Australia: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Australia Meridionale

The hotel is conveniently located about 10 to 15 mins walk across parklands from East Terrace in the city which is where most of the popular restaurants and cafes are. During our stay, the preparation for the V8 car races was ongoing and many of the roads were blocked off. But finding a detour was easy enough. The hotel has limited onsite parking but there are plenty of spaces in the quiet residential streets behind the hotel. The hotel’s reception also manages the Econo Lodge Hotel which is located across the street and has its own parking. We only stayed for 1 night and did not get to try the restaurant onsite. The rooms layouts were not exactly rectangular but they were big enough to accommodate a king and a single bed and a pull out bed from under the single bed. A good and unusual feature was a power point built into the bed side cabjnet which works well for those with a need to use CPAP machines or for charging devices. There was a study/work table in the room that is useful for business travellers.

La prima volta soggiorno e molto impressionato con la qualità delle camere e delle strutture di questo nuovo hotel. La colazione era eccellente e camera da letto spaziosa e tranquilla. Camera richiesta con vista sulla città ma non completamente realizzata dalla nostra 1° piano.

It was ok, but not more. The two most important things for me in any hotel are a comfortable bed and a good shower. the bed was great but the water pressure in the shower was very poor. Aside from that, there were other issues that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard, carrying the prices it does. The TV power button did not work, neither did any of the top buttons on the remote. Once I turned the TV on at the GPO and then on the actual TV itself, I was unable to use the connected DVD player as the buttons to switch to it on the remote did not work. Breakfast was quite poor. Basically cereal or scrambled eggs with a few other options such as fruit cups, yoghurt and biscuits. It served my purpose being close to the convention centre, but I doubt I'd stay there again.

Abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel per il compleanno di mio marito e abbiamo avuto un bel tempo. Amiamo la piscina riscaldata e il jacuzzi. La stanza era molto spaziosa e confortevole. Il colazione era un po' deludente, molto convulso e il personale stava lottando per mantenersi alzato, non si sentiva come un'esperienza di cinque stelle. Balcone molto piccolo, senza vista, quindi non si poteva usare uno. Il servizio era eccellente e il personale era molto amichevole.

Very happy with the service regarding my order for additional services - eg surprise flowers and a birthday cake. All was very well communicated and the execution was exceptional - was a lovely surprise for my partner. Breakfast was also delicious. Thank you Grand for making our stay truely memorable.

It was a good stay. The room is spacious and exceptionally clean. Their amenities are above average. The hotel is quite new and I hope they can maintain the cleanliness in the next few years. In terms of customer service, I think they can do better if they want to live up the name as “luxury escape” in Murray Bridge. The room is quite hot for us and adjusting it manually is prohibited as the A/C can only go down to 20 degrees celsius “auto”. We kept asking the front desk to make our room a bit cooler. Some staff are tremendously helpful but some of them don’t know how to operate it in their end. One staff even promised to ask for assistance from their colleagues but they never did and nothing happened. The view in our room is impressive but the sliding glass doors are quite dirty which defeats the purpose why we paid extra dollars to have a nice view. The cleaner said that they have a professional cleaner who does it twice a year only. In the lounge bar, we decided to have a coffee after we checked out and were fortunate to enjoy live music every last Sunday of the month. The waiter promptly delivered our orders to our table. However, no napkins provided and he even spilled the coffee in our table and didn’t even bother to say anything or even clean it. The breakfast buffet was depressing, we had to eat exactly the same thing during our entire stay. For me, luxury experience is all about the small details, and they would benefit from improving on the small details that they may have overlooked in their service. Overall, I would still recommend it to others and happy to stay again in the future.

Veramente buona posizione a Adelaide CBD. È stato conveniente colazione complimentare e tappo zip nel lobby. Solo in basso non c'è nessuna pantaloncini d'albergo complimentare nella stanza. Rimarrei qui ancora una volta per la mia prossima visita ad ADL

This is a pretty good (though expensive) hotel in a great location. The decor may be starting to age, but its not too bad just yet, and I absolutely love the layout that allows the bathroom to be open to the room or closed off. The luxury feel of the bathroom quickly wears off when you get into the shower and wait fifteen minutes for hot water, especially when the water is coming through an ageing water saving shower head that probably should have been replaced during the previous Gulf War. I visited during Fringe, so the streets were loud, but the hotel is right in the thick of it if that's your thing (it was mine). I was impressed with how the noise from outside could be lowered reasonably well with both the balcony and inner windows closed. I was less impressed with the little sign that said they cared for the environment, which was a kind of care that didn't seem to extend to the provision of a recycling bin, which seems rather contradictory. It did, however extend to actually having the fridge off for my arrival, despite it having minibar items in it! A very strange arrangement indeed, as it renders the minibar useless until the fridge can be brought down to temperature. But overall, I had a great stay. The bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the location was excellent.

Ambiente sicuro per i viaggiatori soli.. un po' stanco e bisogno di un aggiornamento ma conveniente in buona zona. Giardini e terreni hanno bisogno di tempi. Godetevi sempre il mio soggiorno qui

Tom’s Court Hotel is located on King William Street which is the main North South thoroughfare in Adelaide CBD. It is also very close to China Town which is a few minutes walk to the north west centred around Gouger Street. The hotel has modern rooms with decent bathroom and toiletries. Limited secure parking is available at a cost of $25 but is located three streets down in Sydney Place. Alternatively one can park overnight on the street.
