GGillyBUn grande hotel in una buona posizione per i visitatori a Sheffield. Il vantaggio di rimanere un po 'di fuori dal centro della città per parcheggio gratuito e una posizione tranquilla. Le camere sono pulite, spaziose e tranquille in bellissime aree. Abbiamo 4 camere con la nostra festa che sono state prenotate a un prezzo ragionevole e 2 sono state migliorate all'arrivo, che è stato un bonus. Il personale era amichevole e accogliente soprattutto la signora alla ricezione.

RRobertWe were upgraded to a Race course view room … which was an amazing view. Especially watching the sun rise over the course. Very friendly staff & hotel was perfect in every way.I don’t often write reviews but I Highly recommend this hotel. Sadly we had to leave before breakfast!!

MMengskyI wouldn't consider this a good stay, as I encountered several issues. First, the check-in process was a hassle since this hotel doesn't have a front desk. I spent hours calling the hotel, facing either ”Line busy” or no response after a long wait. If it wasn’t for Trip.com's customer service finally connecting with the hotel, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Second, the wooden door in my room was difficult to close; it required a hard push and made a loud ”bang.” The glass sliding door of the shower room was also problematic, it fell out on my first pull, and I'm certainly not strong enough to break a door with just one pull. Lastly, and most frustratingly, was the toilet paper situation. It was my first time encountering a toilet without a single roll of paper. I can't imagine what I would be if I hadn't brought my own in my bag that day. On a positive note, the room was well-equipped with a fridge, oven, heater, toaster, and even an iron, which suggests the hotel might have been quite good when the things are all good a few years ago, but not now.

UUtente ospiteGreat location for city centre though no parking, entrance lobby and bar area very presentable. Staff spoken to came across as friendly and approachable. Only 1 lift working. Never saw the spa area to comment.
Room spacious, bathroom with bath and shower separate - shower very good rain fall. A mini fridge is a nice addition to the room. Would have expected some fresher milk condiments rather than UHT jiggers. Basic tea/coffee condiments. Our room overlooked the winter gardens roof. The window does not open (which could be a deal breaker in warmer months). Rather quiet. Bed itself..... terrible! Old pocket springs that desperately needs replacing or at least topping. Was like trying to sleep on a death rack ... massive let down! Awful nights sleep. Hair dryer did not work.
If wasn't for the shocking beds/mattress I would consider staying here again especially due to price and location. However the main reason you stay somewhere is to sleep ...and that was not a nice experience at all here.

UUtente ospiteWe were issued keys that failed to open the door forcing us to make our way back to the front office. Our room, by the way was last on a long corridor on the upper floor of an extended wing if you can picture that. We booked (and paid for) a room for three but upon entering, the extra bed was not made up. Tried to call every number on the house phone but none was answered which meant another long walk to the front office, again.
When we found the drain in the shower clogged I was hesitant to complaint to avoid further disappointment but I did anyhow and true enough - nothing was done.
I must admit the hotel had one of the widest selection of tea and coffee (and chocolate drink mix) I've seen in a hotel room. I appreciated the coffee but unfortunately, restocking was only done once throughout our 4 night stay. I wonder if this was to be expected.
Double Tree is a respectable brand (at least in my part of the world) but I don't understand what could have gone so wrong with this one.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel has a nice feel about it. The single room I had was fine for one night. The bathroom was nice, it was almost as big as the room !! The shower was excellent. I did not sleep well, the mattress was rather uncomfortable. I did report it and was told they were in the process of upgrading mattresses. The staff were all very happy, welcoming and friendly.

UUtente ospiteFast, easy and very pleasant check in and out. Kept our bags in storage room for a full day on day of check out as our train wasn’t due to leave until 8:00pm.
Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was great with plenty of options.
Bar food was lovely and reasonably priced.
Overall very happy with our stay.

UUtente ospiteAbbiamo soggiornato nel marzo 2024 avevamo una buona esperienza, ma questa visita la scorsa settimana 11 maggio 24 era molto deludente trovammo la stanza sporca con insetti che scorrevano sotto il letto, abbiamo chiesto di cambiare la stanza che abbiamo fatto, ma trovammo lo stesso problema che io sottolineato al ricevitore notturno, si è arrivo con una terza stanza pulita felicemente a mezzanotte, ora molto stanco abbiamo dormito bene e parlato alla ricezione al check out chi ci ha offerto un complimentare colazione che era bello ma non ti fa voler tornare di nuovo se le camere sono presentate a voi così sporca vedi le foto che ho scritto al manager dell'hotel il 13 maggio ma non ho ancora ricevuto risposta

AAirborn63The hotel is near the Thorne North station and the M62 motorway. A pub with car park is part of the establishment and provide breakfast, warm meals and drink. Next to the hotel is a retail park with Aldi, KFC and other stores. Thorne itself is 15 min walk.
The rooms are simple but effective and there is no staff on side. Kettle, coffee and tea supplied. Bathroom with bath and shower. Iron in corridor.
I stayed few times as it is convenient for my needs and reasonable priced. 15% discount on meals for guests.

Il bagno era pulito, non c'era problema.Il giorno del viaggio c'era un matrimonio così tante persone che si affollavano intorno, soprattutto
Il salone del bar era piccolo e le bevande di birra erano costose oltre 5 sterline!
Generalmente un buon soggiorno personale utile e cortese.
