Hotel a 5 stelle in Regione di Yangon, Myanmar

Seconda volta in 14 giorni in questo hotel con un upgrade della camera, con vista doppia sulla città. Difficile trovare un hotel con un rapporto qualità prezzo migliore di questo a Yangon. È nei fatti un 5 stelle ma lo paghi come se fosse un 3! Colazione, ancora una volta, superlativa. Ottimo il ristorante per cena, che offre sia un menù alla carte che un ricco buffet. Invitante la piscina e il centro massaggi.

Questo è forse uno dei pochi hotel premium che sono ancora considerati per fumare patroni e offrire camere da fumare, per questo l'ho scelto. La mia stanza era al terzo piano, con accesso diretto alla piscina. La stanza era pulita, spaziosa e modestiamente comoda. Il buffet del colazione è stato eccellente, con una vasta gamma e varietà. Ci è un club notturno sul sito, tuttavia chiuso con apertura prevista dall'aprile 2026. La palestra è pulita e completamente attrezzata. Aspettate di rimanere qui di nuovo.

It was a great stay. Staffs are polite and helpful. A male receptionist and a woman Housekeeping attendant at 16th floor were particularly helpful during my stay. The Pool is beautiful and I was actually amazed that they built a very deep pool for a hotel (1.9 m). My feet barely touched the pool ground, but they did have the fitness trainer who watched out for the deep pool. The room is okay, but I feel like it’s a bit small. Don’t get me wrong, they already are among the widest rooms in Yangon, yet the room I got had very tight entrance. The bathroom is separated with toilet and shower and bathtub. TV is rather small, I expected to have a more updated smart TV in this kind of hotel. The only thing I wasn’t satisfied was Breakfast. Yes, they did have variety of selections but the tastes were blend and honestly, I didn’t like their food menus. Overall, it was pretty decent memory to stay at Melia.

Old luxury hotel - resort style big pool, great breakfast, spacious rooms. They have to renovate it, but it still very nice. Ah, by the way. Its hard to find some restaurants nearby - be prepared for taxi for any case. But they have 24h convenient store on first floor. And - its very strange for the hotel of this level - there was a situation with exec lounge. It was in my booking but they refuse to give me access: ”It was an error in room description”. Guys, its really not my trouble, right? I wasnt in the mood for hard negotiations, so... let carma decide ))) And they have no local shuttle bus (yes, there is an error on hotel site). Heh )))

La struttura era pulita e mi sono sentita molto a mio agio. La palestra è grande ed è possibile utilizzare anche la sauna e la jacuzzi. La vista del cortile e della piscina dalla sala colazione mi ha fatto dimenticare che ero in Myanmar e ho potuto godermi un momento di relax. Tuttavia, forse perché aveva appena riaperto o perché gli ospiti erano pochi, la colazione era scarsa e scarsa, alcuni prodotti erano usati il ​​giorno prima e non erano buonissimi. Sono rimasto molto deluso perché il voto sarebbe stato dimezzato se il livello della colazione fosse stato basso in un hotel a 5 stelle. Spero che verrà migliorato in futuro.

Un bel posto tranquillo e pulito per soggiornare a Yangon...molto comodo che hanno tutto come piscina, palestra, ristoranti e bar...ogni volta che sono arrivato a Yangon ho solo prenotato questo hotel.

Questo è uno dei migliori hotel che abbia mai soggiornato. È stato conosciuto come Rosewood Yangon e ora è stato riaperto per 8 mesi. Tutto è eccellente, molto amichevole, paziente e utile personale, servizio straordinario. La storia dell'hotel data di nuovo al 1927, quindi è assolutamente un edificio storico. La struttura è molto eccellente, il colazione è delizioso e ci sono molte opzioni. La posizione è anche buona e sicura, molto vicino a Sule Plaza, General Post Office e l'ambasciata britannica. Everything was good👌👌👌😍💙…The only downside was that you might feel too lazy to go out or sightsee because the hotel room was very comfortable, and it was extremely hot outside😅 —- You could just stay in your room, enjoy the view, go for a swim, or have a spa day…. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options, and they even changed some of the dishes the next day. My favorite was the sauna—it was really good. I also loved the hot shower, as it didn’t turn cold even after being on for a long time😍 The massages were great, and the prices were reasonable…. The staff were very helpful and kind…. There were occasional power interruptions, but they only lasted a few seconds since the hotel’s backup power kicked in immediately… + Although it’s a bit far from the tourist spots, you can take a Grab—it’s affordable and the best option since it gets really hot during the day….

It is not quite easy to put a fair review for this hotel. At a very first glance, with the ongoing political unrest in Myanmar, the effort to reopen the hotel and rehire all the staff deserve a great compliment. Nonetheless, the shortfall in service and amenities should not be compromised with the situation and some area such as cleanliness should not fall short especially when the hotel priced themselves at the highest in the city. The management should really consider to focus on guests service and sincere hospitality and that they can have customers who are willing to pay at any price rather that worked any way possible to cut the cost and let the staff to deal with insufficient amenities and services.
