Hotel 3 stelle a Dacca

Recentemente sono rimasto in questo hotel e ho avuto una grande esperienza. Il personale è stato molto amichevole e utile per tutta la mia permanenza. La stanza era pulita e temperata, e mi sono divertito con il frutto e il caffè di complimentazione fornito. Il colazione era basso ma sufficiente. Nonostante il rumore di Dacca, l'hotel era sorprendentemente tranquillo senza disturbi esterni. Ho soggiornato durante il Ramadan, così potevo esserci meno attività che contribuiscano alla pace. In generale, mi piaceva l'hotel e sarei sicuramente rimasto qui se tornassi a Dhaka.

La posizione è eccellente, proprio nel centro città. Il personale dell'hotel è stato molto gentile; al check-in ci hanno offerto un succo di frutta e la sera un piatto di frutta fresca. La colazione era abbondante e il servizio impeccabile. Un piccolo inconveniente è stato che, dopo aver acceso l'aria condizionata la sera, è saltata improvvisamente la corrente. Non riuscivo a capire come riattivarla. In seguito, ho tolto la chiave della camera, ho aspettato un po' e poi l'ho reinserita, e la corrente è tornata. Non so perché. È importante notare che a Dacca il traffico è estremamente caotico; pensateci due volte prima di prendere un taxi.

The location of Hotel Tropical Daisy is excellent and very convenient, especially for getting around the city. That was definitely the best part of our stay. The room cleanliness was acceptable—okay overall, but there is room for improvement in terms of maintenance and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. Staff responsiveness and support were quite limited, which affected the overall experience. The facilities were also below average; they felt outdated and lacked some basic comforts that travelers usually expect. Overall, this hotel may be suitable if location is your top priority, but improvements in service quality and facilities would make a big difference. This stay was as a couple, and while the location worked well, the overall experience was mixed.

Hotel Shuktara provided excellent service, with clean, safe - newly painted small basic rooms but with everything you may need. Cost effective option situated in Dhaka, behavior of the staff was excellent and Shahin was very kind. Hotel staff was available if you have any questions or concerns. They were always helpful, provided small currency exchange, daily room service, held luggage after check out and can coordinate CNG or rickshaws. There is 24/7 front desk and security outside the building. Buffet breakfast was plentiful of options which varied a bit every day. Free water refills at restaurant during breakfast, water bottles provided by daily housekeeping, tea kettle and mini fridge in room, WiFi worked great. Location was good to explore some of Dhaka during the day, however it’s unadvisable to be out in the area late. There’s two restaurants in the building, Starlight provided great attentive service and was a very hygienic restaurant. I can recommend this hotel if you’re looking for an affordable budget accommodation in Dhaka.

I booked the hotel 3 days before my trip and paid $40 for 1 night. After 2 days I called the hotel to check my confirmation. They said they didn't get any confirmation. After double checking they couldn't find any booking for me. If I go to their hotel, I will have to pay again. Then I gave them the receipt of payment. Then their manager contacted me and said that a third party agent hacked their account and they took all the payments. So they couldn't find my booking. After about 12 hours the issue was resolved. They said that I don't have to pay anymore. But they didn't provide free airport pick-up and drop-off. When I booked the hotel, it was shown that they had free airport pick-up and drop-off. However, their service was good and the room was clean. But the food was very expensive.

Buona posizione, buon servizio e spazio pulito. Sono fornite due bottiglie d'acqua. Sono disponibili anche strutture dentali. Vale la pena.

Un hotel decente in una zona prestigiosa. Cosmetico - la camera è piuttosto normale, ma ci sono carenze (il tavolo liscio non è stato girato nel cassetto, era necessario stringere sul letto. In bagno l'installazione dietro il bagno era in cattiva condizione - richiede riparazione) La piscina non era pulita, purtroppo - non nuotava. E nel resto, per il suo costo, è una buona opzione.

Absolutely tops in terms of service/ helpfulness! Hotel manager snd staff sorted out a complicated issue involving our booking and refused to take or ask for any money from us over the 5 days we stayed - even upgrading us to a suite for the final two nights when one became available. Staff speak English - and are helpful in providing Information about getting around, arranging transportation and laundry. A lovely rooftop cafe - a green oasis- and Taste Snacks. A Full Range of Bengali dishes as well as western food is also avsilable. And all this for less than 50CAD - very good value! The hotel is located near the Old City- easily accessible by taxi, tuktuk or rickshaw- also BaileyRoad is within easy walking distance, a quieter tree lined street and New Bailey Road with Shopping Restaurants etc though these are also available in a buzzier context in the streets surrounding the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel and Return again- Note the address at 873 Outer Circular Road( not the one on listing we saw/ booked located several hundred meters away, at 12 Outer Circular Road. The hotels are not linked, whatever you are told by the latter. And actual Grand Circle Inn at 873 is of higher standard/ quality…
