Portogallo: hotel con bar nella provincia di Distretto di Évora

Had a wonderful stay at the Convento de Arraiolos, even if a slightly eventful. Arriving late at night, we found the reception empty and had to wander though the hotel grounds - which are not small - searching for someone to talk to. Eventually we found the restaurant and a member of staff sent word to the receptionist. I couldn't help but wonder if we weren't interrupting the young lady's dinnertime... She was very apologetic for the absence, and even told us to use the internal pool and sauna, even though it was already well beyond operating hours. Both pools are excellent, and the sauna soothing after a very long day. The bed was super comfortable and breakfast quite good - don't miss the local cheeses and bread! Even though the hotel seemed to be running quite short staffed - which may account for the fact we found uncollected trash in the bathroom bin - the staff were impeccable and highly professional. Moreover, the tennis court is in a state of disarray, the pavement sure looks in need of a makeover. All in all definitely recommended for a wonderful stay and relaxation, just some management decisions seem baffling, at a place run by a brand of such reputation as the Pestana group.

Peaceful place, in an historic building, wonderful view from the hill to the castle walls and city. Book upper floors rooms. Very clean and comfortable. The pool area is comfortable, grass floor, umbrellas and chairs available. Breakfast is ok, enough choices. Indoor room, wish it would have seating outside.

Uno dei migliori ostelli che abbia mai soggiornato! Il personale era incredibilmente gentile, le camere e le bagni erano super pulite e la terrazza e le aree di vita erano davvero belle!

Ottima struttura, personale estremamente attento, le camere sono di buona qualità, dormire se molto bene, molto bene insonorizzato, non si ascolta nessun altro ospite. Colazione impeccabile e adattato per i celiac. Raccomando vivamente

The first thing you’ll hear when you arrive are birds chirping. It’s like stepping into Garden of Eden. The hotel is world class in terms of architecture, amenities, service and history. The concierge is very helpful and knowledgeable, they gave me a personalised itinerary suggestions when I checked in, arranged taxis, and even made sure to check on my safety as I am a solo lady travelling in Portugal. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat. It’s a perfect getaway for stressed out business travellers.

The approach to the hotel is uninspiring which makes your arrival in a modern manicured property all the more surprising. The hotel is well thought out, set up for a very chilled out time and service and facilities are excellent. We did not give a full 5 for one reason which for some could be a blocker. This hotel is very popular with young families, for very good reasons but if you want a quiet retreat keep this in mind If on the other hand you have young children it is a great place.

Questo è il miglior hotel per soggiornare in Evora. Non mi aspettavo che un hotel così moderno e ben mantenuto fosse in una piccola città. Camminare a distanza da molte attrazioni e ristoranti. Il personale è gentile n parla inglese. La stanza che si trova verso l'indietro è tranquilla e comoda. Il parcheggio è sicuro, gratuito per gli ospiti.

- Le camere sono ampie e belle, le aree comuni sono ben decorate - I prodotti igienici sono molto odori. - La piscina è calda e confortevole. - Il colazione e' meraviglioso, così come la possibilità di avere la casa accendibile. - Abbiamo ricevuto frutta, acqua, dolci e una bottiglia di vino di produzione proprio all'ingresso. Tuttavia, per un hotel di 5 stelle e praticando i prezzi che pratica, ci sono alcune cose che devono essere migliorate con urgenza: - La pulizia: tessuti di spugna ben visibili negli angoli delle camere, dietro letto, sulle scale di accesso al spa, sul tetto della piscina, ecc - Mancanza di cassette di rifiuti: siamo stati in una villa di 3 camere, aveva solo una piccola cassetta di rifiuti in ogni WC. Non ci sono nemmeno molti cassette per la proprietà. - WC: manca un posto per appendere gli asciugamani. Il bagno ha una doccia a mano con una manica di 1 metro, non basta per riuscire a prendere un bagno in piedi, abbiamo dovuto usare il doccia di tetto. Non riuscivamo neanche a fare il bagno perché la copertura del buco non si chiuse. - Minibar: Il frigorifero del minibar non rinfrescava quasi nulla e aveva un odore fetizio, anche molto sgradevole che si diffuse rapidamente attraverso la stanza. Inoltre, alcune politiche dell'hotel potrebbero essere modificate a mio avviso: - L'elemento di servizio in camera è molto limitato in numero di opzioni e le opzioni che ha sono molto complesse. Non ha, per esempio, un tostapane misto, o qualcosa del genere semplice. - La piscina interna è limitata a meno di 14 anni, ad eccezione della stagione invernale dalle 9 alle 11 e dalle 19 alle 21h. Mi sembrano orari fatti per dissuadere i bambini e i loro genitori dall'uso della piscina. - La luce nelle stanze delle città è praticamente inesistente (una lampada e una lampada di lettura, entrambi con luce gialla). La politica dell'hotel è avere la luce ridotta, ma diventa inconfortabile quando non si può leggere un libro dopo l'oscurità.

Amazing experience, the hotel and facilities are excellent and with a perfect location. The breakfast was great and the service from arrival to departure all the team members were excellent and professional. Well done to the management and team we will be back
