This is a beautiful property with clean well appointed rooms. The gym has good equipment and the pool is great. The only thing that I was not happy with is the hotel changed their policy about using the sauna and steam rooms. I have been visiting this hotel every year and this is the first time I was denied entry because I booked a superior room instead of a deluxe room. I believe this is a bad policy.

Clean and spacious rooms with a good view either side, tasteful decor, and a comfortable overall experience. Breakfast was Lucious and plentiful, easy parking, and central location to explore Semarang plus the added taxi convenience makes it an all rounder

Di recente ho trascorso un soggiorno delizioso all'Hotel Tentrem di Semarang e non posso che consigliarlo vivamente. Fin dal nostro arrivo, il personale ci ha fatto sentire i benvenuti e la sua attenzione ha davvero arricchito la nostra esperienza. La pulizia delle camere e dei bagni era impeccabile, il che è sempre una priorità assoluta per me quando viaggio. I servizi dell'hotel, inclusa la palestra, erano eccellenti e ci fornivano tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Uno dei punti forti per me è stata la deliziosa colazione. La varietà era fantastica e la qualità del cibo eccezionale. Voglio anche fare un ringraziamento speciale a Ibuk Elfi per la sua calorosa ospitalità durante la colazione. Il suo atteggiamento allegro ha reso le nostre mattine ancora più piacevoli. Da amante del caffè, sono rimasto particolarmente colpito dalle capacità di Mas Arafi, il barista. Ho apprezzato moltissimo il cappuccino, il mocaccino e il caffellatte che ha preparato; ogni tazza era una vera delizia. La sua conoscenza del caffè traspare davvero in ogni sorso. Excellent hotel. The best from the Swiss-Bel chain. One of the few hotels that serve good quality western wheat bread for breakfast. Unfortunately, only sweet stuff such as jam, chocolate paste and peanut butter is served. Good quality wheat bread should be served with cheese, slices of cold meat and boiled eggs. Sweet stuff is for white bread. There is an entrance from the hotel to the mall which is very convenient. This hotel has a great lobby, lounge and bar area with a good atmosphere. Live music performances are everyday in this area from 20.00 to 22.00. For us, 22.00 is too early. By that time we return from dining outside. Hence, we would greatly appreciate it if the music performance is until 23.00. The bathroom has a very good bathtub, excellent heated water and Pepsodent toothpaste. The bedroom has two chairs, a fridge and good quality matresses.

Our recent stay at this establishment was nothing short of exemplary. The property is immaculately maintained, with a lobby that immediately captivates guests through its refined ambiance and tasteful design. Our accommodation was impeccably prepared and afforded my wife, our child, and me a serene and comfortable retreat. The swimming pool offered an invigoratingly cool respite, while the breakfast spread was both sumptuous and artfully presented. Every member of the hotel’s staff demonstrated exceptional warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness, elevating our experience from merely pleasant to truly memorable.

I came during high season so maybe the cleaning staff wasn't very detailed (we found popcorn at floor and some stain at bed sheet). I complained and the staff handle it very well. However this hotel located at strategic place so near from central city. The hotel is connected to a mall, so it's very helpful for families with children (I brought a 1-year-old baby) if there are baby items that we forgot to bring from home. We can buy them at the mall. Breakfast is complete but maybe if they have ”nasi tim” it will be perfect. (In this case because my baby cant eat rice yet) Thank you Po Hotel

Overall, one of the best hotels in Solo Positive: - within walking distance from the shopping mall - clean room and bathroom -  refurbish/renovated room Negative: -  service is a little slow -  a little far from Central Solo
