Hotel a 5 stelle in Yunnan, Cina

This was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience. Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group. Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved: 1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements. 2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume. 3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold. 4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage. 5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming. 6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree) Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. Mingyue 的菜单及营业安排稍微有些混乱。我们原本计划某晚在那里用餐，后来才发现中餐只在特定日期和时段供应，导致我们需要临时另作安排。 2. 房间的隔音效果可以再加强一些，因为即使隔壁房客只是正常音量交谈，我们也能听得相当清楚。 3. 淋浴的水温不太稳定。虽然我们已经调到舒适温度，但水温偶尔还是会突然下降，变得非常冷。 4. 员工或许可以更主动及细心一些。我们第一天抵达房间时正好下雨，而下车的位置并没有遮雨处，因此我们在搬运行李时需要短暂淋雨。 5. 房内水果盘的新鲜度可以再提升。苹果和橙子的状态，相较于我们之前在大理及昆明入住的其他酒店，感觉没有那么新鲜。 6. 早餐选择方面可以再更加丰富一些。我也特别期待能有更多现做的新鲜排毒果汁或特色果汁。（类似Banyan Tree Bintan的安排） 尽管存在这些小问题，但整体入住体验依然非常优秀。度假村内的景色和环境真的非常漂亮，我们尤其喜欢可以喂鸭子和鱼儿的体验，让整个氛围变得格外轻松惬意，也非常适合家庭度假。未来有机会的话，我们一定还会想再次回来入住。

Essendo di passaggio a Kunming, ho scelto un hotel della catena Marriott, relativamente conveniente e affidabile. La posizione di questo hotel è ottima. Ho guidato dall'aeroporto di Kunming e le condizioni stradali erano ottime e comode. L'hotel si trova in una zona trafficata e nei dintorni ci sono molti ristoranti e locali per il tempo libero. Ci sono molte vie dello shopping al piano inferiore e molti punti di registrazione per celebrità di Internet. L'hotel è nuovissimo, le camere sono molto pulite e i servizi sono buoni. Il personale della reception è molto entusiasta e professionale, il che è in linea con gli standard di servizio di un hotel a cinque stelle. La colazione è relativamente ricca e gli ingredienti sono molto puliti. Anche il servizio al ristorante è molto buono. Inoltre, all'ottavo piano dell'hotel sono presenti una palestra e un bar. L'unico inconveniente è che il parcheggio gratuito dell'hotel per gli ospiti si trova al quarto piano del parcheggio dall'altra parte della strada. Every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations, making it one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Check-in and Front Desk: From the moment I arrived, the staff at Naga Hotel made me feel truly welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the front desk team greeting me warmly and providing helpful recommendations for local attractions, dining, and activities. Their professionalism and genuine friendliness set a wonderful tone for my entire stay. Room and Comfort: My room at Naga Hotel was a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and modern amenities. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable with plush linens, and the pillows were just right for a perfect night’s sleep. The room featured thoughtful touches such as a coffee machine, a fully stocked minibar, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a large flat-screen TV. The view from my window was stunning and added an extra touch of luxury to the experience. Bathroom: The bathroom was immaculate and beautifully designed. Mutian Time Designer Guesthouse, Dali | A poetic stay in a century-old Bai courtyard We’ve just returned from Dali, and the place we keep thinking about most is this hidden gem at the foot of Cangshan Mountain — Mutian Time Designer Guesthouse. Oriental aesthetics in every corner The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. Overall experience average at Dali Ocean hotel Not up to expectation for the price paid for a should be kids-friendly five star hotel in China. eg: breakfast not much choice, and also not feeling very welcome by front desk staff. When i called them through phone, they just hang up the phone without me finishing the conversation yet, this shock me. Hotel not really kids friendly. Normally what I expect from a 5 star hotel which is into kids theme hotel should be more friendly to kids like giving out some small gifts for little ones, but Dali Ocean Hotel did not have such thing. And also price paid not include visiting the oceanarium. Unexpectedly the dinner we ordered through hotel restaurant and truffle pizza (complimentary in my package) are delicious. Room view Ok, can stay for a night to experience it yourself.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The butler was exceptionally quick to respond, and everything we requested was delivered to our room within minutes. The receptionist 橙子 consistently checked where we were headed and whether transportation was needed, and even reminded us to wear a hat when the UV was strong. Truly thoughtful 👍 I wanted to buy two boxes of flower cakes to bring home, but the shop was quite far from the hotel and I didn’t want to travel that far just for them. Orange took the initiative to bring two boxes back for me from the city. That was incredibly heartwarming 🥹 Even after we checked out, the receptionist 三朵messaged us to make sure we arrived in Shanghai safely 🥹 All these little details show how much they genuinely care about every guest. There was also a skinny gentleman (didn’t get his name) who kindly reminded us to bring extra clothes or a shawl before we headed to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Valley, as the weather could be colder up there. Every night, the butler would check if we needed warm milk or hot chocolate before bed. These small, thoughtful gestures really show how sincere and attentive the staff are. A big thank you to every staff member for the warm hospitality and attentive service that made our stay truly wonderful👏

Questo hotel è davvero fotogenico, perfetto per Instagram :)) Ci sono fiori ovunque e l'intero posto ha una vibrazione molto calma e fredda. Il loro servizio era davvero impressionante, ci hanno contattati un giorno prima del nostro soggiorno e hanno anche organizzato un conducente per farci uscire dalla stazione ferroviaria Dali, che rendeva tutto molto facile. I butlers erano anche molto utili, sempre veloci a rispondere e attenti a tutto ciò che avevamo bisogno. Ci hanno persino dato un giro gratuito al nostro prossimo hotel, che era un bel toccamento extra, e al di sopra di questo mi hanno dato una bella catena di chiave elefante per una bella fortuna, così pensativa e memorabile. La posizione è anche grande, molto conveniente per andare in giro.

Il maggiordomo ha utilizzato un triciclo per trasportare le valigie ed è stato molto gentile. Durante l'attesa del check-in sono state servite anche delle torte floreali. Anche il cibo della nonna Wen è molto di nostro gradimento. Il riscaldamento della stanza era molto confortevole! La donna delle pulizie deve fare di meglio. Abbiamo messo le tazze usate accanto al lavandino, ma la donna non le ha pulite. Il giorno prima del check-out, ci siamo recati alla reception e abbiamo comunicato che avremmo avuto bisogno di un risciò per portare fuori i bagagli alle 7:30 del mattino successivo. Il signore alla reception ci ha chiesto di contattare noi stessi la governante. Gli abbiamo detto che non avevamo un numero di cellulare cinese e gli abbiamo chiesto se poteva aiutarci a contattarlo. Ha detto: ”Lascia che ti prenda nota”, poi ha indicato il numero di telefono e ha detto: ”Dovresti contattare tu stesso la governante”. 😅Alla fine, abbiamo chiesto al nostro autista di contattare la governante.

Il nostro soggiorno è stato il più bello in questo hotel! Il personale era incredibilmente caldo, amichevole, e andò sopra e oltre per farci sentire comodi e ben guardati. Sono stati sorprendenti nel aiutarci a organizzare il nostro viaggio a Shangri-La e sono così consapevoli della zona, dandoci fantastiche raccomandazioni locali che abbiamo assolutamente amato. Tutti i suggerimenti erano spot-on e veramente aggiunto alla nostra esperienza. Raccomandiamo molto questo hotel a chiunque visiti la zona sicuramente torneremo e diremo a tutti i nostri amici e familiari di esso. Grazie per aver fatto il nostro viaggio così speciale! Un grande 5 stelle da noi!
