Regno Unito: hotel con bar nella provincia di Highlands

I asked for a quiet room and was placed on 1st floor however in a room closest to the main road with lots of traffic noise and there was construction going on nearby with constant drilling and noise until 4am so I never managed to sleep for most of the night, meaning that I couldn’t get up early to use the facilities. It’s not the staffs fault, but just be careful when booking.

The hotel is in need of updating and refurb. No free wifi. Furniture is old. That said, the check in was friendly and efficient and all the staff I came across were good to deal with. I had a meal in the bar. Food was fine and a decent size. Breakfast gave enough choice from a continental style buffet. The bedroom was away from outside noise. Just a bit of noise as other guests came and went. Tired bathroom but everything worked. For a one night stopover as a solo traveller it was fine.

This is a genuinely nice hotel sat right on the banks of the River Ness and a few minutes walk from the center of Inverness. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast had a good range of choices and was delicious. The staff were polite and friendly and were very happy to fuss over my small child!

Veramente grande Hotel. Più economico intorno anche così non si ottiene davvero quando le persone prenotano alberghi economici e si lamentano che non è 5* 😂. Posizione è sorprendente. Il lago è bellissimo. Il personale è davvero bello. Le camere hanno tutto quello che ti serve e sono abbastanza spaziose. Il cibo è davvero buono, anche se un po' costoso ma ancora buono in porzioni.

Le domande postate all'hotel prima della nostra arrivo sono state risposte rapidamente e sono state molto utili.  Un benvenuto molto caldo all'arrivo della signorina Mary, che era anche quella che rispondeva alle nostre email.  Amico personale.Ci ha dato grandi suggerimenti su cosa vedere e fare in questo settore.  Raccomandiamo molto questo posto a tutti.

Great staff, nice room, very comfy bed but let down by some grubby stains on the carpet and a previous guests medication and yoghurt left in the fridge. Would stay again though

L'hotel è stato la base perfetta per viaggiare l'isola di Skye! Check-in è stato facile, ci sono stati molti parcheggi (alcune vicine, alcune lontane), caffè e colazione aveva alcune selezioni, abbiamo anche cena all'hotel e era fantastico. Dice che non c'è acqua calda in ogni momento, ma abbiamo avuto acqua calda ogni volta che ci siamo docciati con grande pressione acqua!

Per quello che abbiamo pagato per la notte, compreso il colazione, siamo stati sopra la luna! Grande posizione, personale molto efficiente e amichevole, colazione è stata bella con una grande selezione di cereali, frutta ecc seguito da colazione piena delle solite rimedi calde e deliziose! La stanza era sul lato piccolo, ma questo è quello che abbiamo prenotato e pagato per così non è stata una sorpresa. Tutto quello che ci serviva era fornito e la stanza era calda quando ci siamo reclutati. Bella moderna bagno! Il nostro unico “negativo” era la matrice, era molto forte e potrebbe adattare alcune persone ma non noi. Altrimenti avremmo dato i migliori segni!! I giovani signori che hanno preparato il colazione durante il nostro soggiorno erano molto attenti.

Wi-Fi and other amenities worked adequately, though not exceptionally well. Overall, the hotel met basic expectations and provided acceptable value for money. While there were no major issues during the stay, there was also nothing particularly outstanding. It is a suitable option for travelers seeking a comfortable and straightforward stay.

Mia madre e io ci siamo fermati per una notte, volevamo qualcosa di speciale e abbiamo avuto una bella esperienza! Questo hotel può essere vecchio, ma mi è sembrato che fosse parte del fascino, soprattutto perché si può prendere un documento sul desk che vi racconta tutta la storia della sua storia (compreso come Mae West aveva una stanza là!). L’uomo alla ricezione era bellissimo, come il personale del bar, e abbiamo dormito molto in una camera confortevole, bellamente tesa con un grande bagno. Mia madre apprezzava in particolare la Bibbia lasciata al tavolo accanto al letto. Forse è stato fatto da un ospite, ma è stato bello che il personale l’abbia lasciata lì, se qualcuno volesse leggerlo, e ci sono stati pochi tocchi come questo, e abbiamo avuto una vista del giardino che era bella. Il colazione è stato incluso nella nostra prenotazione, e vale la pena!
