UUtente ospiteThe hotel is generally good and the staff are attentive, but we would suggest avoiding the restaurant.
The hotel doesn't warrant a 4* with areas showing wear and tear such as water-damaged wood, mouldy seal in the bathroom, broken window locks, etc.
Our room was not ready when we arrived, so we were given a drinks voucher. After being advised our room was ready, we arrived at the room to find the maid still cleaning the room. The room included basic tea and coffee facilities and toiletries.
The pool/spa is limited and has a cold pool, a steam room, a sauna, and a gym.
We had booked into the restaurant for an evening meal, but when we arrived there was a table complaining about the food. They had sent their food back to the kitchen twice, and the staff were suggesting they send it back again. They walked out of the restaurant. Based on this, we thought we would order something that was pretty safe, so we ordered a burger and a chicken. However, the meat tasted cheap and of poor quality. The restaurant is charging gastro prices, but the quality is nothing better than Wetherspoons or worse. Again, the puddings were basic, with a vegan coconut ice cream that had an odd texture to it and a sticky toffee pudding that was no better than a cheap microwave pud. In our opinion, the staff were inappropriately dressed, with one waitress having such a short skirt that every time she moved you got to see more than you wanted. The bar staff were assisting in the restaurant, and one barman was dressed in hip-style jeans, which kept falling down. Although all very attentive and polite, it seemed that the hotel as a whole had very limited staff, with everyone just mucking in.
The breakfast was not much better than our evening meal. We arrived at 9.30am to find the milk, pastries, hot water, etc. had run dry. There was a selection of hot food, but once again the meat tasted cheap. The main waitress was incredibly young and either didn't communicate or spoke so incredibly quietly that you could not hear what she said.
At check out, we were not asked how our stay had been, and we felt that everything was done to avoid such communication.

For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did.
On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us.
We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did!

On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!

Il problema era la stanza specifica che ci fu data. La stanza 109 (e presumo che molte altre stanze siano sul primo piano) è proprio sopra il bar. Entrambi i nostri giorni erano stati disturbati dal rumore. Il giovedì, la musica in diretta era molto alta dalle 8 alle 10:00. Essendo direttamente al di sopra del bar, la musica era incredibilmente disturbante! Il venerdì, la musica cominciò alle 10:00. In realtà ho chiamato la ricezione alle 11:30, perché la musica non era finita. Erano molto scusati e dissero di aver smesso di fare la musica subito (come hanno fatto), come avrebbe dovuto smettere alle 11:00. Mentre apprezzo quanto sia stato risolto il problema una volta che mi sono lamentato, è povero che l'hotel permette di suonare musica alta fino a un momento così tardi. Apprezzo che fosse venerdì sera, ma lavoravo il giorno dopo, e il rumore entrambe le notti mi ha davvero disturbato il sonno. L'unità ventilatore/caldatrice era così forte che non potevamo usarlo. Avrei avuto un sconto in camera, ma sarei stato incredibilmente deluso se avessi pagato il prezzo pieno.

YYuanI came to stay as I needed to attend a meeting in the Birmingham Business Park the next day morning. The B&B was on the edge of the Coleshill. It was an okay stay, and just about okay. I won't be against staying there again, but there is nothing special to lure me back either.
Plus: James ware expecting me when I arrived and showed me the key and the room. He also took my order for the next morning. The room was of decent size. There are lots of lights in the room. The bed was okay. There is on site parking space. The breakfast was ready when I walked down to the dining room.
Minus: At £148 a nigh this was certainly not good value for money. The facility was a bit basic, albeit adequate (tea/coffee/kettle/biscuits and hair dryer). There was one bottle for hair/body wash and there was a small soap in the bathroom. Bathroom is just about of adequate size for one person. The water temperate varied a bit while on show, but workable.
Also my room was on 2nd floor, with narrow steep stairs. It was okay for me as I traveled very light. But it would be tricky for someone with big luggage or mobility restraint.

Il pranzo del ristorante Trevellyn era inaspettato, perché eravamo vegetariano e il pasto vegetariano preparato dal cuoco era fantastico. Era un fine settimana caldo durante il nostro soggiorno, e anche se non c'era aria condizionata, un piccolo fan fu fornito che faceva una piccola differenza quando dormiva la notte; i giardini avevano bisogno di un po' di mantenimento e sarebbe stato bello se le fontane fossero state lavorando. In generale, ci siamo divertiti e ci siamo impegnati a tornare dopo che è passato attraverso alcuni rinnovamento e riqualificazione.

DDawnieNella campagna di Stratford, in un bellissimo edificio a raggi di legno. La stanza era buia ma spaziosa. Avevamo la stanza familiare con una doppia e due singole. È stato incluso il colazione. Non ci sono menù, ma il cameriere ha detto una combinazione di colazione inglese che era grande. Ho avuto due uova di polpa. L'unico problema era la mancanza di comunicazione sulla strada abituale per trovare l'hotel chiuso a causa di lavori stradali. Navigare un sistema di un modo in una città non familiare senza email o chiamata per farci sapere come arrivare all'hotel è stato estremamente stressante e ci mette 1.5 ore dietro il calendario di arrivo. Questo avrebbe potuto essere ordinato se l'hotel avesse contattato trip.com con la linea terrestre fornita alla prenotazione e spiegato sulle opere stradali in modo da poter essere avvertito.

VVickieIl soggiorno è fantastico per visitare le vicinanze e l'hotel è un bel edificio storico. Il moderno bagno era bello da usare, ma abbiamo trovato la stanza molto di base e poteva fare con un rinfrescato e molto deluso che non ci fosse nessuna struttura per la produzione di bevande calde nella stanza.
Abbiamo fatto il colazione inclusi nel nostro prezzo della stanza e siamo stati molto delusi - tutto nuotando in grasso e il pudding nero e la patata rosti erano molto troppo cucinati, così non potevamo finire il nostro pasto.
Il parcheggio è di 7 sterline per notte di soggiorno, ma non è stato informato in anticipo.
Probabilmente rimarremmo qui, ma saremmo in una stanza nella parte antica dell'edificio e non avremmo colazione cucinata.

UUtente ospiteLa stanza era molto grande, proprio nel centro di Stratford e ideale per una visita al teatro. La stanza era piccola e molto di base, ma era pulita con letti confortevoli così bello per la notte. La comunicazione del personale era grande - non un parcheggio in loco, ma una chiara spiegazione di dove si trovava il parcheggio più vicino (molto vicino) e come ottenere il miglior prezzo. Molto utile personale. Non ho usato la zona del bar, quindi non posso commentare il cibo o il drink, ma è stato benvenuto e c'è stato un piacevole spazio esterno. In generale, un buon valore per il prezzo e rimarrebbe certamente lì di nuovo.

UUtente ospiteAbbiamo fatto un salto e mi sono ricreato mio figlio e mia figlia, dopo che avevano appena finito le loro prove.Abbiamo avuto il cane e la nostra stanza era buona nel modo in cui la porta si apriva in una grande area verde e tu potevi sederti fuori. Era occupato in mattinata, mentre c'era un promenadino e un'altra funzione, e il servizio era lento nel ristorante. Ho parlato con l'autorità di vigilanza al ricevimento e ho spiegato le questioni che abbiamo avuto e che non poteva essere più utile - ci sono state offerte bevande e pranzo come un grande gesto, e saremmo sicuramente tornati.
