Room & Amenities We stayed at Hotel Art Debono in Corfu and overall had a pleasant stay. The rooms were spacious and had a cosy, home-like feel. Personally, I prefer a more modern style, but if you enjoy a homely atmosphere, the rooms are comfortable and inviting. Some of the furniture, particularly around the bathroom area, was beginning to show its age and could benefit from some refreshing. The room amenities were fairly good. A 1-litre bottle of water was provided, and pool towels were already placed in the wardrobe, which was convenient. There was an amenity kit and shower cap, although no toothbrushes were provided. The slippers were quite flimsy. The bathroom had several mini conditioner bottles, and the shower area contained a combined body and hair wash as well as a bottle labelled as body and hair moisturiser, which seemed like an unusual place to keep it. One thing I appreciated was the water quality. After washing my hair, it didn't feel dry or heavy like it often does in very hard water areas such as London. Bathroom The bathroom was functional and clean, although I wasn't particularly fond of the pebble flooring in the shower area. It wasn't uncomfortable, but I personally prefer a smoother floor surface. Breakfast Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. There was a very wide selection of both hot and cold items, including English-style breakfast options, fresh and dried fruits, honeycomb, smoothies, and a make-your-own herbal tea station. The quality was good, and there was plenty of variety to keep things interesting over several mornings. Facilities The hotel has a comfortable lounge area with a television, plenty of sofas, and tables where guests can relax with a drink or play some of the board games provided. The pool was a decent size for the hotel, with plenty of sunbeds available. We arrived at the pool around 3 pm after check-in and still had no problem finding space. There were also two shaded canopy beds near the jacuzzi pool which were free to use, although they faced directly towards the pool and surrounding sunbeds, so they offered shade rather than privacy. The pool bar was reasonably priced. By European standards, the prices were very fair and seemed typical for Corfu. We tried some food there and found it to be good and reasonably priced. There is no spa on site. Massage treatments are arranged through an external company, and therapists come to your room when booked through the hotel. Service The reception staff were friendly and always greeted us with a smile. They weren't particularly chatty, but they were pleasant and professional throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we were offered a welcome drink, and the lemonade was especially refreshing. It was also available during breakfast, which was a nice touch. On checkout, we were given a small farewell gift consisting of three jars of local honey, which was a thoughtful gesture and a lovely souvenir to take home. Location The hotel is in a relatively quiet area. It was around a 10-minute walk to the nearest supermarket and approximately 15 to 20 minutes on foot to restaurants and souvenir shops. The location suited us well as it was peaceful while still being within walking distance of amenities. Overall Hotel Art Debono provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. The excellent breakfast, pleasant pool area, thoughtful touches such as the welcome drink and farewell gift, and friendly staff all contributed to a positive experience. Some areas, particularly the ageing furniture and a few of the room details, could do with updating, but overall it was a comfortable hotel that offered good value and a peaceful atmosphere.

Sfortunatamente, non c'è stato molto da apprezzare in questo hotel. Posso dire che la piscina era incantevole e perfetta per rilassarsi. La nostra esperienza è stata estremamente negativa. È stato deludente non trovare nessuno ad accoglierti. Entrando alla reception, sono rimasto lì per ben 5 minuti mentre il personale continuava a conversare tra loro. Una di loro ha detto in greco 'guarda, sta aspettando una stanza' e l'altra ha risposto 'lasciala aspettare un minuto'. Non si sono rese conto che anch'io ero greca. Mi hanno scambiata per una persona che non conosceva la lingua. Una volta che finalmente mi ha raggiunto, ci ha dato una stanza che non avevamo prenotato. Stavamo guardando gli alberi invece di avere una vista sulla piscina. Avevamo pagato la colazione per due solo per sentirci dire che solo uno poteva farla. Volevano più soldi per questo. È l'unico hotel a 4 stelle che non ha un conto per la camera. Ti fanno pagare sul momento. La cena era troppo cara e ci hanno frettolosamente mandati via. Quindi non abbiamo potuto goderci nulla. Appena ho preso l'ultima cosa, senza nemmeno aver finito il mio drink, il cameriere ha detto 'scusi ma deve pagare e andarsene'. La direzione dovrebbe far partecipare il personale a un programma di formazione sull'accoglienza e su come trattare gli ospiti. Quando eravamo in piscina, un membro del personale stava imprecando contro un gruppo di giovani ragazze che avevano appena finito il pranzo. Le chiamava 'inutili stro*ze' e 'turiste di mer*a'. Ancora una volta, è stato disgustoso sentirlo. Se avessimo potuto andarcene il primo giorno, lo avremmo fatto. Nessun servizio in camera era disponibile per noi poiché il telefono nella nostra stanza non funzionava (eravamo nella 403). La stanza era molto rumorosa a causa degli aerei che decollavano e atterravano fino all'una di notte. Se state pensando di prenotare questo hotel, fatevi un favore e cercate qualcos'altro.

