Non ero mai stato a Lincoln prima di prenotare una stanza qui per la notte del 1° agosto 2022. L'hotel non è facile da trovare, e all'epoca che ho fatto il sole aveva già stabilito. Sto trascinando nel parcheggio scuro, ero più che un po' preoccupato per le persone che si attaccano intorno ad alcune delle auto del parcheggio, giocando a musica e scalzando l'un l'altro. Quando entrava nel lobby, un giovane con le chiappe di paura e una maglietta sporca si avvicinò da una stanza posteriore. - Arrivo? - disse. - Sì, gli ho detto, ho una prenotazione. Quindi, infilandomi su un foglio di carta sul contore davanti a me, dicendo: - Firma qui, - puntando, - e mi servirà una carta di credito per gli incidenti. Per favore, notate che avevo già usato una carta di debito per riservare la stanza, quindi perché avrebbe bisogno di nuovo per ”incidente”? Ho profumato un truffatore, ma invece di sottolinearlo, gli ho semplicemente detto che non avrei bisogno di incidenti. - No, non è troppo tardi - rispose il ragazzo. - Grazie, - disse, e subito se n’è andato. Il giorno dopo ho controllato la mia dichiarazione bancaria e, certamente, il ragazzo mi aveva mentito e andato avanti e mi ha prelevato quasi 100 dollari per la stanza. Le chiamate telefoniche ripetute al manager del New Victorian sono andate senza risposta. Ovviamente le buone recensioni che vedete qui e altrove sono completamente Non credere a loro come ho fatto e distruggere questo posto se sai cosa ti fa bene.

We were caught up in ice and snow storm in Kimball Nebraska, while driving my son and his fiance across country, to move him to Alabama . This was the most convenient and accessible hotel for us to stop and spend the night at. The parking lot literally had 7 vehicles including ours in the parking lot, yet we could not get two rooms next to each other. My husband and I both suffer from terminal cancer and I am on oxygen, so it would have been wonderful to have one of the rooms that had a door to the outside and on the ground floor. The parking lot and all sidewalks were covered in ice and about 4 inches of snow making walking with luggage and an oxygen machine very cumbersome. Besides being unaccommodating , the staff was rude and uncaring. They had signs stating that they offer a breakfast, well, that consisted of a gallon of milk ,cold cereal, and bananas and that was the extent of breakfast. I was highly disappointed in this Super 8, and I have traveled across country numorouse times and stayed at Super 8's in several states and locations. However, I do have to say that the room was clean enough to sleep in which was a plus considering the service and accessibility for the handicapped was well below standard.

Check-in clerk was friendly until I declined the $3 added to my bill for a tip for staff; then after that she acted like she didn't want to talk to me. Sorry, but I've never before had to decline a tip presumptively added to my hotel bill. Seems like a scam by the hotel to put me in the awkward position of declining a tip for staff who are looking me in the face when I do it, and I resent that, so I don't feed into it. Just pay your staff what they deserve to take the job and don't put me in that position. So I was put in a room right next to the lobby which was maybe my punishment for declining to add the tip, and was very noisy. The room had a pungent musty odor but otherwise seemed clean.

Le camere erano fantastiche e pulite. Piscina e tubo caldo erano molto carino. Solo la cosa sulla piscina è che l'acqua non era così calda come mi sembrava che la piscina riscaldata dovesse essere. Il tubo caldo non sembrava essere molto caldo. Il primo receptionista che ci ha visitati è stato molto amichevole e utile (venerdì 16 febbraio, ore 6:00). Il receptionista che è venuto più tardi quella notte e ha lavorato la sera successiva è stato brutto, non sorrideva o non si è sentito bene. Sembrava che volesse essere da qualche parte, ma qui. Aspettava più di 30 minuti al conto per ottenere i biglietti da dollaro. Non avevo idea di dove fosse, come non era al conto.

Stayed here recently with my wife during a business trip to Omaha. Got a nice sized, King Suite room with Jacuzzi and shower. Nice large, spacious room, though a bit out dated. That doesn't really bother me much at all, except the Jacuzzi simply DID NOT WORK. Couldn't even turn the water on! In addition to this, the hot water in the bathroom was virtually non-existent. I'm not exaggerating in the least when I say that you had to turn the water on in the shower, sink, etc., and simply walk away for several minutes and come back for it to even be warm. It seems the hospitality industry everywhere we go has completely abandoned even the most basic and standard elements of ensuring people have a pleasant stay while traveling. We were loyal to another hotel chain (IHG hotels) for over 25 years when we started getting frustrated with their increasing poor management and quality and starting staying in Choice hotels hoping to see something better. Well, they've been a major disappointment as well. We don't expect 5-star resort treatment at these places, but when trying to book the better rooms and still stay budget-friendly you don't expect to take for granted things like hot running water. The hotel wasn't at all busy so it wasn't a matter of the plumbing system being taxed with maximum occupancy. We also stayed in another Choice Hotels location this same weekend and it was an even worse experience. The only redeeming quality about this place was that the lady running the breakfast area in the morning was staying on top of things. Apart from that, we're pretty much through with Choice Hotels at this point. May just have to start traveling in an RV and avoid hotel stays altogether!

We booked a two night stay because we were in Lincoln for a family gathering. We were very impressed with this Comfort Suites East hotel. The front desk area was clean, the people working at the desk were very polite and helpful, and the hotel itself was in a nice neighborhood. There was a bus of kids participating in a baseball tournament and we were concerned it might get loud at night, but it was amazingly quiet and we slept great. The room was clean and well stocked with a microwave and mini fridge. The bed had a pillowtop mattress and was super comfortable. The best part was the continental breakfast in the morning! It had an excellent variety of food including eggs, sausages, waffles, bagels, coffee, juice, muffins, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, and toast. There was not one single complaint we had about this hotel and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone going to the Lincoln, Nebraska area.

This was a really nice place at a good price. The room was big and clean, with a nice bathroom and working windows, TV, fast internet, and a nice big refrigerator. The breakfast was everything you'd want of a self-serve buffet, with a great waffle maker and good fruit. The only disappointing thing was when we got there in the evening, the front lobby had a strange smell to it, almost like soured milk or a weird chemical. That was too bad because everything else was fantastic for the price.

Guys at desks have been really kind to me; the check in has been fast and room big. Pool and laundry service available. Bed sheets coul be better. Included breakfast was quite rich and clean, I enjoyed it very much (finally a working waffle machine!).
