La Munis Guesthouse è perfetta per chi dà priorità alla facilità di visitare la città. Tuttavia, ci sono alcuni aspetti da tenere presenti per quanto riguarda i servizi in camera. Un problema importante è la mancanza di prese elettriche: in camera ce n'è solo una. Dovrete continuamente collegare e scollegare dispositivi come smartphone, bollitori elettrici e frigoriferi a questa unica presa. Questo rende il frigorifero praticamente inutilizzabile e, purtroppo, emana un forte odore dall'interno perché la corrente è interrotta. Inoltre, sebbene in bagno siano forniti shampoo, sapone per il corpo e sapone per le mani, non c'è il balsamo, quindi si consiglia di portarlo con sé se necessario. Se riuscite a sorvolare su alcuni inconvenienti relativi ai servizi e alle questioni igieniche, e se la posizione è la vostra priorità assoluta per poter visitare al meglio la città, questo hotel è consigliato.

I decided to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had a swimming pool and was great value for money. Getting to Dunyo Palace was very easy on public transport as I caught bus no 33 from the centre of Bukhara straight to the outside of the hotel. It was easy. I have stayed at Dunyo palace before and I had a great stay. My room was bigger than expected with a fridge, air conditioning and a kettle. I was greeted by the nice reception lady she was very helpful. I had breakfast and it was a buffet with a large selection of Uzbekistan breakfast foods. An omelette was freshly prepared for me in the mornings. The hotel pool was really nice to swim in after a long day walking around sight seeing in Bukhara. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will stay again in the future. The images I share are of the room I stayed in on my departure, the air conditioning, and the bathroom area. Wasn’t a very pleasant stay. On the first day we felt like a scam. We booked the room with an open window door but when we checked in, they gave us an accessible room next to the lift. Nothing looked like the picture on trip.com nor on Mercure website. The accessible bathroom design was also a huge miss. We tried to talk to front desk but they said that’s the last room they have and there were twin beds in the room, so that’s the correct room. They in the end asked us to request for room change the next day if we don’t ‘like’ it. We waited the manager until late morning next day and explained the issue which was more than a room change request. The manager admitted there are only a few rooms that actually look like the picture on their website. They finally gave us the room that we actually booked after a long argument, and compensated us on the first night issue. Beware of what you booked. They mixed a lot of different rooms into one room category and charge the same price point. The room amenities were basic also.

This made it incredibly easy to explore the cultural charm of the city without needing transportation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the team went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed. They were always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, and even small personal requests, which added a thoughtful touch to the overall experience. The room itself was beautifully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comfort. It was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with attention to detail in both décor and amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location, which can often be a challenge in busy areas. One of the standout features of Boutique Old City is its charming courtyard. It provides a peaceful space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and soak in the historical ambiance. In the mornings, breakfast was served with a variety of local and international options. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start the day. Another aspect worth mentioning is the hotel’s authenticity. Unlike larger chain hotels, Boutique Old City offers a more intimate and culturally immersive experience. The architecture and interior design reflect the heritage of the region, allowing guests to feel more connected to the destination. Overall, my stay at Boutique Old City exceeded expectations. It combines excellent location, friendly service, and comfortable accommodation in a way that truly enhances the travel experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay in the old city.

Wonderful staff, but the hotel is a compromise The staff here are genuinely lovely — warm, attentive, and always willing to help. That's the highlight of the stay, and it deserves real credit. But the hotel itself is a compromise. The main draw is the outdoor pool, which is excellent — and honestly, there's nothing of this quality anywhere else in the city. The problem is everything around it. The hotel sits far from the historic center, so you're dependent on taxis to get anywhere worth seeing. The views from the rooms look out onto old Soviet-era buildings with little charm, and there's a layer of dust over everything. The pool is where the real frustrations begin. It's open to non-guests for a fee, which means it's frequently overcrowded — especially on weekends, when there's often simply no space. Many of the local visitors behave with little regard for others: jumping in, shouting, treating it like a public party rather than a hotel pool. Some show up and drink heavily. During our stay there was a man who was completely, falling-down drunk — he stumbled and nearly cracked his head open several times. The staff had no idea how to handle it. They let him lie around, swim, even dance, while children of paying guests were right there in the water nearby. For a spa team, this is real unprofessionalism — there was no intervention, no sense of safety, no management of the situation at all. On top of that, Sundays are women-only days, with men not allowed in at all. I understand the intent, but if you've traveled here and paid specifically for the pool, that's a significant loss - because without the pool, the hotel is honestly rather grim and uninteresting. In short: the people who work here are kind, and the pool is the best in town. But the location, the surroundings, the overcrowding, and especially the spa staff's inability to maintain a safe, professional environment make this a place you choose despite its flaws, not because of them.

Questo hotel è situato in una posizione eccellente e è completamente ristrutturato. Lo spazio è immacolato, pulito e confortevole. Abbiamo ricevuto una calda ricezione dal proprietario. Anche dopo aver fatto check-out, il personale ci ha aiutato gentilemente con i bagagli e ha organizzato un taxi. Il loro servizio attento è impressionante. È certamente il valore di un soggiorno!

