Hotel a 4 stelle in Prefettura di Miyagi, Giappone

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Overall, it was a great experience.

L'hotel ha offerto un servizio eccellente e le strutture sono state eccezionalmente pulite.L'attenzione ai dettagli in tutta la struttura riflette la qualità di un hotel metropolitane ben gestito, creando una comoda ed accogliente esperienza per gli ospiti.

The ryokan location is excellent. My room has a huge picture window facing east. I can see the famous bay with its many islands, including the Fukuura island (福浦𡷊), in the morning with wonderful sun rise view. The Japanese breakfasts were excellent especially the one on our second day… fresh grilled fish, etc.. The Kaiseki dinners for both nights were wonderful with fresh grilled fish and high grade wagyu beef plus oyster cooked to perfection. The Onsens on the other hand are just Okay. However with the view of Fukuura island and its red bridge … nice.

Questo è un hotel sorprendentemente buono, soprattutto considerando il prezzo. È circa 5-7 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Sendai. Mi è stato impressionato dall'organo (sì, un vero organo!) nel lobby, insieme a un grande piano vicino. La stanza è spaziosa e l'hotel offre anche un spa, che è un vero plus per un hotel occidentale. La sera, c'è musica dal pianoforte in diretta nel lobby, accompagnata da bevande, noci e anche noodles gratis. Si può davvero sentire quanto difficile l'hotel cerca di fornire un servizio eccellente. Per il personale amichevole e committo, questo è un hotel che mi piacerebbe rimanere di nuovo la prossima volta che sono a Sendai.

Location is good just 10 minutes walk to Clis Road. Price is reasonable, and breakfast is good. There are Parking lots nearby, but a bit expensive. Trip described this hotel opened in 2023. But this is definitely not a new hotel, bathroom smell bad and cleanliness need improvment.

The hotel location is close to Matsushima sightseeing area, very convenient for taking Matsushima Shima-meguri Island Sightseeing Cruise as well as visiting Zuiganji Temple / Entsu-in Temple etc. The hotel restaurant offers delicious dinner and breakfast. The onsen is good. The room rate is also reasonable.

We went to Sendai for last three years and we stayed at this hotel for at least three to five days. Nevertheless, no loyalty credit has been given. We booked a room at the last date we left Sendai (ie 2-3 Dec) and lastly we changed our mind to stay tat this hotel for two more days (ie 30 Nov to 2 Dec). When we asked if we could stay at the same room from 30 Nov to 3 Dec but not staying at the corner room, the hotel replied either we had to upgrade the room we booked for 30 Nov to 2 Dec by paying extra JPY4,000 or downgrade the room we booked on 2-3 Dec. 「No refund」was offered for any downgrading, thus we had no choice but paying extra JPY4,000. When entered into the room, we saw some rubbish on the floor, we went down to the reception immediately, in the lift, one of receptionists was with us, we intended to tell her about the cleanliness of the room but she didn’t make any response, seemed that it was none of her business. We showed the vedio regarding the rubbish to the receptionist and asked to change the room. He replied no available room for the change and no helper could help us to clean the room. At last, the receptionist came up and pick up the rubbish. No offer to clean up the room next day but sticking to the hotel’s rules to clean the room every three days. We were very unsatisfied with the hotel services and concerned about the cleanliness of the hotel.

Upon arrival, there was no reception or greeting. Unfortunately, due to an issue with the reservation, the hotel did not show flexibility in resolving the matter, and the interaction felt unfriendly. As a result, the check-in experience was disappointing, and the hotel felt rather cold and unwelcoming.None of the front desk staff spoke English, which made communication very difficult. If the hotel does not intend to accommodate international travelers, it might be more appropriate not to list the property on international booking platforms.

Good size of the room with walkable distance to variety of shops and restaurants

L'hotel è situato in posizione strategica, proprio accanto alla stazione di Sendai. Nei dintorni della stazione si trovano numerosi ristoranti e grandi magazzini, rendendo molto agevole lo shopping e la ristorazione. Tornerò sicuramente in questo hotel la prossima volta che sarò a Sendai!
