L'hotel è a buon mercato, è uno dei suoi punti più forti. La nostra prima stanza era molto fredda, con metà delle luci non funzionanti e un fulmine libero nel bagno, suggerendo una mancanza di manutenzione adeguata. Tuttavia, è diventato chiaro che non siamo gli unici che hanno sperimentato questo problema altri ospiti hanno anche cambiato le loro camere a causa delle temperature fredde. Sembra che, dato che l'hotel è così grande, il personale potrebbe non avere il tempo di controllare i sistemi di riscaldamento in tutte le camere. Il letto, pur lavato, aveva tinture visibili su alcune foglie, che si detraevano dall'impressione generale di pulizia. Aggiungendo alla disorganizzazione, il personale di pulizia lavorava a ore molto insolite. Quando siamo tornati da cena dopo le 10, la pulizia della stanza era ancora in corso, che era inaspettata. Un altro problema frustrante è stato il fatto che uno dei pulsanti dell'ascensore (per scendere) non funzionava, e non era stato posto alcun segno o segnale per informare gli ospiti, aggiungendo inconvenienti inutili e sottolineando ulteriormente la mancanza di attenzione ai dettagli. In generale, mentre la posizione e la pulizia di base sono positive, l'hotel soffrisce di importanti problemi di manutenzione, riscaldamento incoerente, mancanza di servizi di base come le cucine extra, programmi di pulizia insoliti, e ignorati problemi come i pulsanti rotti dell'ascensore.

Really great stay and perfect for the price. Great location extremely central and the staff were lovely and the sausages at breakfast was excellent. Would really love to know what bedding they use so I can buy my own because wow!!

I was a little hesitant to book this hotel with it being on a service station- how wrong I was. Absolute gem of a place, hotel room was lovely, quiet and clean. Free parking and a 15 minute drive into Leeds. Next door in the service station there is Starbucks, Leon, pizza express, Nando’s, Greggs, M&S etc. will definitely stay again.

Non posso non deviare la posizione, molto conveniente collegamento autostradale a Leeds solo un breve viaggio da Wakefield. La colazione è davvero buona, ben cucinata e facilmente riempita. Tuttavia, le tavole non erano state pulite, e non sembrava ci fosse nessun personale intorno a farlo. I letti e le tovalette erano puliti, ma i mattoni avevano bisogno di un buon shampoo, e il pavimento della doccia aveva i capelli su di esso.

Good location next to train station - due to ongoing building works at the train station it’s easiest/quicker to get to the hotel near the entry/exit closest to platform 16 (I ply found this out after walking the long way around 🤦♀️). La camera rigenerata era bella.Il bagno era piccolo.Volevo andare a doccia la prossima volta.La temperatura era troppo calda, ma il personale ha fornito un ventilatore su richiesta. Letto matrimoniale per un viaggiatore solitario. Non sarebbe stato troppo comodo per due. Nessuna radio in camera o in TV che sarebbe stata bello. Roba, mutandine, impianti per la fabbricazione di tè/caffee, ferro e capelli frigo forniti. Colazione - buona selezione per le opzioni di colazione calda e fredda. Sarebbe bello avere un caffè migliore. La zona di lobby recentemente ristrutturata era bella. L'odore del profumo si è svolta in camera da colazione e a volte era un po' eccessivamente potente. Ciò significa che l'ingresso del pavimento non puzza bene (si la caverà) perciò vedo perché è necessario. La zona di lobby/bar recentemente ristrutturata è bella. Il personale era benvenuto e utile. In generale, avevo un piacevole soggiorno e sarei qui di nuovo come un solo viaggiatore. Se viaggiassi con un altro adulto, avremmo bisogno di un letto più grande per garantire un riposo/dormo più confortevole, quindi si sarebbe potuto bisogno di un upgrade o di una seconda camera.

