Hotel a 4 stelle in Prefettura di Hiroshima, Giappone

Very grand hotel, dated in the age of build. Very clean bathroom and beds. Amazing, grand entrance way. Very close to sightseeing areas and local sighseening bus stops. Excellent view of the city. Lots of personal amenity provided (toothbrush etc). Access to gym/fitness centre is additional (substantial) costs. Lovely staff with excellent English.

The hotel’s facilities are excellent, and the location is very convenient. For the price, it offers great value. Most staff members were friendly and helpful, but the January 5th evening shift staff member was not friendly at all. On the night of January 5, this male staff member was quite unhelpful and rude. I had a package delivered to the hotel, and I had confirmed ahead of time that the hotel could receive it. When I asked about it, he said they hadn’t received any packages. I explained that the building’s address might be shared and that it could have been delivered to the neighboring property (this had happened before, and another staff member had kindly helped me retrieve it). However, he simply told me to contact the delivery company myself and walked away abruptly. Since I don’t speak Japanese, it was difficult for me to handle the issue alone. I chose a hotel with front desk service specifically for help in such situations. The next morning, I spoke to another staff member, who kindly said they would look into it. Later, they found the package, which indeed had been delivered to the neighboring building. That evening, I was finally able to collect it—but it had been opened. The staff apologized repeatedly, and I accepted their apology, but thinking back, it does raise some concern. The opened package contained over-the-counter medicine, and the box was clearly labeled as such. If there was any suspicion, I believe it would have been more appropriate to verify with the guest upon pickup or report it to the authorities, rather than open the package privately. Overall, the hotel’s hardware and location are excellent, and the staff are generally polite. I just hope that management can improve staff training and establish a better procedure for handling delivered packages to ensure a more professional experience in the future.

此次日本行住過的最好飯店。畢竟是G7廣島峯會的會議酒店，硬件設施和軟件服務都非常棒。廣島站到酒店有免費穿梭大巴，每天七次來回，絕對方便。從客房就可欣賞瀨户內海的日出日落。酒店的早餐太豐盛了，在23樓，邊吃早餐邊觀賞無敵海景。

È stato un soggiorno piacevole. Abbiamo prenotato una Junior Suite con onsen privato incluso. La camera non è enorme, ma ha tutto il necessario ed è abbastanza accogliente. Ci sono molti servizi (nella più pura tradizione alberghiera giapponese) e uno ”Yukata bar” dove puoi scegliere il tuo yukata preferito. Il vantaggio principale della camera è ovviamente l'onsen privato, una vera perla nascosta. Molto rilassante con una splendida vista sul mare. Il personale è stato molto disponibile con il lavandino intasato (è arrivato pochi minuti dopo la nostra chiamata). La cena era un buffet impressionante, con un'ampia scelta di pesce sia da cuocere (ostriche, abalone e altre conchiglie da grigliare erano fantastici) che crudo (ikura a volontà). Oltre a questo, c'era una postazione per la cottura a vista di bistecche, shabu shabu e sukiyaki. Un soggiorno decisamente consigliato!

Tutto era perfetto e ho dormito benissimo. Tuttavia, ho scoperto che la mia camera aveva purtroppo iniziato a mostrare i segni del tempo da tempo, e avrebbe dovuto essere ristrutturata da tempo. La colazione era molto varia per quello che ho sperimentato finora in Giappone, con una selezione davvero completa e una vista mozzafiato dal ristorante al 25° piano.

Ottima dimensione per un soggiorno in famiglia, ma la pulizia è un po' carente. Abbiamo soggiornato al Nest Hotel Hiroshima Ekimae durante il nostro recente viaggio e, nel complesso, è stata una scelta azzeccata. Un aspetto che ho apprezzato, e che si sposa con molte altre recensioni, è la posizione comoda dell'hotel, a pochi passi dalla stazione di Hiroshima, e il design moderno e compatto, perfetto per soggiorni brevi. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalle dimensioni della camera, soprattutto per essere in Giappone: era perfetta per me e i miei due figli. Avevamo abbastanza spazio per muoverci e dormire comodamente, cosa che può essere rara negli hotel di città. Detto questo, sono rimasto piuttosto deluso dalla mancanza di prese multiple e dalla pulizia, in particolare sotto il letto. Soffro di gravi allergie e, non appena mi sono sdraiato, ho iniziato a sentirle peggiorare. Più tardi, mi è caduto un auricolare e ho dovuto infilare la mano sotto il letto per recuperarlo; è stato allora che ho notato lo spesso strato di polvere e sporco nelle zone non immediatamente visibili. Decisamente non quello che mi aspetterei da un hotel di questo livello. Se intensificassero la pulizia (soprattutto nei punti nascosti), questo potrebbe facilmente essere un soggiorno da 4 o 5 stelle. Fino ad allora, direi che è una buona scelta per viaggi brevi, magari portando con sé qualche farmaco antiallergico se siete sensibili come me.

It is one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan within the similar price range and same facilities (without onsen/public bath). The room is spacious and there is a sky lounge and complimentary drinks for guests to enjoy every night. The staff also speak English which is a bonus for English speaking guests. The location is convenient and you can see the a bomb site from far from the hotel and walk to the shopping street.

Modern and clean hotel, located close to the electric train (trams) Reception is located on the top floor (14) lots of nice accessories available plus lovely snacks and coffee/tea through out the day, highly appreciated. Room was lovely, clean, has small window, but not an issue. Breakfast was standard, and staff were polite. Shops and restaurants on road, easy to walk to memorial park, about 15 minutes, 3 stops from main train station, easy to navigate to Miyajimaguchi island. Wonderful two days.

L'hotel è situato a buon punto vicino alla stazione Hiroshima, che è buono per pianificare viaggi di giorno. Ci è anche un negozio 7-11 e Lawson a terra. Le camere erano confortevolmente grandi per due persone e i letti erano confortevoli. In generale, un ottimo soggiorno e molto consigliato. Uno spazio per il miglioramento sarebbe considerare la fornitura di più/piumini per le letti - una piccola piugna potrebbe non essere a tutti piace. Inoltre, ho sentito che il personale di ricezione era un po' insensato quando hanno rifiutato la mia richiesta di acqua più bottiglia dopo aver finito le cose nella stanza...

We stayed here while passing through Hiroshima and were looking for something relatively close to the main tourist spots. In that sense, we made the right choice — the hotel’s location is good. The rooms are clean and more spacious than in the APA hotel chain, and you can open the window, which is also important. Although the hotel isn’t newly renovated, it doesn’t feel worn out or outdated. One downside — which may be a “minor quirky detail” for travelers not from Asia — is the very low placement of the mirror. If you’re 180–190 cm tall, it will be roughly at chest level. That said, it doesn’t affect a one-night stay at all; it’s just amusing. Keep in mind that check-in time, as is typical in Japan, is strict. You can arrive a bit early, leave your luggage, and go for a walk, but that’s about it. The breakfasts are very good, with a large and tasty selection. The staff are incredibly polite and welcoming. Overall, I’d rate it a solid 4/5.
