Indonesia: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Isole Riau

It’s not “just Batam” - this stay made the whole trip exciting. The location is absolutely perfect - walking distance to Grand Batam Mall, less than 10 minutes’ drive to Nagoya Mall, BCS, and DC Mall, and close to Harbourbay Terminal. Circle K right below the hotel, and Spa Central is just down the road. The service is amazing. Every staff member were trained well - smiling away and friendly. We even checked in late at night and received a queen-size bed, even though we booked two single beds. Breakfast spread was fantastic and made our mornings enjoyable. They had local specialties like Lontong Medan, Martabak Manis, four types of Jamu drinks, and keropoks. They also have a bar area and a smoking lounge as well. room was perfect. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was huge for a standard hotel room and included all the basic amenities. Extras like a coffee machine, chocolates in the fridge, and full glass windows were much appreciated. Smoking rooms are available, and they’ll deliver an ashtray on request. Overall, 10/10. I would 100% recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Non molto adatto alle famiglie. Siamo rimasti 3 notti, 2 notti con feste fino alle 22:00. Se venite con bambini piccoli che devono dormire prima delle 22:00, potreste avere problemi. Il personale è abbastanza gentile, ma un po' troppo. Durante uno dei nostri pasti, ci hanno chiesto com'era il cibo ben 8 volte. Abbastanza fastidioso quando si mangia. La doccia del bagno non ha sportello. Quindi l'acqua finisce facilmente dappertutto. Credo che l'uso principale dell'asciugamano sia quello di asciugare l'acqua sul pavimento. Quindi consiglio di non usarlo se soggiornate qui.

Rimasto 5 giorni e 4 notti. L'hotel è vecchio e gentile, ma ancora corre bene. La stanza è pulita, il cibo è limitato ma ok. Ci sono biliardo e una stanza di gioco divertente per passare il tempo con i bambini. La piscina è ancora buona, solo non estetica più. Si raccomanda se si vuole solo un posto confortevole per dormire, non per la vista.

Molto soddisfatto con questo hotel. La stanza è pulita e molto grande. Devo anche godere della palestra di livello 1. Il colazione che servono ha molta varietà e è delizioso. Il personale è molto amichevole. Prenoterò di nuovo la prossima volta che visito Batam.

Great stay overall. The hotel’s location is excellent close to the mall, massage places, and other conveniences. What stood out most was how friendly and helpful the staff were, making the entire stay enjoyable. Not to forget, the breakfast is simply amazing (especially the danish! Top notch quality)

We booked a family suite for 3 nights.  We selected the hotel based on the generally good reviews and mainly for its location.  1) Hotel Staff The front desk staff and the breakfast hall staff were friendly.  2) The Suite / Cleanliness / Housekeeping The suite was reasonably spacious (though a bit aged) and generally clean except for the dirt and dust at corners and underneath the furniture. Eg.  A thick layer of dust was found under the room phone and on the phone itself. Although we didn’t need to use the phone, it was placed next to the bed & pillows and that means breathing in the dust while we slept next to it. So we spent some time wiping the room and stuff with our own hand towels. The sink near the dining table was leaking, so it doesn’t serve any purpose other than to flood the dining area if we use it.  We did read about the leaking sink in an earlier review but thought it would have been resolved but obviously that was not the case.  The housekeeping is very lacking…. For a suite for 3 pax, we were given a small thin toilet roll on the 2nd day (less than half the thickness of those we buy from our supermarket).  That was really insufficient for 3 person.  We tried looking for the housekeeping team but they couldn’t be found. We had to use all the tissue paper that we brought with us on our trip as toilet tissue.  Also, there was no shower caps issued on our 2nd yay (2 shower caps were issued on day 1 but there were 3 of us!).  Out of the 3 bath towels issued, 1 was blackish brown with tattered edges. Fortunately we were prepared and brought our own disposable towels as we also read a review about the dirty/stained bath towels.  We ate at the breakfast hall on 2 mornings. The breakfast was rather limited with choices (not sure why someone previously reviewed that there was a good spread comparable to international hotels’ buffet…. Maybe he was lucky that day).  We observed flies on the pastries (as there were no downlighting preventing the flies from resting on the pastries).  But what surprised us was that the staff stationed at the pastry counter just looked at the flies and didn’t even bother to chase them away. Maybe he was tired of chasing them away since they will return.  3) Summary  Generally the hotel has nice friendly staff and a fantastic location with 2 shopping malls within walking distance. We also like that there was the A2 Foodcourt and many massage places nearby.  But we decided to forego our 3rd night stay in the suite as one of us was stressed about having to ration the use of toilet tissue and eating at the breakfast hall since we wouldn’t know whether any flies landed on the food earlier.   We supposed if we were to stay at Aston Inn Gideon in future, we would bring along sufficient toilet tissue, our own disposable bath towel & shower caps and avoided booking the suite (& the sink). It would have been even better if there was a choice to select rooms without hotel breakfast as we are not in the habit of sharing our food with flies 🤪

Molto buon hotel per il prezzo che ho pagato.Grande colazione. Ottima posizione. Il personale di servizio e il servizio frontale hanno fornito un servizio meraviglioso.

