For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did.
On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us.
We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did!

On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!

Purtroppo la stanza come segnali sul pavimento, nessuna socket di plug ha dovuto chiedere un filo di estensione per caricare i nostri dispositivi vicino al nostro letto, ma in generale è stata una splendida esperienza e il cibo e la colazione erano così bello. UUtente ospiteStaff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was good, though there are meat alternatives for vegetarians if that is important to you. The room itself was quite nice.
The problem was the specific room we were given. Room 109 (and I assume many of the other rooms on the first floor) is right above the bar. Both nights we were disrupted by noises. On the Thursday, live music was playing very loudly from 8pm until past 10pm. Being directly above the bar, the music was incredibly disruptive! On Friday, music began at 10pm. I actually called reception at 11:30pm as the music hadn't stopped. They were very apologetic and said they would get the music turned off straight away (which they did), as it should have turned off at 11pm. While I appreciate how quickly the issue was resolved once I complained, it's poor that the hotel allows loud music to play until such a late time. I appreciate it was a Friday night, but I was working the next day, and the noise both nights really disrupted my sleep. The fan/heating unit was also so loud that we could not use it. I had a discount on the room, but I would have been incredibly disappointed if I had paid full price.

YYuanI came to stay as I needed to attend a meeting in the Birmingham Business Park the next day morning. The B&B was on the edge of the Coleshill. It was an okay stay, and just about okay. I won't be against staying there again, but there is nothing special to lure me back either.
Plus: James ware expecting me when I arrived and showed me the key and the room. He also took my order for the next morning. The room was of decent size. There are lots of lights in the room. The bed was okay. There is on site parking space. The breakfast was ready when I walked down to the dining room.
Minus: At £148 a nigh this was certainly not good value for money. The facility was a bit basic, albeit adequate (tea/coffee/kettle/biscuits and hair dryer). There was one bottle for hair/body wash and there was a small soap in the bathroom. Bathroom is just about of adequate size for one person. The water temperate varied a bit while on show, but workable.
Also my room was on 2nd floor, with narrow steep stairs. It was okay for me as I traveled very light. But it would be tricky for someone with big luggage or mobility restraint.

UUtente ospiteThis venue was stunning, a beautiful quiet location to catch your breath or walk into Stratford-upon-Avon to enjoy the architecture and see the history.
Wish we could have spent more time there, and we would certainly plan to return and explore further.
Very clean, tidy, and spacious accommodation.
Fittings within the room and in the hotel were excellent. Linen and towels were of superb quality.
The service was excellent throughout, and all the staff were extremely polite and helpful.

VVickieIl soggiorno è fantastico per visitare le vicinanze e l'hotel è un bel edificio storico. Il moderno bagno era bello da usare, ma abbiamo trovato la stanza molto di base e poteva fare con un rinfrescato e molto deluso che non ci fosse nessuna struttura per la produzione di bevande calde nella stanza.
Abbiamo fatto il colazione inclusi nel nostro prezzo della stanza e siamo stati molto delusi - tutto nuotando in grasso e il pudding nero e la patata rosti erano molto troppo cucinati, così non potevamo finire il nostro pasto.
Il parcheggio è di 7 sterline per notte di soggiorno, ma non è stato informato in anticipo.
Probabilmente rimarremmo qui, ma saremmo in una stanza nella parte antica dell'edificio e non avremmo colazione cucinata.

UUtente ospiteLa stanza era molto grande, proprio nel centro di Stratford e ideale per una visita al teatro. La stanza era piccola e molto di base, ma era pulita con letti confortevoli così bello per la notte. La comunicazione del personale era grande - non un parcheggio in loco, ma una chiara spiegazione di dove si trovava il parcheggio più vicino (molto vicino) e come ottenere il miglior prezzo. Molto utile personale. Non ho usato la zona del bar, quindi non posso commentare il cibo o il drink, ma è stato benvenuto e c'è stato un piacevole spazio esterno. In generale, un buon valore per il prezzo e rimarrebbe certamente lì di nuovo.

LLAUThe hotel is really nice but the only problem was no lift as we had a few suitcase . No bell service and we had to carry our heavy luggages up one floor. Quite a problem for old people. Breakfast was nice but pricey, weather was good and so having breakfast outdoors is a pleasure.

UUtente ospiteWe booked two rooms for a 2-night family stay —a family Suite and a Classic Room. The hotel’s amenities and location were excellent, with plenty of eateries nearby. My son was unwell during the trip and it’s really comforting that the stay was great for him to rest and recover.
We had dinner in the hotel and the food was amazing!
The breakfast served was also good, we like the hot dishes that we chose English breakfast, scrambled eggs and salmon 👍!
Very cosy, comfortable and pleasant experience!

Friendly, helpful staff; useful car park at the hotel and discount for hotel residents.
Very comfortable bed; good shower. Hotel could be described as old fashioned and a bit tired but that’s part of the charm.
Would stay again with a deal!!
