Giappone: hotel con bar nella provincia di Prefettura di Miyagi

Fantastic hotel in a very convenient location. It is close to everything, including Sendai Station, shops, and bus stops, with several convenience stores nearby. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It had live music, free refreshments for guests after 3 p.m., and live piano performances in the afternoon. In the morning, there was live organ music, which created a very special atmosphere. The staff were always polite and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had great views.

Our 8-day stay at Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East was exceptional from start to finish. We booked a Superior Double room, and it felt surprisingly spacious and comfortable—especially for an extended stay. If I had to sum up this hotel in one word, it would be convenience. Its location directly within Sendai Station makes getting around effortless. Trains, buses, and a wide variety of dining options are all just steps away, which made exploring the area incredibly easy. The breakfast selection was generous and satisfying, offering plenty of options to start the day well. What truly stood out, however, was the customer service—consistently attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. We would absolutely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sendai.

Grande posizione, a pochi minuti’ a piedi dalla stazione JR Sendai molto conveniente. La dimensione della camera è tipica per il Giappone ma ben organizzata e confortevole. Pulizia e ben mantenuta, con un bagno completamente attrezzato. Il personale era gentile e utile, e il check-in era regolare, e vi sono negozi di comodità vicino, che rendeva ancora più conveniente.

La posizione dell'hotel è conveniente solo passeggiare lungo il cielo passeggiando attraverso l'edificio AER vedrai l'hotel.La camera è più grande dell'altro hotel che abbiamo soggiornato durante questo viaggio di 13 giorni. Ci siamo stati qui per 2 notti. Il primo giorno del nostro soggiorno, sono state fornite nella stanza due bottiglie d'acqua, un set di tè verde e caffè. Perche' vogliamo salvare l'ambiente, così abbiamo concordato con l'hotel di non cambiare asciugamani e lettini.Il secondo giorno non c'era niente che fosse solo la raccolta di bagagli.Ma la camera del mio amico era diversa. Tutto è stato fornito perché non hanno detto nulla, anche se non volevamo cambiare la lama o l'armadio, ma vogliamo ancora bere caffè o tè. Così siamo stati confusi con il servizio dell'hotel.Comunque, abbiamo ancora raccomandato questo hotel a chiunque venga a Sendai.

I booked a twin room to stay with my friend during our holiday in Tohoku area. The room is very clean, with all sufficient facilities. Bathroom is nice and also clean. We like the location which is in a walking distance to Sendai Station, Sendai Asaichi and Ichibanko walking avenue. We did not take the buffet breakfast so could not comment on it.

Ho fatto il check-in per la seconda volta, questa volta la camera dava sulla strada, senza vista mare. La sorgente termale al piano inferiore è molto confortevole, soprattutto la vasca esterna con vista sul mare, con grandi macchie di foglie rosse che scendono oblique accanto ad essa: è una vista magnifica.

L'hotel è situato in posizione strategica, proprio accanto alla stazione di Sendai. Nei dintorni della stazione si trovano numerosi ristoranti e grandi magazzini, rendendo molto agevole lo shopping e la ristorazione. Tornerò sicuramente in questo hotel la prossima volta che sarò a Sendai!

This was my third stay at The Westin Sendai, and I continue to love both the hardware and the service. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the two restaurants are truly excellent — always one of the highlights of my trip. However, during this visit, the lady at the lobby reception was not as helpful as expected. While she remained polite, her attitude felt a bit less sincere compared to my past experiences. That was the only small disappointment in an otherwise wonderful stay.

The ryokan location is excellent. My room has a huge picture window facing east. I can see the famous bay with its many islands, including the Fukuura island (福浦𡷊), in the morning with wonderful sun rise view. The Japanese breakfasts were excellent especially the one on our second day… fresh grilled fish, etc.. The Kaiseki dinners for both nights were wonderful with fresh grilled fish and high grade wagyu beef plus oyster cooked to perfection. The Onsens on the other hand are just Okay. However with the view of Fukuura island and its red bridge … nice.