Room 706 I wanted to share that despite this is a really old hotel you can tell that they trying to make little improvements for example I noticed that the curtains are new. I believed the all of the staffs are well trained - bellboy, recept. waitresses and even housekeeping staffs keep smiling at you welcoming you and always helpful really thumbs up. I observed also every detail they have done to keep every corner of the hotel clean and tidy . Restaurant food is also delicious. Despite limited choice of food, the food taste really not bad. I like it that they keep their pastries in the warmer to keep it fresh, Again despite the smaller size room, it’s so nice to have a side table and chair to have our meals, dressing table and chair, a place for baggage, so many hangers a pair of slippers, fridge also working. All that we need for a short stat really thoughtful of them. I also find the pillows and bed very good and I slept very well . Hotel is unblocked so the feelings is good. Sound prove also ok. Doorway is also very bright. Just 5 mins walk to grand Batam mall and the wet market A2 and Batam city mall where we had dim sum so yummy 1-2 improvements is that the aircon is really noisy. Thought the towels smells good but there is a bit of stain 😬

Potrebbe essere un 5 stelle, ma per ora mi sembra più un 4 o 4,5 stelle. Lasciatemi spiegare. Prima di tutto, ci sono molti vantaggi davvero notevoli per il Nirwana Resort: - L'hotel è in una posizione meravigliosa. La spiaggia proprio di fronte all'hotel è bellissima, tuttavia, se esplorate un po' più a fondo, la spiaggia proprio accanto (collegata ad alcune mini-case in affitto) fa anch'essa parte dell'area Nirwana ed è ancora più pulita e invitante per una nuotata diretta. - La camera era persino più bella di quanto mi aspettassi dalle foto. Tutto era arredato con gusto, pulito e il servizio in camera faceva un ottimo lavoro ogni giorno. L'hotel in sé ha circa 35 anni, è molto vicino al mare ed è costantemente esposto ai venti salmastri. È semplicemente incredibile che siano riusciti a mantenere i corridoi aperti in così ottime condizioni. Ci sono molti elementi in legno (che a mio parere sono davvero belli). - Il personale è cordiale e disponibile. Troverete molte attività se è questo che vi interessa. Ora passiamo alla parte un po' neutra: alcuni servizi dell'hotel non erano disponibili durante il nostro soggiorno. Ad esempio, per raggiungere la palestra bisognava spostarsi in un altro edificio a poche centinaia di metri di distanza. C'è comunque tutto il necessario, quindi non è propriamente una lamentela, ma più una questione di comodità, ma dato che tutta la zona circostante è piuttosto bella, consiglierei comunque di esplorare un po'. I due principali fattori negativi sono stati: - È un resort molto appartato e non c'è un supermercato normale o qualcosa di simile nelle vicinanze per le necessità quotidiane di base come acqua o altro. Questo significa che dovrete pagare cifre esorbitanti. 1 litro d'acqua costa oltre 100.000 rupie, ovvero circa 7-8 dollari. Una bottiglietta di Coca-Cola costa circa 3,5 dollari. Lo stesso vale per tutti gli altri snack, bevande e cibo. Sono molto costosi, semplicemente perché non si ha scelta. Un altro esempio: una pizza + un hamburger ”gourmet” costavano quasi 50 dollari. Non mi lamenterei nemmeno se fosse davvero ”gourmet”. Tuttavia, non ci si avvicina nemmeno: si possono mangiare entrambi, non è terribile ma è molto semplice, la pizza è troppo secca e un po' piccola, l'hamburger è il più noioso che abbia mai mangiato da anni e la carne non è affatto un granché. Lo stesso vale per tutto il resto del cibo che abbiamo provato nel ristorante interno. Non è male, ma ogni piatto sembra un po' fuori posto, mancante o semplicemente molto semplice. Soprattutto per il prezzo elevato che si paga, questo non sembra giusto. Ci sono altri due ristoranti a circa 1 km a piedi: un ristorante indiano. I prezzi sono un po' alti, ma più ragionevoli rispetto al ristorante interno. Il pollo tandoori era troppo speziato (non piccante, solo troppo forte, senza nulla che lo completasse) e molto secco/noioso. Il famigerato pollo al burro era ottimo, invece. Consiglierei il ”ristorante piccante” (4 stelle), ma assicuratevi di prendere qualcosa con la salsa. E poi c'è un ristorante di pesce. È davvero costoso (soprattutto se paragonato al pesce di Batam, per esempio), ma offre un'incredibile selezione di pesce/granchi/gamberi freschi e ben conditi che vale assolutamente la pena di andarci. Anche la vista è fantastica. In realtà darei a tutta questa esperienza 5 stelle: se si potessero avere le cose essenziali (acqua, Coca-Cola, qualche piccolo spuntino) a un prezzo ragionevole, al momento questa parte sembra un po' una fregatura. Inoltre, il servizio taxi locale è un po' troppo caro, lo stesso vale per le attività. Non mi dispiace spendere di più, ma ci deve essere un equilibrio per non sentirsi sfruttati. Se questo non vi interessa, consiglio vivamente il soggiorno al Nirwana Hotel.

che fantastica 🤩 stanza tematica. Mio figlio lo ama e la stanza molto pulita. La ricezione e il puliziatore sono tutti molto gentili. Se ha un parco di gioco che sarà perfetto e la piscina ha bisogno di aggiornamento. Ci sono parco di deer vicino passeggiata in 10 minuti. Se ci vai, serve carote gregge autopronte per l'alimentazione.
