Hotel a 5 stelle in Giava Centrale, Indonesia

Overall service was excellent especially Mr Aviet, duty manager. I highlighted to him that there was no view at all in my room; the mirror was stained and the tap water splashing when turned on. He immediately came to my room and gave options for a change. He swapped my room on the same floor with a nice view on the second day for the rest of my stay. Honest review.. stay with the expectation of a 5-star hotel, but the experience is not comparable to the price. The lobby and check-in process are quite good, the welcome drink is refreshing, and the concierge helpfully carried the luggage. Basement parking is also relatively easy. Unfortunately, many important details reduce comfort. The door of the room does not have a stopper so it is often slammed loud and noisy. Soundproofing was not good, the sound from the next room was still heard. The room size is relatively small for the standard 5-star, and there is no minibar at all, even a paid one. For mineral water, use plastic bottles, not the premium ones with glass bottles. The lighting system was confusing and the bathroom lighting was too dim. There are 4 elevators but it is very slow.. there is often a buildup of guests. The pool area is also less well-organized such as having no concept and not weather-friendly because there is no shaded area. It's ridiculous, having to pay an extra 200rb for access to the whirlpool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was a disappointment: the menu options were less varied, the taste was standard, and the service was less warm (officers lacked smiles). Overall, I wouldn't really mind these things if the room price wasn't this muc, but with a rate above Rp 2 million per night, this experience is less worth it. Compared to 5-star hotels in Jogja and its surroundings, it is still quite far behind.

11/10 Servizio eccezionale da Relazioni Ospiti, Dita e Zhafira. La piscina era fantastica. Il buffet per colazione era divino. Benvenuto Gelato è stato un bonus. La stanza era perfetta. Il servizio di tutti i dipendenti è stato in generale impeccabile e innocente. La sorpresa extra per il nostro compleanno e il compleanno delle figlie è stata la più dolce!

Away from the hustle and bustle of yogya. Being in the city can be overwhelming, hence this location is just right, surrounded by nature - birds, clouds and an amazing view. The location is super interesting because the car has to go through so many winds through the village. If U take a morning jeep tour, the jeep will fetch U from the villa with the car top exposed and you can feel the wind in your hair, absorbing the peace from th village and fresh air. They also have a massage, quite expensive but worth it at 450,000 idr per hour. The geckos can be loud at night but that's nature. They have an amazing pool that oversees borobodur and Yogyakarta. The villa door has some ants but I think it's because of the wood? The junior room suite villa roof feels a bit hollow because we can hear the birds jumping and squawking on top of it in the early evening. Food is not fantastic, especially their breakfast. But since they locally produce long beans, try their long beans. It's crunchy and fresh. Their grilled ayam chicken rice is good too. Their sambal, however, is a must try. Fresh, spicy, tangy! At night, you can hear adzan, which is call for prayer, across the whole of Yogyakarta. An amazing and holy experience.

One of the best hotels in Semarang. If you look for best service and facilities in town regardless of the price, the best options are either Tentrem or Padma. Nice breakfast. Nice place. Great pool. Connected to Mall but the mall doesn’t offer much. Not many tenants.

love every part of this hotel, during all my hop on and hop off hotels this past years, this Gumaya hotel has met a good standard in most of aspects, especially the breakfast. im so suprised find hotel that the breakfast food taste delicious in all the stalls (usually will be too salty, too bland or just bleh..) but at gumaya, we are like travelling to each own traditional food restaurant, the authentic gudeg, the very nice lumpia and ikan bandeng, the warm soto ayam semarang and the homemade jamu and juices. all is excellent.

Mesa Stila is an atmospheric gem with real soul and history! ❤️ We stayed here for several days and were absolutely delighted. The hotel sits in a stunning location with a large, beautifully maintained grounds filled with lovely gardens, charming corners, and breathtaking views. You can truly feel the history and special vibe of the place — it’s somewhere you want to soak in every moment. The rooms are stylish, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Everything is thoughtfully done. A special mention goes to the staff — they are some of the friendliest, most attentive, and professional people we’ve encountered during our travels. They were always ready to help with a smile and created a genuinely warm atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious, and the restaurant overall is excellent. The service and attention to detail are top-notch. We enjoyed a peaceful, wonderful stay with zero issues. We will definitely return to Mesa Stila! Highly recommended for anyone looking for more than just a hotel — a truly special and soulful place.

Our family had a wonderful staycation at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an executive room, which made our stay even more special. The room was spacious, nice and cool, and clean with a 50 inch Smart TV—exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The pool was great, and our kid had an amazing time playing, especially with the new playground. It’s a fantastic place for families, with plenty of space for little ones to have fun. Since it was fasting time, the hotel went the extra mile by sending breakfast to our room, which was a thoughtful touch. The service was excellent throughout our stay, and we truly appreciated the attention to detail. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it for a comfortable and family-friendly staycation.

Il nostro soggiorno recente in questo stabilimento non è stato meno di esemplificativo, la proprietà è mantenuta in modo immacolato, con un lobby che immediatamente captiva gli ospiti attraverso il suo ambiente raffinato e il suo design delizioso. La nostra casa era ben preparata e mi ha offerto una tranquilla e confortevole pensione, la piscina ha offerto un riposo incredibilmente freddo, mentre la colazione era sconvolta e presentata in modo artistico. Ogni membro del personale dell’hotel ha dimostrato eccezionale calore, professionalità e attenzione, elevando la nostra esperienza da semplicemente piacevole a veramente memorabile.

Che splendida esperienza! Era il più grande soggiorno a Semarang che abbia mai avuto. E' comodo e confortevole. Abbiamo anche avuto un buon colazione. E' super raccomandato per coloro che vogliono stare con la famiglia o con gli amici.
