Giappone: hotel con bar nella provincia di Prefettura di Yamagata

Love this hotel. It's beautifully designed by 坂茂 and it lives up to his fame. The buildings look like they are floating over the rice fields. Both dinners and breakfast were excellent. Most ingredients are sourced locally and they are delicious. But what I love the most is the open baths. Both are small, but they're carefully designed with a tranquil, soothing view. I'd love to come back again just for the hotel.

Really great hotel in Zao onsen. The location is easy to find and free parking for guest. The room is big and clean. I love the window in our room see the snow falling and small pond as well. We didn’t booking the dinner & breakfast so I don’t know the food taste. However, onsen is really great!! I love outdoor onsen that you can see the view of Zao mountain while bathing and snow falling to your head!! but just scare of bear. So nice to stayed here!

È un hotel molto grande, 3 edifici sono collegati e ci sono molte camere. Le camere sono un po 'invecchiate ma ancora ben mantenute. Il servizio è stato buono e flessibile. Il trasporto verso il villaggio è assolutamente necessario quando le strade sono coperte di neve, soprattutto con bagagli, e hanno un autobus gratuito che è grande. I migliori: 1. Il semi-buffet per cena ha bevande alcoliche illimitate, tra cui sake locale, progetti di birra e vini. 2. Il negozio di noleggio di ski & tavolo è al di fuori dell'hotel. Sebbene l'hotel accetta solo i soldi per il biglietto di ascensore, è possibile noleggiare l'attrezzatura (il negozio di noleggio accetta la carta di credito) e sciare in fondo alla collina (20 sec) al conto di biglietto via cavo per acquistare il biglietto, pagato con carta di credito.

The hotel location is excellent and very convenient. The room is also very spacious and comfortable. However, one thing we were slightly disappointed with was that our request for two extra bottles of water was declined by the front desk, as they mentioned only two bottles are provided per day. We’re not sure if this is a standard policy across hotels in Japan. Overall, we were still very satisfied with our stay.

お風呂は客室には無く、大浴場で、23時に閉まります。 どうやらビジネスホテルのような形の新館と元々ある旅館の本館とで別のようです 内装は新しくて綺麗でした。 駅からかなり近いのですが、雪が積もってしまい周辺はそこまで歩行者用道路がなくタクシーを呼びました。 雪の降らない県に住んで居ると慣れないため、気をつけた方が良いかもしれません

Love that the hotel is just across the road from Zao Chuo ropeway where we had our ski lessons. Ski shop just few steps away (with discount for hotel guests). Super convenient! Room was relatively spacious though bathroom is a tad small. Bought the half board package with breakfast and dinner, which had more than ample portions. Hotel Onsen was also a nice experience, esp. the outdoor one. Highly recommend.

Un resort termale perfetto. Le sorgenti termali erano molto piacevoli, la cena abbondante e il servizio estremamente attento e meticoloso. Non ci sono molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze, quindi è ideale per un viaggio in auto. Ci tornerei sicuramente se ne avessi l'occasione.

Right in front of the Sakata station  Our room is comfortable with very good panoramic Mountain View. While we staying, a space connected to the lobby there was an event selling local products such as sake, fresh produces, craft etc.  Very good breakfast Highly recommended. If you have time, Ken Domon museum of photography(just outside the city of Sakata) is a  must.
