We recently stayed here and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The staff mentioned we had just missed the end-of-May crowd, so the resort was incredibly calm and peaceful. It felt so serene, and we were even among the only ones in the pool all day. The pool was a great size and very relaxing, with plenty of sun chairs available. What We Loved: - Our room was extremely clean with no faults at all. We were upgraded to an Ocean View room, and the views were just beautiful. - The breakfast buffet had a great and delicious selection. Having 5 different dining options on site was excellent because the food never felt repetitive. We highly recommend trying the Lamb Shank at the Recreational Village! - We took some classes which were fun to attend. There was no booking required, which was great because it kept our schedule completely flexible. - The free shuttle service from the BBT Ferry Terminal was very convenient. - The service staff were all so friendly and attentive to our needs. A huge thank you to Kinasih in particular, who served us both poolside and at the Recreational Village. He is such a friendly guy and provided top-notch service. Some Minor Improvements: - Upon arrival, our luggage was accidentally left behind at the ferry terminal, though it was sorted out. - It was a bit hard to find information about the resort at first, such as the in-room dining menu, directions to the Recreation Village, and details for Chocolate Hour. Most of this was on the TV portal, but our TV was not set up to show it when we first turned it on, so we didn’t know about it until the next day. - An introduction to the facilities placed in the rooms or explained by the check-in staff would have been very useful. - We much prefer having physical menus rather than QR codes everywhere, and having physical signs for Chocolate Hour would be a good touch. Overall though, this is a wonderful resort with great food and excellent staff. We had a very relaxing holiday and would love to come back!

The villa was exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and offered the perfect sanctuary for a romantic getaway. Having a private pool just steps from our bed allowed us to enjoy quiet, intimate swims at any time of day, completely undisturbed.Inside the villa, the attention to detail was remarkable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and filled with natural light. One of the absolute highlights of the accommodation was the deep, luxurious bathtub. After a long day of exploring and activities, soaking in the tub became our favorite way to unwind and relax together. The housekeeping team deserves immense credit for keeping every corner of our villa pristine throughout our stay, ensuring we never had to worry about a thing.Beyond the beautiful room, our trip was packed with memorable experiences. We are a couple that loves a mix of relaxation and adventure, so we decided to try the ATV riding offered at the resort. It was an absolute blast. Racing through the trails together brought a fantastic rush of adrenaline and added an exciting, adventurous spark to our romantic vacation. The staff guiding the ATV experience were professional, safety-conscious, and made sure we had the best time possible.Of course, no luxury stay is complete without great food, and Montigo Resorts delivered perfectly on that front. Our package included a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, which quickly became something we looked forward to every day. The spread was incredibly generous, featuring a wide variety of both local and international dishes. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the live cooking stations to the fresh pastries and tropical fruits. Starting our mornings together over a delicious, hearty breakfast with beautiful resort views set the perfect tone for the rest of our day.What made this trip truly amazing was how seamlessly the resort blended high-energy fun with peaceful romance. Whether we were splashing around in our private pool, getting mud-soaked on the ATV tracks, or relaxing in our spotless villa, every moment felt special. Our stay at Natra Bintan was such an amazing experience for us as a couple 🤍 We decided to go on a weekday, and honestly that was the best decision because the whole place felt so peaceful, calm, and private. The atmosphere was very relaxing with beautiful views and a quiet environment perfect for escaping from busy routines and spending quality time together. From the moment we arrived, the service was really good. The staff were all very friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable all the time. Check-in was smooth, the room was clean and cozy, and everything was well prepared for guests. What we loved most was the overall vibe of the resort. It’s not just about the stay, but the feeling you get there slow mornings, relaxing walks, enjoying the lagoon view, and having peaceful moments together without rushing anything. It truly felt like a short healing trip for both of us ✨ Definitely recommended for couples who want a romantic, relaxing, and peaceful getaway. We would love to come back again someday 🤍