I stayed at Sun Resort for a friend's wedding on Cameo Island, and it proved to be the perfect location. The island was only around a 10-minute walk away, which made getting to and from the wedding very easy. One of the things we particularly liked was that the resort was away from the busy strip, providing a more relaxed atmosphere, while still being only a short taxi ride away if you wanted to visit the nightlife and local attractions. Our room was clean and tidy, and the resort overall was well maintained. The food selection included in the all-inclusive package was varied, with plenty of options available throughout our stay. While the food was good, it was not quite the best we have experienced at an all-inclusive resort. The only thing we felt was missing was some form of evening entertainment at the resort. Aside from that, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend it as a good place to stay, especially for anyone attending an event or wedding on Cameo Island.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly, which made our visit particularly pleasant. All our wishes were fulfilled quickly and without any hassle. The rooms are very modern and equipped with everything you need. We were impressed by the high quality of the furnishings and the cleanliness. The dining options are top-notch. The food was always of the highest standard, both in taste and presentation. The hotel facilities are also excellently maintained. The gardens, loungers, and pools are in pristine condition and invite you to relax. While there is no direct access to the sea, the hotel offers plenty of free parking, allowing you to reach the island’s most beautiful beaches in just a few minutes. We can highly recommend this hotel and are already looking forward to our next stay.

Here’s a polished, natural review: We had a wonderful stay here. The location is excellent, just a 5–10 minute walk to the town, with plenty of great restaurants, bars, and nightlife nearby. The property also has a fantastic private parking facility, which made things very convenient. A special mention to Maria Ioli Zyga at reception, who was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. She kindly arranged both an early check-in and a late check-out for us, which we really appreciated. Her friendly and helpful attitude made our stay even better. While the property doesn’t offer scenic views, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Combined with the great location and outstanding service, it was an excellent place to stay. We would definitely recommend it.

Un primo arresto perfetto in Kefalonia. È come un resort di lama in Thailandia in Grecia. Siamo arrivati prima di mattina dopo una notte, quasi senza sonno, e siamo arrivati molto prima dell'arrivo. Il personale ci ha lasciato cadere i bagagli e usare la piscina immediatamente esattamente quello che avevamo bisogno dopo quel volo. Piccolo, tranquillo e genuino rilassante. La posizione a Lass è ideale: a piedi di taverne e ristoranti, e a pochi minuti dalle spiagge di Makris Gialos e Platis Gialos. Argostoli, Katavathres e l'illuminazione sono a circa dieci minuti di auto. Una base per i primi giorni di un viaggio intorno al fiume.

Staff were excellent, friendly, polite, always willing to help and guide. Big shout out to Evelyn - fountain of knowledge! Breakfast plentiful , regularly topped up. Only downside was occasional ‘ greedy’ guest who thought it ok to load plates . Pool was superb, pool bar was never rammed so seating plentiful. Always choice of sun beds. Parking is opposite hotel - if coming from Skala it is on right hand side ( sharp turn down slope). Great value for money . We had sea view room which was spacious, always cleaned . Decent size balcony . Recommendation - all guests to be shown pool rules including no diving and don’t take drinks glasses to your sunbed

The location is more than an hour drive from the airport unless you have a chauffeur or coach service booked. The room were nice and comfy but we were attacked by ants in our room which I guess is a common problem in the island. On our check out day, there was a national electricity breakdown at 8 am and the hotel staff wouldn't help by extending our checkout time by an hour. The electricity was restored at 12 pm but we were forced to empty the room at 11 am sharp. Overall, good activities at the resort and just across is a nice beach but you have to exit the resort to get to the sandy beach.
