Australia: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Australia Meridionale

The hotel is conveniently located about 10 to 15 mins walk across parklands from East Terrace in the city which is where most of the popular restaurants and cafes are. During our stay, the preparation for the V8 car races was ongoing and many of the roads were blocked off. But finding a detour was easy enough. The hotel has limited onsite parking but there are plenty of spaces in the quiet residential streets behind the hotel. The hotel’s reception also manages the Econo Lodge Hotel which is located across the street and has its own parking. We only stayed for 1 night and did not get to try the restaurant onsite. The rooms layouts were not exactly rectangular but they were big enough to accommodate a king and a single bed and a pull out bed from under the single bed. A good and unusual feature was a power point built into the bed side cabjnet which works well for those with a need to use CPAP machines or for charging devices. There was a study/work table in the room that is useful for business travellers.

It was ok, but not more. The two most important things for me in any hotel are a comfortable bed and a good shower. the bed was great but the water pressure in the shower was very poor. Aside from that, there were other issues that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard, carrying the prices it does. The TV power button did not work, neither did any of the top buttons on the remote. Once I turned the TV on at the GPO and then on the actual TV itself, I was unable to use the connected DVD player as the buttons to switch to it on the remote did not work. Breakfast was quite poor. Basically cereal or scrambled eggs with a few other options such as fruit cups, yoghurt and biscuits. It served my purpose being close to the convention centre, but I doubt I'd stay there again.

Niente semplice. Non nemmeno il servizio in camera colazione disponibile. Sulla nota del ristorante in basso è dove si trovava il ”buffet” colazione e uso quel termine in modo libero. Varieta sorprendente. Anche dover fare i nostri caffè proprio in un piccolo angolo della stanza. Un caffè al momento mentre la linea diventa più grande. Dobbiamo ottenere un ordine speciale per le uova perché le uova schiacciate sono solo muschi. Almeno il tostapane ha funzionato. E lo spazio può essere 20, che è buono per un B&B ma non per un hotel a 16 piani. Abbiamo dovuto fare colazione alle 8 per evitare che le folle aspettassero alle 9 e più tardi. In camera stessa (avevamo una suite), c'erano interruttori di luce ovunque. E erano tutti così confusi che non si poteva vedere quello che avevano detto. Poi l'uomo in bagno doveva andare e chiudere la porta per accedere a lei. Nessun ventilatore per doccia. Le matite del bagno sono così sottili che si bagnano immediatamente dopo una doccia. Nessun lavatrice del viso. Il banco era troppo basso per una bagno. Gli asciugamani erano troppo bassi. La camera da letto era molto grande, ma la pressione del doccia era buona. TV remota non funzionava bene, non poteva trovare tutte le strutture come caffè, tè, frigo, ecc. Non c'era una cartina d'albergo carina per aiutarci a uscire. Il “ufficio” era il televisore quando c’era spazio nella zona del soggiorno per avere un ufficio, e poi abbiamo avuto un balcone senza sedie o tavolo da sedere (potete facilmente avere qualche posto fuori e sgomberarli per la sicurezza). Le cose di temperatura non mi fanno nemmeno iniziare. Non mi piacevano letti e le mutande. Ho finito di dormire sul salotto, perché era più comodo. Non credo che sarò di nuovo presto. Non era orribile, ma non era grande. Il personale era bello, anche se ciò era un bel cambiamento

È stato un piacevole soggiorno 2-night nella camera gemella Oceanview. Ci sono stati offerti un aggiornamento per solo $20 al giorno per godere un balcone, sicuramente vale la pena! Amo la posizione, così vicino alle negozi con molte opzioni di cibo e bevande. I bambini e io abbiamo avuto un bel tempo per rilassarsi nella piscina riscaldata e nel bagno, anche nel freddo tempo. - Signor Presidente, signore.

It was a good stay. The room is spacious and exceptionally clean. Their amenities are above average. The hotel is quite new and I hope they can maintain the cleanliness in the next few years. In terms of customer service, I think they can do better if they want to live up the name as “luxury escape” in Murray Bridge. The room is quite hot for us and adjusting it manually is prohibited as the A/C can only go down to 20 degrees celsius “auto”. We kept asking the front desk to make our room a bit cooler. Some staff are tremendously helpful but some of them don’t know how to operate it in their end. One staff even promised to ask for assistance from their colleagues but they never did and nothing happened. The view in our room is impressive but the sliding glass doors are quite dirty which defeats the purpose why we paid extra dollars to have a nice view. The cleaner said that they have a professional cleaner who does it twice a year only. In the lounge bar, we decided to have a coffee after we checked out and were fortunate to enjoy live music every last Sunday of the month. The waiter promptly delivered our orders to our table. However, no napkins provided and he even spilled the coffee in our table and didn’t even bother to say anything or even clean it. The breakfast buffet was depressing, we had to eat exactly the same thing during our entire stay. For me, luxury experience is all about the small details, and they would benefit from improving on the small details that they may have overlooked in their service. Overall, I would still recommend it to others and happy to stay again in the future.

In generale la camera sembrava pulita e il letto era costruito ma il letto/letto profumava un po' come un odore corporeo, quindi non sono sicuro se fosse pulito correttamente o se non cambiavano tutti i letti/letti di letto. In cima a questo, ho lasciato un sacchetto di cioccolato di High nel mini frigo e ho dimenticato di prenderli quando ho controllato. Quando ho chiesto quella notte se mi trovavano la ricezione mi ha detto di no e che qualsiasi cibo rimanente sarebbe gettato via. Posso capire se metà mangiata o mangiata aperta debba essere gettata via, ma questi sono cioccolatini non aperti che avevo comprato come regali per la mia famiglia. Sicuramente potrebbero averli tenuti per almeno 24 ore per assicurarsi che l'ospite non tornerà a prenderli? Credo che tutti sappiamo dove sono finiti quei cioccolatini.

L'hotel è situato in posizione comoda vicino al Rundle Mall. Check-in senza intoppi fornito dal personale della reception molto disponibile. La camera è spaziosa e pulita. Altamente consigliato e ci tornerò sicuramente quando sarò in zona.

Brilliant hotel right next to the Adelaide Market and Chinatown . Modern, stylish and comfortable rooms. Check in quick and friendly enough. I didn’t get the chance to check out the in-house rooftop bar Or restaurants but they looked good!

La cosa migliore di questo hotel è che si trova nel centro della città. È a piedi dal centro di Rundle Mall e Adelaide Convention Centre. Ha anche un grande spa e una piscina decente di dimensioni; un buffet per colazione e un bar con orario felice ogni giorno. Consigliamo molto questo posto!

Stayed here over Christmas. Room had a kitchen - dishwasher, oven + microwave + washer dryer + balcony over looking convention centre. Lovely stay, comfy bed, quiet'ish - the toilet sounds like a water pump everytime it fills up. Bathroom/shower is a little dated but functional. Parking is 30$ per day (reasonably priced - unlimited entry during the stay) Overall a great stay!! Will definitely comeback!!!
