We really enjoyed our stay at Zana Lake Resort. The views of Udai Sagar Lake from the room were simply breathtaking. we honestly couldn’t take our eyes off it. The whole property has a very peaceful vibe, beautifully designed and well-maintained. The restaurant is fully vegetarian. We opted for à la carte and tried Paneer Tikka Masala for lunch and Gutta Curry for dinner — both were average. Breakfast, however, was much better with good options. The swimming pool is very clean and well-kept, and just like the rooms, it offers stunning views of the lake. Their garden is also very pretty and nicely maintained. Rooms are spacious, clean, and come with almost all amenities. A hair dryer is available on request. Overall, it’s a beautiful place to relax and soak in the lake views.

Abbiamo scelto Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur per celebrare il nostro anniversario, ma l'esperienza è risultata deludente. Prima di arrivare, avevamo scritto per posta elettronica chiedendo un aggiornamento complimentare (solo se possibile) e condividendo che era il nostro compleanno. L'hotel ci ha assicurato di fare il meglio, menzionando che decorerebbero la stanza e organizzare una torta. Ma non c'era niente di preparato all'arrivo, e poi, la sera, un membro del personale venne a chiedere quando andremmo fuori per farli decorare la stanza. Abbiamo adeguato i nostri piani e ne abbiamo dato tempo, sperando che questo rendesse l'occasione speciale per mia moglie e mio figlio; purtroppo, anche dopo, non è stato fatto alcun accordo e non c'è torta come promesso nel messaggio di posta elettronica. La posizione è molto lontana dalla città principale, rendendola meno conveniente. La proprietà non si è sentita molto fotogenica come previsto. La qualità dei cibi era media con varietà limitata.Durante il colazione, il personale del ristorante era in gran parte inattiva nessuno ci ha controllato o chiesto se il nostro bambino aveva bisogno di qualcosa. L'unica eccezione era il signor Gulshan e una donna che ha avuto un aiuto durante il pranzo. Prima di questo, ci siamo trasferiti per tre giorni a Trident Udaipur, dove il servizio e la qualità alimentare erano eccellenti, che hanno reso questa esperienza ancora più deludente rispetto a quella che è stata. We stayed 2 nights here, me and my 2 older teenage daughter and son. The room was big enough. Amenities were the usual for this type of property. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Christmas buffet was wonderful! Normal dinner buffet was so so. I would suggest to have more non Indian options (we like Indian food but the spice in it can be too much when you’re travelling in India for a long time…). Overall experience was quite nice, would recommend and repeat.

La bella cultura mostra ogni giorno, la sera, con diversi strumenti di gente locale. Camere e lobby con tetti alti e veramente un senso di palazzo. Molto convenientemente situato nel centro della città. Ottimo servizio. Varieta/qualità/presentazione degli alimenti anche molto buona.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful - it’s a nineteenth century mansion, elegantly restored in a calm setting with lots of courtyards and flowers. The pool area is also lovely. We visited with our four children and had two adjoining rooms which were very nicely decorated and spacious. You can walk out of the hotel to a local area which is busy and interesting. We walked to the flower market (20 mins) first thing in the morning and it was amazing to see all the flowers. The hotel offers to accompany the walk for £25 per person, which we thought was a bit excessive. We arranged for a guide to show us around the key sights - we did this through the hotel for approximately £50 for five hours and it was good. There are lots of extras offered on a board in the hotel - the walk, yoga and other activities, but be aware that these are extra costs, as is the welcome drink and rooftop happy hour. The staff were decent and the restaurant produces wonderful breakfasts, as well as other meals both Indian and western if you want them. A very enjoyable experience - we recommend highly.
