L'intera esperienza è molto buona, l'ambiente è molto pulito, e non ci sono molte scelte per la colazione.

La stazione ferroviaria principale dista circa 22 minuti a piedi, su un percorso prevalentemente pianeggiante. Dato che era bassa stagione, l'addetto ci ha assegnato rapidamente una camera, il che è stata una piacevole sorpresa. La maggior parte degli hotel in Europa non dispone di bollitori per l'acqua calda, ma questo hotel sì, con una temperatura di 10 gradi. La camera è pulita e ordinata. Anche la colazione era abbondante e soddisfacente.

I recently had the privilege of staying at Apukka Resort in Rovaniemi, Finland, and it was undoubtedly the highlight of my Scandinavian journey. From the moment I arrived in this snowy wonderland, with daily temperatures around -7°C, to my cozy cabin room, everything about Apukka was simply amazing. Having to see the mesmerizing Northern Lights from my bed was a dream come true. The comfortable bed, warm water, and the delicious food served at the restaurant made each moment special. The view of the frozen lake was nothing short of magical; it felt like stepping into an AI painting turned real. Even in the cold, I had one of the best swing rides of my life with the view of the lake. As someone from warm and sunny Singapore, this escape to the cold was a unique and unforgettable experience. The reception team at Apukka was top-notch, and they even had a room ready for me when I arrived slightly earlier than check-in time, which was a great relief after my long journey from Copenhagen. But it wasn't just the accommodations and the views that made my stay exceptional. I also had the pleasure of experiencing a thrilling husky ride and learning about how these incredible dogs are trained from puppies to their role as working animals. The passion and knowledge of the guides who led this adventure were truly remarkable. The 'Meet the Reindeer' session was a delightful educational experience. I gained a newfound appreciation for these magnificent creatures and learned so much about their role in the local culture and environment. The guides who accompanied us during the husky and reindeer experiences were nothing short of amazing. Their expertise and enthusiasm added a whole new dimension to the trip. Apukka Resort delivered a magical and unforgettable experience. The comfortable bed, the regular appearance of the Northern Lights, the enriching encounters with huskies and reindeer, and the exceptional guides all contributed to making this trip one of the best times of my life. We stayed at Pyhalinna and overall found the apartment itself to be decent. The facilities inside the unit were quite complete and convenient. However, the cleanliness was disappointing — the bed sheets were not clean when we arrived. The funny (and slightly frustrating) part was that after we reported it, someone came to do a light cleaning of the room (even though we were previously told mid-stay cleaning required an extra fee), but the sheets still weren’t changed. The property is ski-in/ski-out and located next to the “family slope,” but there are many areas that really need improvement. First of all, for beginners without a car, it takes around 30 minutes to walk down to the base area to rent equipment(experienced can use the shop on the mountain), and the path is quite unsafe. Honestly, this alone almost made me give a one-star review. Secondly, the so-called family slope wasn’t fully open, and the upper section was surprisingly steep — definitely not what we expected for a family-friendly run. Returning the rental equipment was also inconvenient; you must ski all the way to the bottom because the shop on the mountain doesn’t accept returns. After returning our equipment, we were very lucky that the ski patrol officer Markus kindly offered to take us back up the hotel. We really appreciated his help — without him, it would have been another long and difficult walk. There are simply many practical issues that should be improved. I truly hope the resort can learn from more established ski destinations to create a safer and more beginner-friendly experience. The positive interactions with the staff were the main reason we didn’t give this place a one-star rating — they truly made a difference despite the other issues. L'alloggio è molto mal situato, sul bordo della strada, che impedisce di dormire bene. Le lieu a des lumières qui clignotent jusqu'à 3 heures du matin, ce qui empêche d'observer les étoiles ou de regarder les aurores boréales. Se vuoi riprendere il sonno, dimenticate questa idea! La sala d’eau est toute petite, l’accès à l’eau chaude est de 15 minutes (puis eau froide pendant 30 minutes) et pour bénéficier d’un sauna (dans un autre endroit) il faut payer environ 100 euros. Ho pagato 10 euro di più per avere un letto bambino mentre il prezzo del posto è già chiaramente molto sopralcitato! Il ristorante non è molto buono e le persone che si sono registrate alla ricezione o sono sul partenza attraversano in mezzo a creare un orribile flusso d’aria. J’ai du quemander du lait chaud lors du petit déjeuner (qui n’est pas proposé). Inoltre, le bevande sono anche a metà pensione. La camera è chiaramente troppo piccola per due adulti e un bambino (+ un bambino). Le attività sono fuori prezzo. Abbiamo soggiornato in diversi luoghi e abbiamo preso una sola notte in questo alloggio e fortunatamente !! Un rapporto qualità prezzo che non è del tutto a la altezza.