Depending on exit, it could be a 5 to 10 minute walk from the station at a leisurely pace. Upon arriving check-in was simple easy and the staff were incredibly friendly. They were informative. Let me know if I wanted a breakfast option pricing and where the location of the breakfast would be to inform me of when certain exits would be open and what time until. The room. I can’t lie I was pleasantly surprised, it’s been awhile since I stayed in a Novotel room. Not a huge egg, but I always find it weird when the toilet is separate from the bathroom but that’s no biggie. The bed was generous in size with a firm mattress and a soft topper. It felt like a two season duvet and the pillows were a little too soft for me but doubling up solve that problem. The shower/bath had an overhead shower function as well as a traditional showerhead, which made the end of my showering journey so much more pleasant. Amenities include included huge TV, a decent desk and a comfy chair , a sofa that could could turn into a bed, but the one thing that I valued the most was a little mini fridge located underneath the tea and coffee area. In the hotel, is the soap factory bar, a very comfy sofa centric bar and cocktail lounge great to get a good drink and a bit of pub style food. Additionally, is a restaurant that will serve the morning breakfast  and a believe lunch as well. POI, through the bar towards the Whitehall Road exit is a couple of shops that are worth knowing, a Greggs, Tesco express and a Marks & Spencer’s food hall are all located across the road. To add, taking a lift out the exit and a two minute distance away is a Sainsbury’s local which has a handy cashpoint if needed. I generally checked out thinking this might be my hotel of choice when coming back to Leeds.

The room was nice and I loved the food at their restaurant. The only issue was their flush, they said they did some new plumbing and since then the flush needed an extra push, which in general were difficult and if you have longer nails it's extra difficult.

Double tree is Uk always good. This Double teal hotel meets its standards and it is surrounded with restaurants and steps aways from train station if u exit the train station from the South Gate on second floor of train station

Very good swimming pool…warm water If you don’t have swimming costumes, you can simply buy there! 15 min driving to Leeds city centre. Reasonable price

Se avessi una ragazza fuori di notte a Leeds, l'hotel è proprio l'opposto della stazione ferroviaria, perché il mio amico sta prendendo il treno per arrivare a Leeds. L'hotel è molto centrale, ma non c'è parcheggio. La camera è decente dimensione.

Beauitful hotel, very clean. The room was big and clean. The facilities provided are everything you can ask for. Brilliant location very central to city centre. Excellent location to train station. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and polite. Breakfast was very tasty. Lots of selection from conitendal to hot food. Would highly recommend paying the extra to stay at The Queens.

Great option if you want a kitchen and plenty of room space. Comfy bed, clean bathroom. Breakfast was a plain croissant and hot drink options . Fresh and tasty. On street parking was minimal but free after 1830hrs on Saturday until Monday morning. Car park for hotel was full by 18hrs Saturday. By train it was a 20ish walk from the station. Taxi ＜5mins. £5 1 elevator Window can be opened a jar for fresh air. Slippers would make your stay a bit cosier. Location was by student housing and you could walk into town. A few pubs on route broke the journey down. Would come back again.

La stanza era molto confortevole e aveva tutto ciò che era necessario da asciugacapelli, ferro, molte socche di plug. L’unica colpa era la plug in bacino che si fermò nel buco. La colazione era bella, non sbrigata e aiutatevi a fare qualcosa dal buffet - caldo o freddo. Grande parcheggio auto gratuito.

Era un bel hotel, buon valore considerando che era davvero un posto molto po', il letto era bello e confortevole e il posto era più tranquillo, il personale era amichevole e utile, la posizione era ideale per me perché stava correndo Mactuff Veramente Muddy West Yorkshire in mattinata che si trovava lungo la strada a Parkwood Outdoors

Excellent hotel the staff were helpful and attentive. Very clean room with air conditioning which was needed as it was a very hot day, with tea making facilities and even biscuits as a kind gesture. Would recommend staying here and will no doubt book in again. Bar had a range of beers and a good selection of draughts as well as spirits available to choose from. There was ample parking round the back of the hotel. Just don't forget to put your vehicle registration at check in. All in all a good stay.

All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly during my stay which added to the experience. The hotel is truly lovely and the setting is beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and the views from the rooms and bar were amazing but it’s the high level of customer service that makes me want to return and recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Wakefield.
