Parking is competitive - we have to park at the carpark opposite JR Kochi for our first night but managed to snag a spot the second night. Staff is helpful and friendly.
Location is good especially if you are travelling by JR but is quite a walking distance to the attractions eg, Hirome Market, Kochi Castle etc. There are convenience stores nearby where we bought snacks and enjoy the free coffee at the hotel lounge. We are glad breakfast is provided too as it can be a little difficult to find eateries nearby, and it is delicious.
Room is clean and size is acceptable by Japan standard.
Definitely NOT A 5 star hotel quality and service. When we arrived, we were not greeted at the door, we had quite a few luggages but none of the staff even insisted on helping. The rooms felt small, nothing interesting with the interior (to be honest, it felt just like a better version of a business hotel), no bathtub in the rooms just a plastic shower room. Another thing I noticed is due to having only two elevators, I often encountered to full elevators especially during busy hours when people go to the public bath on the 5th floor. We also had to pay 1000 yen per night extra for parking which I find it absurd. The staff were not very attentive and all looked kinda like students. Overall, this hotel should not be ranked 5 stars. I will not go back.
Cannot ask for more from this hotel. Everything is perfect. We have the best accomodation in here while in Shikoku, where we have stayed in 9 hotels. It was simply the best.
The environment is recluse, though it is highly accessible with cars. The star-gazing experience in onsen is once in a lifetime. It was magical to bath under the starry night. The dining experience is exceptional, though it is a little pricey, compare to the dinner we have throught Shikoku. Still, I highly recommend to try the Japanese-style course The Manna provided.

Molto consigliato!
FFS YangThe room is very clean and space is very good in Japan standard. The front desk staff are super helpful.
I wanted to open a bottle of wine and didn't have a wine opener. When I asked the front desk staff. He tried his best to help and unfortunately there was not a wine opener and I borrowed a beer opener instead. Just a few minutes later, I managed to open the wine using the beer opener and I went down to the front desk to return the opener. When lift door opened, I saw the front staff wanted to get into the lift with a screwdriver and 2 screws in his hand. I was really so touched when I saw him not giving up and still wanted to help me. I am totally zero to Japanese, and I can't remember the gentleman's name unfortunately. I really want to say a big thank you to the gentleman who tried his best to help me.
The location of the hotel is good with a supermarket and a convenient shop next door.
There a massage chair in the room for guests to use at FOC.
I you drive, there is car park on-site and it's free.
JJin-chanThe hotel basically has everything we need for our stay in the Shimanto area. As I booked the hotel very cheaply, there is nothing to complain for such a price. They had a happy hour during the night time where they served drinks and curry rice. They also have breakfast which is sufficient enough to give us energy to start our day if adventure in the southwestern area of Kochi.

UUtente ospitethe hotel room is nice , best shower even in Japan. but the sink is too low, good size for the child , too low for an adult the hotel has swimming pool, the pool is belong to the gym , normally require the membership ,but you just need to show the counter that you are staying in the hotel they will let you in. if you dont have the swimming suit, they have the swimming suit to borrow which was nice . they don't really speak English, that was a little tough to communicate. they have laundry machine at 3rd floor to use. the breakfast was acceptable , if you are foreigner, like western food , they have croissant, chocolate bread, salad, bacon. it was a good stay.
CChong Ee JayA 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria Kochi all'hotel.
