Vietnam: hotel con bar nella provincia di Provincia di Thanh Hoa

MELIA VINPEARL in downtown Thanh Hoa is a six-star hotel, masquerading as a five-star home away from home, to re-quote a line from my previous review of my favourite KL hotel. But Melia is even more of a home away from home for a neighbouring guest like me from Asean because Thanh Hoa isn't exactly a bustling capital city as Kuala Lumpur (KL)...or a country where English or Malay (my native tongues) predominates. It's got more of a rural city countryside vibe, steeped in the soul of national history, like Jogjakarta in Indonesia, for instance.  It claims Vietnam's earliest legendary hero Le Loi as its hometown hero although he's accurately from a small hamlet nearer to its airport in Tho Xuan, called Lam Son; which apparently is being scaled upfor high-end tourism.  Back to Melia Vinpearl in Thanh Hoa. Why do I love i, rate it and recommend it without reserve?  Two reasons which are from the top, literally: 1. Its hotel manager, Robert Ngo, a hometown boy from Kon Tum (a 20-hour bus ride away in Vn's Central Highlands), now calls Da Nang home, but whose full dynamic homework is all about ensuring the energetic vibes of this gem of a hotel. You can feel the sense of being cocooned and spoiled by its A-star service and staff - from frint-desk to backend (housekeeping, room service et.al) and this energy originates from Robert (see pic of Bob and me at the breakfast buffet on the 6/f which has a fantastic spread.  The USP of Robert's theme is, well, pretty basic at its roots: pricing. The rates are horribly impossible to reject for such all-round six-star excellence.  2. Its 34th-storey penthouse-feel restaurant whose menu was curated by Robert personally when he took charge a couple of years back. He leveraged on the strongest suit of the hotel's class master chef, focusing on honing the latter's favourite culinary skillls.  A pared-down menu where each dish starts with delicious and elevates to 😋 yum 😋 excellence. My particular favourite: the boneless chicken served  with a side of mashed potatoes. Irresistible! And that's coming from a culinary curmudgeon who likes chicken least of all ”meats” despite originating from the homes of Chinese chicken rice - Malaysia and Singapore. If you wanna get the calming comfort of a long cool evening indoors dining for a couple of hours, this sky-high restaurant is the place...and sharing it with the hotel's watering hole - the Skybar - helps. The frozen margaritas ate consistently excellent and the whiskey sour, superb. As for the rest of the hotel, well, it's worth every ringgit, sgd, USD, Euro and yeah, penny you have for a trip's accommodation - go find out. It's utterly value-added worth it!  YAP, Koon Hong Malaysian-born Singaporean, who may well decide to call Vietnam home soon. 🇸🇬 🇲🇾🇻🇳

친구들과 처음 방문한 호텔이었는데.. 모든 면에서 만족스러웠어요.. (방음 문제 빼고) 골프 라운딩 하기에도 너무 좋았어요.. 방문한 날 한국 골프 프로들이 전지 훈련 왔었어요. 다음에 기회가 되면 또 방문 하고 싶네요.

Khách sạn mới, đẹp, giá hợp lý, chuẩn dịch vụ. Phòng rộng rãi. Với 1 đơn vị lữ hành tôi thấy hài lòng. Khách sạn rất sạch và rất đẹp , ăn sáng ngon nhưng quá ít sự lựa chọn , ko nên tự bật tivi quảng cáo buổi sáng khi khách đang ngủ 👌

Clean, cospicue camera, comode letti, buona vista dalla finestra (grande finestre). Ci è un grande negozio vicino (circa 5 minuti di auto). Balcone. Parcheggio gratuito all'hotel

The best stunning view from my room . Good food at the restaurant for lunch & dinner. Just basic breakfast.

The hotel is very centrally located, near lots of shops and restaurants. The room was a good size and clean. The bathroom layout was a bit odd and there was no shower curtain. There is a parking garage available. Breakfast was quite good and with a reasonable selection.

La mia recente permanenza in questo hotel è stata piacevole. Il proprietario e il personale erano molto gentile e utile. Il cibo era buono e la posizione è conveniente. In generale, un'esperienza soddisfacente e mi riferirei al ritorno.

L'hotel è un'albergo molto bello, ma non è vicino alle belle viste, alle attrazioni o ai ristoranti, quindi si basa sul trasporto che l'hotel può chiarire. Non hanno annunciato alcuna attività e, poiché il loro inglese non era grande, è un tipo di sinistra con l'organizzazione di se stessi. È stato anche difficile contattarli bc che non sono veloce in risposta alle email, non c'è alcun numero WhatsApp sul loro sito web, e non potevo chiamare con il mio pacchetto di dati telefonici. Così, mentre l'alloggio è grande e Pu Luong è incredibilmente bella, il personale dell'hotel potrebbe essere più prossimo con il servizio clienti.

Come già scritto, per arrivare all'hotel è necessario superare una collina forte (molto forte!), e quando avete due valigie sani e pioggia - il compito non è semplice. C'è un caricatore all'hotel - si può chiedere aiuto. L'hotel stesso si trova vicino alle più belle terrazze (va alla riserva stessa, ma la vista sarà umile). Devi prendere una bicicletta - perché le altezze sono finite (ci siamo camminati, che poi ci siamo rammaricati), non chiamare un taxi in questa zona. E non tutti i locali sono d'accordo a prendere un denaro. L'hotel è un piacere: un look chic, un personale molto responsabile. Minorità: Non c'è una doccia, l'acqua fluisce sul pavimento al bagno, per cui il pavimento costantemente bagnato e le gambe (le tracce iniziano a estendersi in tutta la stanza), crudo. Non c'è va faya, ma non siamo critici. Nessun isolamento acustico - sia i vicini dal fondo che tutto ciò che sta accadendo intorno. La colazione è normale, ma non gli piaceva quella porzione per due. Se la salada per due è sufficiente, non c'è omeletta. E'un minus. In generale, le notti sono buone 1-2.
