Clean hotel with open-air onsen. Breakfast with a great view of the autumn foliage, even spotted monkeys! Enjoyable relaxing stay. Lobby also has free drinking lounge, superb!! 👍🏼😊 Free shuttle service to Tobu-Nikko station.

The hotel overall is great for the price paid, and service was excellent especially from the Vietnamese girl at the front desk who speaks English AND Japanese fluently. Even Japanese guests thought she was Jap. Haha. However, the company could do with hiring a bit more staff as there are things that need a bit more attention and some repairs needed in the room. That being said, the rooms are huge! The outdoor onsen was also colder than expected (although this is explained during check in) and is best in the morning.

La camera era spaziosa, il letto era confortevole e la vista era grande. Il servizio gratuito di cocktail e caffè nel lobby era bello, così come il bar gratis (compresa una birra per persona) vicino all'ingresso alla primavera calda. Il servizio di massaggio pagato era anche buono. I pasti erano decenti, soprattutto il carnetolo grigliato, che si scioglieva semplicemente nella mia bocca. Il personale del ristorante ci ha accolti caldamente e ha fornito un servizio amichevole. Cons: mancava la varietà di fonti calde, e la vista dalle fonti calde era quasi bloccata, il che era deludente. I serrature per i preziosi utenti usavano dial combination, e gli ospiti stranieri spesso non sapevano come usarli, chiudendo le chiavi della stanza dentro e lottando per riaprirle. Dovrebbero passare a un sistema di chiavi e braccialetti come altri hotel di merda. La stanza stessa si sentiva come una vecchia casa, una volta grande, che aveva visto giorni migliori, i mobili avevano molti spazzi, le superfici erano indossate e pellicciate, e mi faceva pensare che in passato fosse stato impressionante. La stanza era comunque più spaziosa rispetto ad altri hotel.

Valore per soldi, camera pulita e lavanderia con bagno. Il colazione in hotel è bello e ricco, molte scelte a buffet, sede decente. La posizione è grande per i viaggiatori non guidare. Il bagno pubblico sul tetto ha una vista splendida e un'atmosfera, ma l'acqua non è abbastanza calda. Anche l'hotel non ha un parco auto, ma vi sono molti parchi auto che pagano l'ora.

Il servizio è stato eccellente. Dall'arrivo alla partenza, ogni membro dello staff che abbiamo incontrato è stato estremamente professionale, entusiasta e disponibile. Beh, forse la nostra camera non era l'ideale: è stata la notte più costosa del viaggio. Purtroppo, la camera era un po' scomoda e emanava un cattivo odore. Il personale ha preso la cosa molto sul serio e ha risolto il problema. La signora del ristorante è stata molto premurosa. Non abbiamo dovuto fare la fila per pranzo, ed eravamo preoccupati di mangiare in hotel dopo aver fatto la spesa. Ha preso l'iniziativa di accontentarci, rendendo il nostro viaggio molto più comodo. Grazie. La posizione è fantastica, a pochi passi da due santuari e un tempio, e il panorama è mozzafiato. I trasporti sono comodi, ma purtroppo Ctrip non offre prenotazioni per colazione e cena, rendendo la cena un vero problema. È meglio prenotare colazione e cena, e la camera potrebbe essere migliore. Ci vediamo l'anno prossimo per vedere i ciliegi in fiore e la neve. Resteremo ancora qualche giorno. Le sorgenti termali sono fantastiche! Stasera alloggeremo a Kinugawa. Tatami, colazione e cena, e le sorgenti termali sono ancora meglio. Mi sono divertito moltissimo.

This hotel is recommended. Great buffets with variety of options (japanese, western, tempura, wagyu). Fruit taste was not as good as we expected though and you might not feel excited much about the food after a couple days as they’re pretty much the same. Wonderful public baht with generous amenities provided. Pajama is not needed if you enjoy wearing yukata and sock when sleeping at night as we did. Staff were also friendly. We had a great time overall.

The hotel is great! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with many facilities like karaoke, a game center, and more. I visited with my family, a total of 14 people, and they were able to arrange a private room for us for both dinner and breakfast. Both meals were buffet-style and absolutely delicious. The onsen experience was wonderful, and the view from the onsen was fantastic, with a beautiful view of the Kinugawa River. However, there was one issue: when we checked in, the reception took our passports for photocopying. Unfortunately, they missed returning one of the passports to us. It wasn’t until after we checked out and reached our next stop that we realized one passport was missing. We had to go back to the hotel to take it. Despite this, the overall experience was great, and I would still recommend the hotel.

A premium hotel & hotspring in kinugagawa onsen,this hotel also is famous all over japan, because of superb hotspring creation made by a big rock,very new & romantic interior design especially in the lobby,w/ an luxurios chandelier,the outside view is amazing,the famous fureai bridge in kinugawa & river is in the front ,very nice autumn view outside,the room is big,but don't have a telephone & dresser,the food is superb but if you want to drink alcohol,you need to reserve from the front desk during check-in.Intagramable view inside & outside,but don't go here by walking with baggage because of the high stairs in fureai bridge,there's a shuttle bus but you need to pay 300yen.Overall,you can feel the scenic views even you don't go outside,Thanks always Trip.com for very nice booking,more power & God bless always

My first time visit to Japan and I was after an authentic Japanese accommodation. I booked a Japanese Style room with futon beds which were very comfortable. The room was beautiful and very clean. My booking also included breakfast and dinner which were always outstanding, beautifully prepared and unique food items. They utilized farm to table dining and the women explained each item served. They provided and encouraged one to wear Kimonos’s /tabi socks / slippers during one’s stay at, “ Nikko Iwaiyado Juyan “. Which further contributed to the authentic Japanese vibe. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs were amazing. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The hotel is nestled within mountains and the setting serene. Hotel is family owned and they take pride in caring for their guests.

Excellent staff, location and facilities. We enjoyed the food and the private hot tub on our balcony. All of the staff were very friendly, and went above and beyond with any request. Just avoid getting a massage. The masseuse was horrible. She had my wife keep her robe on and then covered her with towels before roughly rubbing her. She ended up with rug burns on her feet and a kinked neck. If you can avoid that disaster you will have a wonderful time here.