L'hotel Santa Holidays Village è ottimo per le famiglie. Fate attenzione alle prenotazioni che fate su Trip, noi abbiamo prenotato uno chalet per 2 adulti e 2 bambini, arrivando al check-in ci è stato detto che Trip era riservato solo per due adulti e quindi i bambini vanno pagati extra. Non è grave che TRIP non comunichi il prezzo reale al momento della prenotazione. Questo sito manca di trasparenza (si limita a notare che l'hotel potrebbe addebitare costi aggiuntivi per i bambini senza dirvi quanto e soprattutto senza dirvi che hanno prenotato solo per due persone). Quindi la cosa peggiore è avere una stanza che non è adatta nemmeno ad una famiglia. A Babbo Natale abbiamo dovuto pagare 30€/notte a bambino (per fortuna avevamo prenotato uno chalet quindi era abbastanza grande per 4). Abbiamo avuto la stessa esperienza in un altro hotel nello stesso periodo (apukka resort) che ci ha fatto pagare 100€ a notte per bambino in igloo, fortunatamente l'igloo assegnatoci poteva ospitare 2 bambini altrimenti non saremmo stati in grado di ospitarne 4 di noi.

Wilderness Hotel Juutua is a charming and peaceful hotel located just outside the town center of Inari, right next to Lake Inari. The lakeside location is truly beautiful, offering stunning natural views and a calm atmosphere that feels very special, especially in winter. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, with warm smiles that make guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. The room is warm and comfortable, which is important in the cold Lapland climate. However, the room feels quite small for two people, especially when traveling with luggage. Moving around and storing suitcases can be a bit inconvenient. Bathroom amenities are mostly sufficient, but toothbrushes and razors are not provided, which would be expected at this level of hotel. Other amenities are well prepared. Breakfast quality is good, but unfortunately we could not fully enjoy it because it closes too early at 10:00 AM, which may not be ideal for guests who prefer a relaxed morning or late start. Overall, Wilderness Hotel Juutua offers a beautiful lakeside setting, warm hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere. Despite some minor drawbacks such as room size and limited bathroom amenities, it is still a very pleasant stay and a great choice for travelers looking to experience the natural beauty of Inari.

Manipolazione mal gestita durante il controllo. Prenoto un appartamento per 2 notti per questo soggiorno, ma ho la stanza per 1 notte ciascuna. Il personale mi ha detto che domani devo cambiare la stanza e controllare al 12PM. Quindi, per la prima notte, io rimango e domani, controllare 12PM e aspettare una nuova stanza. Inoltre, l'appartamento è molto lontano dalla ricezione. Fortunatamente, ho una macchina. Immagina se non ho una macchina, devo portare un bagaglio grande dall'appartamento alla ricezione per controllare e aspettare una nuova stanza più tardi e trasferire il mio bagaglio in una nuova stanza, come è stato? Inoltre, quando esco al 12PM il personale mi ha detto che la stanza sarebbe pronta per il controllo in circa 2 ore. Poi è tornato a controllare di nuovo per un secondo al 3PM un altro personale mi ha detto che la stanza non è ancora pronta e la politica per il controllo dell'appartamento in tempo è 6PM. ***!!! Ho detto che avevo bisogno della stanza ora perché non era accettabile, e poi il personale mi ha detto che la stanza era pronta e mi ha dato la carta chiave. Perciò, per questa situazione, sto perdendo il tempo per metà giorno per imballare il mio bagaglio, trasferire un sacco di bagagli nella mia macchina con un sacco di neve, controllare fuori, andare alla ricezione per controllare fuori, aspettare la nuova stanza, aspettare, aspettare, aspettare, e torna a controllare e ha una risposta molto cattiva che ha detto che la stanza non è pronta, e andare a controllare di nuovo, spostare il mio bagaglio in un nuovo appartamento con molta neve, e prendere un riposo. VERO GRAZO!!!!

Si trova all'interno dell'area del villaggio di Babbo Natale, richiede circa 400 m di cammino, passando per un giro in husky, salmone arrosto, ristoranti prima di raggiungere l'ufficio di Babbo Natale. Abbiamo trascorso una notte nell'igloo, con colazione occidentale standard fornita. L'unica cosa che mi ha deluso è che, forniscono una cena gratuita (piatto principale) per tutti gli ospiti, ma non siamo stati informati dall'orario del check-in, alla fine, abbiamo comprato la nostra cena da asporto da un ristorante vicino, e ci è stato detto di ordinare il piatto principale quando abbiamo ritirato la chiave della camera alla reception. La cosa peggiore è che non forniscono il servizio in camera, non abbiamo avuto scelta di portare 2 piatti del piatto principale al nostro igloo. Il resto è buono a parte questo.

Awesome service, the front counter guy is really nice and patient to help us in any quires. The room is clean with nice sea view. Feeling quite well to see the sky stars when lying down on the bed in the night and the morning sky is super beautiful. Plus, the hotel price includes free tickets for experience 365, we enjoyed a lot there. .
