Costa Rica: hotel con bar nella provincia di San José

L'hotel resort ha uno splendido scenario naturale e un'area colazione all'aperto. Ho incontrato anche il signor Squirrel, che non ha paura delle persone. The city view was the best part, we got picked up from the hotel for a day tour. Tour guide said we’re in the new buildings area but it’s still unsafe at night so don’t go walking around, but the hotel itself was five to ten minutes from everything else, in the day we did walk around and felt safe, the park is right next to it which was nice to see and of course the stadium, cleanliness and guest services were great accommodating, we had our anniversary dinner at their restaurant and it had great views but service was slow and food was only okay, could’ve/should’ve eaten somewhere else, the best part was the pool on the highest floor, the top four floors were apartments, but the pool is on the highest of their floor, the jacuzzi wasn’t warmed and they warmed us that it wasn’t, but the pool itself was nice to swim in, stayed there for a little over an hour before going to dinner, would definitely go book again

We felt that for an upscale hostel, this place was on a whole, a great experience. My only suggestion is that the rooms need more ventilation. Our 4 person dorm room had a tiny window blocked by the beds. Putting a vent fan in the window would solve this issue. Otherwise, for what it is we loved our 2-night stay here. This was at the end of our 3 week trip and had been to many towns and places across the country, I'd say we met the most friends here and had the best time. The cafe could use more larger/common tables but we were able to meet people easily regardless. They have activities and events to encourage interaction as well as a bar and pizza oven. While these amenities are overpriced, they were convenient and similar to other hotel restaurants/cafes. We didn't feel the staff was pushy at all and if we just wanted to hang out in the cafe we weren't bothered and didn't feel forced to buy something. (and probably because of this, we usually did buy food or drinks) The location was good enough - we could walk to the central market / pedestrian mall in 10 minutes. It's walkable (during daytime) from the 7-10 bus station and the Tuasa bus to the airport. The co-working space we felt was a good value, and fantastic. High powered wifi can support video meetings and it's just across the street. Also somewhat social and a good environment to work. The staff and regular patrons were amazing and we felt that we had new friends as soon as we arrived. The place had a warm feeling that I can't quite describe, created by both the staff and the guests. We didn't want to leave.

This hotel has potential, and location is good if this is the area you need to be. Lots of restaurants nearby, and beside the main road. However, staff needs some training on Customer Service. Some staff are wonderful to be clear, but some have basic training issue. The front desk requires service training on handling guests. Examples: talking to another guest for 5-8 mins only to revert back to me and telling me no receipt because system is down; you could have told me immediately instead of letting me wait. I called up for my laundry, was advised they will check and return my call- after 20 mins, no call, and I have to call again only to be told that I need to go down to pick it up since I have to pay first at the reception (my bill was paid already in advance by my colleague), but hey, am not escaping, you have a copy of my credit card, and my check out is still the ff day. I can follow process, but the reception could have said it in a nicer way- am a paying guest in a Hilton brand, not some hostel paying 20$ a night.

The Hotel Lobby is nice but the rooms are old and with a damp smell. Not enough sockets next to bed to charge phone or devices. Hired a city tour with the operator that works with them that was way too expensive for a 2 hour ride around the city with almost no important stops. It was supposed to include entrance fees and we did not go to any place that had an entrance fee. Better to book tours with some other agency.

Nice hotel and rooms very comfortable. The only issue is the huge traffic jam every morning to get out of the area.

L'hotel NOVO si trova nel centro della città. È vicino al terminale degli autobus TUASA che serve l'aeroporto (e questo non è trascurabile, 1,5 euro per persona invece di 40 euro per un taxi). Mi piaceva: Il prezzo, WI-FI, acqua calda, lettiera, posizione non lontano bus aeroporto. Non mi piace: Il quartiere è un po' buio appena la notte cade, l'intero appartamento è vecchio - Situazione troppo rumorevole perché in centro città tra rumore della strada che inizia la mattina alle 4:30 e il danzaggio a 50 metri tutte le finestre aperte fino alle 2 del mattino, colazione molto leggera, apparecchiature molto vecchie. Camera senza finestre. In sintesi, prezzo economico per una notte 47 euro ma non contare recuperare dal vostro differimento orario.

I had a 5 star experience here for 8 nights and enjoyed a beautiful room overlooking the golf course and mountains. The room service was exceptional particularly the quesadilla and the pasta dishes. The pools were sensational and even tho it was packed there was plenty of room for everyone. The spa was well worth it (ask for Laura) she is the best! I had great housekeeping from Maria on the fifth floor and my favorite bellman was a gentleman named Carlos. Everyone was very friendly and when there were any issues at checkout or checkin they were resolved quickly by the excellent customer support team of Caleb, Jackeline & Gianina all of whom provided impeccable service.

It is a truly special place. But it is not a 5 star as claimed, its just a 4 star and just for minor things that cheapen the experience. One thing that irked me is that they have a coffee machine in the room but one has to go downstairs and buy pods for $1.50 each. This is cheap, small TV, channel guide is not accurate or changed. Having a price list for said breakfast items as simple as oatmeal is also ludicrous and takes away from what should be exceptional for 5 stars the ambiance is wonderful as you feel as if you are staying in an art museum. Will stay again but do not expect a 5 star hotel. exceptional for

El hotel muy bien en general, el staff súper amable y amigable. La comida está varieda, con muy sabor!!! Todo genial!! El hotel se encontraba bien limpio, la piscina también. Las camas cómodas, variedad de almohadas, escritorios amplios para trabajar, una zona muy tranquila y con muy buenos restaurantes alrededor. Aún así, lo mejor es el staff del hotel!!!
