Antico palazzo Wu Gong trasformato in Hotel con un grandissimo parco, corsi d'acqua ponticelli pagode e un'antica torre dell'epoca. Davvero enorme in pieno centro storico circondato da alte mura. Vicino a tutti i luoghi da visitare, con la fermata del bus davanti e la metro a 500 mt. Consigliatissimo 👌😀👍🌹

酒店為中式裝修，周圍環境優美，房間乾淨整潔，酒店的服務堪稱一流，所有工作人員見面都笑臉相迎打招呼，特別值得表揚的是早餐工作人員李靜和劉丹兩位，她們服務熱情周到並送餐到桌，我們感到非常滿意。酒店的地面停車場很大，適合自駕。總之酒店的服務一流，為酒店的服務點👍。

L'hotel ha una posizione geografica unica. Si trova a Xinjiekou, il centro dell'universo. C'è la metropolitana al piano di sotto, quindi è molto comodo andare ovunque. Il personale è molto professionale, entusiasta ed educato. Ogni giorno c'è frutta fresca in camera e c'è anche frutta da raccogliere sulle scale. Nel periodo del Primo Maggio i prezzi delle case erano piuttosto alti. La stanza in cui ho alloggiato era nel vecchio edificio. La cosiddetta camera familiare è stata in realtà ristrutturata da due stanze adiacenti nell'angolo. I servizi della camera, in particolare il bagno, erano relativamente vecchio, ma i dettagli erano ancora molto buoni La colazione è abbastanza soddisfacente e le pietanze sono ricche. Tuttavia, per gli ospiti che soggiornano per più giorni, può mancare un po' di freschezza. I camerieri sono cordiali e premurosi, e le stoviglie vengono sparecchiate e rimosse prontamente e velocemente. Pro: La camera era nuova, ma i tatami erano difficili da pulire. Ogni ospite era tenuto a indossare ciabatte sui tatami e ciabatte di plastica nella zona della vasca da bagno. Great value for a 5-star hotel! Rooms are spacious and decor is nice, the included buffet breakfast offers a lot of variety and is tasty. The hotel is located right behind the Nanjing Museum, is “close” to the Ming Tombs, and is close to the Ming Koo Kung subway station which provides easy access to many sights in Nanjing. There is even a street food bazaar right next door! The only downside of this hotel is that it does not offer a free laundry room.

After staying for three consecutive nights, the final night turned out to be an extremely unpleasant experience. A group of loud and inconsiderate local women checked into the room next to mine. They were shouting and making noise late into the night, keeping me awake until 11:30 PM, and then woke me up again at 5 AM. I called the front desk twice to report the situation, and even walked to their door in my pajamas to record the noise they were making. I paid over RMB 1,450 for that night, yet I believe these guests, likely part of a tour group, probably paid very little—if anything at all. Situations like this shouldn't happen even in a well-managed budget hotel, let alone in a five-star, landmark hotel in Wuxi. If we say that guest behavior is beyond the hotel’s control, then what happened the next morning, on the day of my checkout, was even more baffling. The hotel changed its name overnight. The well-known management brand Hyatt officially parted ways with the hotel owner, and this hotel, once under a globally recognized brand, became a local one overnight. Staff morale was visibly low, and many seemed to face the uncertainty of possible unemployment, which clearly weighed on their minds. In the breakfast area, at the yogurt station, I couldn’t find a bowl to serve yogurt. I asked two different staff members for assistance, but both of them responded with blank expressions and said absolutely nothing to me. I felt completely ignored—even invisible. While I had only planned to report the disruptive guests, the indifference of the breakfast staff truly triggered my frustration. I immediately called to file a formal complaint. The hotel's Guest Experience Manager met with me in person, offered a sincere apology, and after learning more about the situation behind the scenes, I accepted the explanation and chose to forgive. As luck would have it, when I checked out, I ended up sharing the elevator with the same group of disruptive women. Their loud conversation inside the elevator sounded like a chorus of honking cars on a busy street. Instinctively, I raised my voice and shouted at them—and suddenly, the entire elevator went silent. Was it just a coincidence? I wasn’t angry anymore, but somehow, I felt vindicated. That’s the end of the story. I’m on the plane now, finally heading back to Sydney, Australia.

Ho avuto un fantastico soggiorno a Crowne Plaza Suzhou. Il personale era eccellente professionale, caldo, e sempre pronto ad aiutare con un sorriso. Il servizio ha fatto davvero una differenza e ha aggiunto al comfort generale del mio viaggio. Molto consigliare questo hotel per chiunque visita Suzhou!

La posizione dell'Intercontinental è centrale a Nanchino. È vicino al lago e invita a fare passeggiate nelle vicinanze. L'architettura dell'hotel è davvero bella e siamo stati trasferiti a un piano più alto. La vista sulla città è fantastica. I mobili delle camere sono un po' logori e non corrispondono pienamente all'alta qualità dei pavimenti e delle sale dell'edificio. Alcuni lavori di ristrutturazione potrebbero essere necessari in futuro. La piscina interna è ok ma niente di speciale ed era un po' fredda (ma era anche fredda fuori). La colazione era buona e il personale era molto cordiale. Alcune zone delle camere avrebbero potuto essere un po' più pulite. Sulla base del prezzo elevato per la camera, l'hotel andava bene ma nessuna grande sorpresa. Consigliamo comunque l'hotel per una notte per godersi la splendida vista. Per soggiorni più lunghi altri hotel offrono di più a prezzi più bassi.
