my hotel to relax and sleep other then that I was exploring and visiting family and friends. The front desk and cleaning staff was amazing 👏. The next time I vacation to Calgary expect a booking from this guy for a 3rd time.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Calgary-Airport for a quick stopover. As a frequent traveler through Alberta, I find this IHG property generally reliable, but my January visit was a mix of classic hospitality and a few seasonal frustrations. The Highlights: Late Night Relaxation: The pool area was buzzing with families and kids throughout the afternoon and early evening. However, I headed down about an hour before closing and it was a total shift in atmosphere. I managed to have a peaceful, quiet session in the hot tub, which was the perfect way to unwind after a long drive. Comfortable Rooms: As expected from this brand, the bedding was crisp and the room was well-insulated against the Calgary wind. Convenience: The proximity to the airport and easy access to Deerfoot Trail remains a major selling point for this location. The Drawbacks: Elevator Maintenance: It was a bit unfortunate that during my stay, one of the elevators was down for modernization maintenance. This led to some noticeable wait times in the lobby, especially during the morning checkout rush when everyone had luggage. Winter Parking Issues: This was my biggest hurdle. Given the intense cold during these Calgary nights, I was relieved to see outdoor stalls with plug-ins. However, I discovered the plug-ins were not powered, meaning my vehicle's block heater wasn't working overnight. Starting a cold-soaked engine the next morning was a struggle; I’d really love to see these activated for guests during the winter peak. Summary: Despite the elevator delay and the parking power issue, the staff were friendly and the amenities were clean. It’s a solid 4-star experience, though a few ”winter readiness” improvements would make it a 5.

Service was fast and accurate for both in-room and at the restaurant. Check-in and check-out was swift. The doorman/valet and bell team are very friendly, gave great advice about where to go around the hotel while the concierge wasn’t there. Bathroom was small, but clean and everything you need is there. Highly recommend.

Excellent hotel at a great location. Breakfast was good but could be improved by providing variety of food and most importantly place the tag next to food tray.

La stanza era pulita, confortevole e buon caffè, ma la navetta funziona solo una volta all'ora, che è strano per un hotel a soli 10 minuti di auto dall'aeroporto e non è conveniente per alcuni voli. Non c'era un caffè complimentare nel lobby. Il colazione era incluso, ma dovevi ordinare fuori dal menu. Non c'era un buffet veloce e non abbiamo avuto tempo di sedersi e aspettare di essere servito. Quando abbiamo detto bene, possiamo solo prendere un caffè per andare ci è stato detto 3.00.E soprattutto, si può sentire il traffico aereo tutta la notte.

Sorprendente!Abbiamo avuto un tempo sorprendente. Frutta deliziosa e ricco! Camere confortevoli. Bello caffè tutto il giorno! Torneremo sicuramente.

L'hotel era in fase di ristrutturazione, quindi ciò potrebbe aver influito sulla situazione. Il personale della reception è stato gentile e disponibile, mi hanno permesso di effettuare il check-in prima dell'orario di check-in alle 15:00, ma siamo onesti, non erano pieni e impedire alle persone di effettuare il check-in anticipato quando hanno camere libere è semplicemente un pessimo servizio. L'hotel in sé era deludente e tutto era il minimo sforzo. Puzzava di detergente e di sigarette e aveva una scarsa insonorizzazione. Non c'era acqua nella stanza e il distributore automatico era vuoto, quindi sono dovuto andare a piedi fino a una stazione di servizio vicina per prendere qualcosa da bere. È vicino all'aeroporto e a pochi isolati da ristoranti, ma questo posto ha l'atmosfera di un motel appena tenuto. Immagino che questo sia ciò che ottieni in questa fascia di prezzo a Calgary.

Room was average at best Pillows lumpy and it affected my  sleep Went to buy a bottle of water it was 4.50 Carts for luggage disappeared and staff didn’t seem to care, got attitude when I asked if the coukdcfind them as I had 2 - 50 lb bags plus carry on Cheap price but would try a different   place next time Average at best!!!

L'hotel ha una batteria che rende conveniente per i veicoli elettrici come Tesla. L'unico piccolo svantaggio è che il condizionatore d'aria è piuttosto rumoroso, ma questo è un problema comune con condizionatori indipendenti, dopo tutto, il compressore è all'interno. Fortunatamente, Calgary non è caldo, quindi non c'è bisogno di usare il condizionatore d'aria. 😜
