Hotel a 4 stelle in Prefettura di Miyagi, Giappone

The first thing I'll write about Richmond Hotel Premier Sendai Ekimae is the good location. It's right next to Aobadori Station, but there is only a stairway down. An elevator is located not too far away, and I'll get to that in the last part of this review. The lobby of the hotel has a nice ambience, and the hotel offers one complimentary drink and a complimentary bowl of soba noodles. Since the majority of hotel guests take advantage of these offers, the lobby and bar can be crowded during both day and night (until 22:00). The staff whom I interacted with, especially the young lady upon check-in, were all very friendly and helpful. Water coolers are available on each floor next to the elevators, so if it's late at night and you're out of water, you don't have to go far. This is a good service by the hotel. I really like the fact that from the ground level, you can take the elevator directly up to your room floor, bypassing the usually busy and crowded lobby. When it comes to sound insulation between rooms, unfortunately this was not too good. I was able to hear my neighbours banging their limbs, suitcases, clothes hangers etc. against the walls. I didn't really hear talking, but that's probably because my neighbours were Japanese and talked to each other in low tones (non-Japanese people should emulate this). As for noise from the streets, my room faced another building (which was what I requested), so I didn't hear much traffic noise. The shower temperature in my first room fluctuated badly. It would be hot for about 30 seconds, then it turned cold for a minute, then hot again for 15 seconds, then cold again for a long time. The hotel staff helped me switch to a different room, and the shower temperature in the second room was fine. The furniture in the rooms are a bit old, but that's not a big issue. The fridges on the other hand are too small and not cold, the hotel should purchase larger and better units. A nitpick of mine is having to use the television to choose the 'Do Not Disturb' sign for the cleaners. I'd much rather a switch next to the door, or the traditional sign to hang on the doorknob. I did not have breakfast at the hotel nor did I use any of the facilities, so I have no comment on those services. Overall, I had a good stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others. I hope that in the future the sound insulation between rooms can be vastly improved, and that the hotel can provide physical 'Do Not Disturb' signs or switches. Side note: If you have large luggage and need an elevator, you have to walk south just a little along Atagokamisugi-dori, and soon you'll see an elevator to the underground station. When you get into this elevator, get to the lowest level, and when walking to Sendai station via the underground passage, there is another elevator in an oddly-angled corner. A very nice and convenient hotel. About 8 min walk from sendai main station. The hotel entrance along the road can bit a bit of challenge to find but just keep a eye on it. The room is large and spacious by japanese standard. I did not try the breakfast but they provide free starbuck coffee at lounge from 1400 to 2200hrs. Would be good if they can change that hrs to morning onwards. They provide two type of pillows, one hard and one soft..which is good. Thanks for hosting me

Oltre le aspettative – Perfetto per il viaggio di business Il 3 maggio 2026 sono rimasto al Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai Nishiguchi PREMIER per un viaggio d'affari rapido. Mi è stato molto impressionato dalla qualità generale dell'esperienza. Perchè lo consiglio: Esperienza senza guai: ho valutato ogni categoriaPosizione, Pulizia, Servizio e strutturea perfetto 5 di 5. Configurazione ideale della camera: La camera doppia moderata è pulita e ben attrezzata, offre uno spazio confortevole per riposare e lavorare. Grande per i Professionali: In quanto viaggiatore di business, la posizione e l’efficienza dell’hotel hanno reso la mia logistica senza difficoltà. Il marchio ”PREMIER” riflette veramente il più alto livello di servizio e di attrazione offerto qui. Se si visita Sendai e si richiede un hotel affidabile e di alta qualità, questa è una scelta eccellente.

È stato un soggiorno perfetto. Tutto compreso le strutture, servizi, letti, strutture erano fantastici. La stanza è molto pulita e nuova, i dipendenti sono così gentili. In particolare, avevamo lasciato le nostre proprietà in sicurezza e l'abbiamo capito dopo aver raggiunto Tokyo.Abbiamo fatto una chiamata a questo hotel e il manager ha gestito questa situazione molto professionale! Hanno fatto una consegna a Tokyo, che è arrivato presto la mattina prossima, quindi ora siamo all'aeroporto di Narita senza fermarsi di nuovo da sendai!! Sono certa di restare qui di nuovo se ho la possibilità di visitare il sendai di nuovo. Grazie mille!

Il personale della reception ha fornito un servizio clienti gentile e mi ha fatto sentire molto a mio agio. Anche il fatto che ci fosse una vasca e una toilette separate e che il bagno fosse spazioso era molto comodo e positivo! Mi piacerebbe usarlo di nuovo quando verrò a Sendai.

Check-in and check-out was really easy. Room and hotel both had nice amenities. But the room could have been a bit cleaner. I noticed during my 4-night-stay, that the room had not been vacuum cleaned once and two times I received a slip of paper by the cleaning staff that the cleaning could not be completed. One time they stated that there still was my stuff on the table and therefore it could not be cleaned. Another time, they did just leave the slip without checking a reason. I was confused both times, since all the things left on the table were the ones the hotel put there. The bathroom should also not only be treated for mold, but should be cleaned more thoroughly in general, since there was still dirt on the walls and cealing, which caused a small number of flies to live in the bathroom.  Some people might also find it hard to fall asleep, since the walls are thin and you can hear the noise from the street as well as the very loud bathroom vent that is on 24/7 and cannot be switched off.  Location of the hotel was easy to find and very central, so that was really nice.

Si trova a piedi dalla stazione JR Sendai, la zona è piuttosto tranquilla, dal momento che è al lato est della stazione, il personale è stato molto attento e utile, la condizione della stanza soddisfa certamente tutte le aspettative bene, specialmente pulita e nuova. Sicuramente consiglia questo hotel senza dubbio. C'è una volta che abbiamo perso un pezzo di calzini dalla lavanderia, sono riusciti a trovarlo e a restituirlo a noi. Molto grato al receptionista e al personale(a.g. Gab) hanno trovato le calzini perdute.

At JR Sendai Station, close to the East Exit and easy access to the Shinkansen floor, altough there is still a small walk. The lounge is quite nice too. I arrived half an hour early and the front staff said my room is ready so they let me up. Thank you for the flexibility! Room is bigger than your average jp size and the bath is especially nice! With bath salt and massage nozzle and everything.

The ryokan location is excellent. My room has a huge picture window facing east. I can see the famous bay with its many islands, including the Fukuura island (福浦𡷊), in the morning with wonderful sun rise view. The Japanese breakfasts were excellent especially the one on our second day… fresh grilled fish, etc.. The Kaiseki dinners for both nights were wonderful with fresh grilled fish and high grade wagyu beef plus oyster cooked to perfection. The Onsens on the other hand are just Okay. However with the view of Fukuura island and its red bridge … nice.

We stay here for two consective years and the main reason is their breakfast buffet which is not a huge line but they had every local famous items to offer, one of the best breakfast with variety of local choices for guest to enjoy with proper menu rotation. Easy access from Sendai station, walking distance to Sendai Station, Bus stop, Aeon supermarket, Montbell shop, lots of nearby local restaurants, family mart and 7-11. coffee capsule machine available at lobby from afternoon time onward.