La posizione è ok. Si trova in un piccolo vicolo fiancheggiato da molti B&B e hotel nella città vecchia. È a circa cinque minuti a piedi dallo stagno nel centro della città vecchia. Non è troppo lontano per andare in uno qualsiasi dei castelli. Le strutture sono decenti. Vivo in un cortile sotterraneo, molto tranquillo e con un buon ambiente. Ci sono anche il primo e il secondo piano. Le strutture delle camere sono mediocri. Si può solo dire che sono simili ai Chinese Home Inn o agli Hanting Hotels. Sono le strutture di un hotel economico e il flusso d'acqua dagli ugelli non è grande sono così così, quindi devo accontentarmi. La colazione non è niente di speciale. Come altri hotel lungo la strada, ci sono solo alcune cose e poche sono adatte allo stomaco cinese, quindi è difficile commentare. Il servizio è abbastanza buono, tutte le domande hanno una risposta, la reception parla correntemente l'inglese e la comunicazione è praticamente priva di barriere. Tuttavia, quando gli apparecchi dentali usa e getta erano esauriti, non venivano sostituiti e dovevano recarsi alla reception per ritirarli. Ci sono diverse persone chiamate minzifa. Quando prendi un taxi, incontrerai prima Minzifa Travel e poi Hotel Minzifa.

We enjoyed a brief, one-night stay at this charming hotel, and it left a positive impression. The room was spotless and well-maintained, offering comfort and a cozy atmosphere. Its location was truly unbeatable—just a few steps from the main square in the heart of the old city, making it the perfect base for exploring the historical sights and vibrant local culture. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure our stay was smooth. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who graciously covered our taxi fare when I didn’t have smaller banknotes on hand—an unexpected gesture that truly reflected the hotel's commitment to hospitality. Breakfast was modest but satisfactory, offering a simple continental selection that provided an easy, light start to the day. While it wasn’t particularly remarkable, it served its purpose for a short stay. Overall, our time at the hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The combination of its prime location, clean accommodations, and attentive service made for an enjoyable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for travelers seeking convenience and a warm welcome in the city’s historic center. PS please put tea bags in original covers and add coffee into drinks selection.

Un hotel assolutamente meraviglioso che ci ha lasciato ricordi indimenticabili! Il Lyabi Hauz Hotel si trova a pochi passi da Lyabi Hauz, nel centro storico di Bukhara. Le strade sono strette, incastonate tra case addossate le une alle altre, spesso anche altri hotel, e le auto non sono ammesse. Così il tassista ci ha lasciato vicino ai margini della città vecchia e abbiamo poi trasportato le valigie in hotel. A quanto pare, il Lyabi Hauz Hotel è un'ex madrasa trasformata in hotel. Una piccola parte dell'hotel è occupata dal ristorante Aivan, che a quanto pare serve principalmente piatti europei, ma a pranzo si può provare il pilaf di Bukhara, che non è presente nel menu. La posizione proprio accanto al centro turistico è un vantaggio indiscutibile. È stato molto comodo raggiungere a piedi le attrazioni vicine, che sono numerose. Abbiamo anche raggiunto a piedi il Parco Samonide e la Fortezza dell'Arca. La nostra camera era confortevole, con finestre che si affacciavano su un cortile interno che poteva essere oscurato con delle tende. Il Wi-Fi funzionava bene. Gli unici aspetti negativi che ho trovato sono stati la rumorosità della ventola di scarico del bagno, che si accendeva con la luce, e la mancanza di spazio in bagno per appendere due set di asciugamani: non c'erano abbastanza ganci o altro per appendere quattro asciugamani. Ma questi sono dettagli di poco conto. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno e il relax in questo hotel, grazie!

Il nostro soggiorno qui era eccellente! Abbiamo deciso di prenotare questo alloggio sulla base delle altre recensioni, ed è stato ancora più meraviglioso di quanto pensassimo! È un soggiorno a casa, ed è stato bello incontrare la famiglia e parlare con loro. È molto vicino alle attrazioni della città antica, che rendeva così facile camminare verso loro. La famiglia era bella per noi durante il nostro soggiorno. Il colazione era speciale, perché il nostro ospite si accertava che avessimo provato una serie di piatti, e lui persino uscì dal mercato per ottenere ingredienti per preparare il nostro colazione. È stato davvero bello andare in giro, siamo andati al palazzo estivo e abbiamo imparato molto sulla cultura uzbeca durante il tour. Abbiamo scelto di fare una classe di plov con la famiglia, ed è stato il piu' delizioso cibo che abbiamo avuto durante il viaggio, e ci è stato davvero piacere imparare a fare il piatto e conoscere la famiglia un po' di più Questo soggiorno era eccellente e ci ha fatto Amo davvero Bukhara, consigliamo molto di rimanere qui!