Prima di tutto, ci sono molti vantaggi davvero notevoli per il Nirwana Resort: - L'hotel è in una posizione meravigliosa. La spiaggia proprio di fronte all'hotel è bellissima, tuttavia, se esplorate un po' più a fondo, la spiaggia proprio accanto (collegata ad alcune mini-case in affitto) fa anch'essa parte dell'area Nirwana ed è ancora più pulita e invitante per una nuotata diretta. - La camera era persino più bella di quanto mi aspettassi dalle foto. Tutto era arredato con gusto, pulito e il servizio in camera faceva un ottimo lavoro ogni giorno. L'hotel in sé ha circa 35 anni, è molto vicino al mare ed è costantemente esposto ai venti salmastri. È semplicemente incredibile che siano riusciti a mantenere i corridoi aperti in così ottime condizioni. Ci sono molti elementi in legno (che a mio parere sono davvero belli). - Il personale è cordiale e disponibile. Troverete molte attività se è questo che vi interessa. Ora passiamo alla parte un po' neutra: alcuni servizi dell'hotel non erano disponibili durante il nostro soggiorno. Ad esempio, per raggiungere la palestra bisognava spostarsi in un altro edificio a poche centinaia di metri di distanza. C'è comunque tutto il necessario, quindi non è propriamente una lamentela, ma più una questione di comodità, ma dato che tutta la zona circostante è piuttosto bella, consiglierei comunque di esplorare un po'. I due principali fattori negativi sono stati: - È un resort molto appartato e non c'è un supermercato normale o qualcosa di simile nelle vicinanze per le necessità quotidiane di base come acqua o altro. Questo significa che dovrete pagare cifre esorbitanti. 1 litro d'acqua costa oltre 100.000 rupie, ovvero circa 7-8 dollari. Una bottiglietta di Coca-Cola costa circa 3,5 dollari. Lo stesso vale per tutti gli altri snack, bevande e cibo. Sono molto costosi, semplicemente perché non si ha scelta. Un altro esempio: una pizza + un hamburger ”gourmet” costavano quasi 50 dollari. Non mi lamenterei nemmeno se fosse davvero ”gourmet”. Tuttavia, non ci si avvicina nemmeno: si possono mangiare entrambi, non è terribile ma è molto semplice, la pizza è troppo secca e un po' piccola, l'hamburger è il più noioso che abbia mai mangiato da anni e la carne non è affatto un granché. Lo stesso vale per tutto il resto del cibo che abbiamo provato nel ristorante interno. Non è male, ma ogni piatto sembra un po' fuori posto, mancante o semplicemente molto semplice. Soprattutto per il prezzo elevato che si paga, questo non sembra giusto. Ci sono altri due ristoranti a circa 1 km a piedi: un ristorante indiano. I prezzi sono un po' alti, ma più ragionevoli rispetto al ristorante interno. Il pollo tandoori era troppo speziato (non piccante, solo troppo forte, senza nulla che lo completasse) e molto secco/noioso. Il famigerato pollo al burro era ottimo, invece. Consiglierei il ”ristorante piccante” (4 stelle), ma assicuratevi di prendere qualcosa con la salsa. E poi c'è un ristorante di pesce. È davvero costoso (soprattutto se paragonato al pesce di Batam, per esempio), ma offre un'incredibile selezione di pesce/granchi/gamberi freschi e ben conditi che vale assolutamente la pena di andarci. Anche la vista è fantastica. In realtà darei a tutta questa esperienza 5 stelle: se si potessero avere le cose essenziali (acqua, Coca-Cola, qualche piccolo spuntino) a un prezzo ragionevole, al momento questa parte sembra un po' una fregatura. Inoltre, il servizio taxi locale è un po' troppo caro, lo stesso vale per le attività. Non mi dispiace spendere di più, ma ci deve essere un equilibrio per non sentirsi sfruttati. Se questo non vi interessa, consiglio vivamente il soggiorno al Nirwana Hotel.

Esperienza super super fantastica!! Il resort è un po' lontano, ma è come una piccola comunità isolata e autosufficiente, un mondo a sé stante! Avevamo un sacco di cose da fare anche se non avevamo niente in programma. C'erano tantissime attività gratuite (preparazione di sambal, visite alla fattoria, degustazione di miele, kayak, yoga, piegatura di asciugamani, osservazione delle stelle, degustazione di caffè, ecc.). A tarda notte, il personale è persino venuto a offrirci un dessert gratuito (una torta) ed era così delizioso. Anche la camera era davvero confortevole e accogliente e avevamo un servizio di buggy che ci portava qua e là (era come un giro sulle montagne russe, così divertente). Anche il cibo era buonissimo (Rica Rica aveva degli ottimi satay e mie goreng), e la postazione per le uova a colazione 10/10!! Anche il personale lì è stato così gentile e disponibile, mi dispiace tanto di aver dovuto andarmene... posso tornare...

In generale, un soggiorno fantastico con vista fantastica e un servizio fantastico! La camera era perfettamente grande e il letto unico era molto spazioso per una persona. We recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests. 1. Room Consistency & Communication Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved. 2. Villa Room Maintenance On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression. We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved. Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback.

C'è anche un supermercato nelle vicinanze che vende tutti i generi di prima necessità e anche una macelleria, credo, per gli ospiti dell'appartamento. Cosa non ci è piaciuto: - sebbene il lago sia stupendo, la strada sottostante a volte può essere rumorosa. Non è stato un problema insormontabile perché abbiamo dormito tutti la notte. Sebbene ci fosse un po' di traffico la sera prima di Hari Raya, per il resto tutte le altre sere e notti la circolazione era scorrevole e non siamo rimasti bloccati nel traffico. - L'acqua della piscina sembrava un po' torbida, soprattutto quella interna, che credo sia la vasca idromassaggio. - Non c'erano molte strutture per i bambini, a parte la piscina. - Gli interni dell'hotel sembravano datati, ma ho notato che erano in corso dei lavori di ristrutturazione. Il pavimento della camera presentava alcune lastre rovinate. - C'era solo una doccia a pioggia, quindi era difficile per me fare la doccia a mio figlio senza bagnarmi. A parte questo, credo che il servizio offerto dal personale abbia compensato ampiamente le limitazioni delle strutture.

La stanza era pulita con una bella vista, e la piscina era grande con un sacco di letti di giorno. Ci sono molte attività da scegliere, ma la messa in piscina è stata la nostra attività preferita. La gestione della piscina, tuttavia, ha bisogno di un miglioramento: i letti usati non sono stati puliti, con asciugamani sporchi lasciati ovunque anche piastre/sfondi sporchi, rendendo difficile indicare chi era disponibile. We recently celebrated a special getaway at Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel and it truly felt like we had rented the whole place for ourselves. The atmosphere was so peaceful, exclusive, and romantic — perfect for spending quality time with my wife. The hotel itself is incredibly unique, with so much history and character. Staying inside a beautifully restored ship made the entire experience unforgettable. Every corner had a charming nautical touch, and the ambiance throughout the property was elegant yet cozy. One of our favorite spots was the infinity pool overlooking the sea. The view during sunset was absolutely breathtaking, and the calm surroundings made it feel like a private paradise. We spent hours just relaxing by the pool, enjoying the ocean breeze and quiet atmosphere. The restaurants were also very good. The food was delicious, breakfast had plenty of variety, and the dining ambiance was warm and relaxing. Having dinner with the sea view and soft lighting created such a romantic mood for our celebration. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always attentive, which made the experience even more comfortable. The entire property was clean, beautifully maintained, and surprisingly quiet despite being such a famous landmark. If you are looking for a romantic escape, peaceful retreat, or simply a unique experience in Bintan, I highly recommend Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel. It was a memorable celebration with my wife, and we will definitely come back again.
