I recently stayed at this brand-new hotel (opened in 2024), and it was such a nice experience. If you want a place with lots of extras, this is it. They have two pool tables, a small rooftop pool, and two gyms—one for yoga and Pilates with all the equipment, and another with treadmills, bikes, free weights, and even a Smith machine. There’s also a laundry room with washers, which was really handy. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, but you’ll want to arrive early to get the best selection. The staff were all very friendly, but Fei Xiu (绯袖) on WeChat was especially helpful—she answered all my questions quickly and made everything easy. The location isn’t right on the riverbank near the Starlight Market, but it’s not far from tourist spots either. It’s actually in a good spot if you want a quieter stay while still being close enough to everything. If you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped hotel with great service, I’d definitely recommend this one!

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo trascorso 3 notti al Banyan Tree Lijiang. Nel complesso, il soggiorno è stato meraviglioso. La struttura è bellissima e tutto il personale è molto cordiale. Abbiamo alloggiato nella villa con due camere da letto, spaziosa per noi quattro. Un appunto: nella villa c'è una vasca da bagno esterna, ma abbiamo scoperto in seguito che non funzionava, il che è stato un peccato. Lo chiamo il top di gamma degli Shangri-La per il relax assoluto. Soggiornare in questo hotel per un giorno ti garantirà divertimento anche senza uscire! Al check-in ti offrono un servizio fotografico in abiti tibetani, 30 minuti di scatti + 3 foto gratuite. Puoi scegliere tra il pascolo o la tua camera. Non devi cercare consigli, è super comodo. Il maggiordomo è sempre disponibile, la colazione, il tè pomeridiano e la zuppa dolce della buonanotte sono tutti organizzati, e ci sono anche simpatici animali con cui interagire! Non preoccuparti troppo per l'altitudine: l'hotel ti darà in anticipo consigli utili sul mal di montagna e sul meteo. Le camere hanno un generatore di ossigeno e un umidificatore. Sono rimasto colpito dall'attenzione ai dettagli.

Mi sono sentito davvero dispiaciuto di lasciare questo posto. L'alloggio è stato fantastico fin dal momento in cui siamo entrati. La reception offre già di per sé tantissimo. Gli animali domestici, con cui i bambini possono giocare e scorrazzare liberi, sono un'esperienza unica. Stavamo per prenotare un Intercontinental, ma sono così contento di non averlo fatto! Il nostro soggiorno qui è stato fantastico, l'arredamento della camera e il bagno. I letti erano comodi, la doccia e i servizi igienici erano puliti e molto lussuosi. L'area colazione sul tetto, a bordo piscina, è uno spettacolo da vedere, con vista sul monte Yulong. Credo che l'alloggio abbia fatto del suo meglio per offrire agli ospiti la migliore esperienza possibile di Lijiang, grazie alla sua posizione. Per quanto divertente sia stata l'esperienza per tutta la famiglia, siamo molto dispiaciuti di andarcene. Lijiang è magica e Paralloge l'ha resa ancora più speciale per noi. Si trova in una zona più tranquilla della città antica, ma ci è sembrata la più comoda da raggiungere con i bagagli e da soli. Anche se non abbiamo dovuto portare i bagagli, abbiamo avuto un maggiordomo che ci ha aiutato a prenderli per noi, comunicando con noi e aiutandoci con qualsiasi cosa di cui avessimo bisogno in ogni momento. Il nostro amico che era a colazione e a prendere il tè pomeridiano parlava un ottimo inglese, è stato molto disponibile e piacevole chiacchierare con lui. Non è difficile comunicare con nessuno. Tutti erano adorabili e sempre sorridenti. Potrei continuare a parlare di ogni momento che abbiamo amato, ma sarebbe un saggio. Torneremo sicuramente ♥️

If it were possible to give more than 5 stars for service, we would. Welcomed at the alley by the manager, greeted with warm smiles and great hospitality towards the kids by giving us a free upgrade to a bigger room (based on availability). Breakfast choices were simple, healthy, and fulfilling each day. Really nothing beats a slow morning looking out at the majestic mountain. The hotel staff were all approachable and easily reached via WeChat, they really went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Rooms were clean and spacious! They also offer a complimentary tea set, a free shuttle to an ancient town of our choice, and a free airport transfer. The hotel is a little hard to find at first, but we had no trouble getting Didi in and out daily. Would stay again if we come back to Lijiang!

Essendo di passaggio a Kunming, ho scelto un hotel della catena Marriott, relativamente conveniente e affidabile. La posizione di questo hotel è ottima. Ho guidato dall'aeroporto di Kunming e le condizioni stradali erano ottime e comode. L'hotel si trova in una zona trafficata e nei dintorni ci sono molti ristoranti e locali per il tempo libero. Ci sono molte vie dello shopping al piano inferiore e molti punti di registrazione per celebrità di Internet. L'hotel è nuovissimo, le camere sono molto pulite e i servizi sono buoni. Il personale della reception è molto entusiasta e professionale, il che è in linea con gli standard di servizio di un hotel a cinque stelle. La colazione è relativamente ricca e gli ingredienti sono molto puliti. Anche il servizio al ristorante è molto buono. Inoltre, all'ottavo piano dell'hotel sono presenti una palestra e un bar. L'unico inconveniente è che il parcheggio gratuito dell'hotel per gli ospiti si trova al quarto piano del parcheggio dall'altra parte della strada. È necessario trasportare i bagagli da soli, il che è un po' scomodo. Ma a questo prezzo, l'hotel può offrire un servizio e delle attrezzature così completi ed entusiasti. Sono molto soddisfatto. Questo hotel merita di essere consigliato.

Mi piace molto questo hotel. La camera è spaziosa, luminosa, confortevole e calda. Ci sono due letti grandi con lenzuola morbide e confortevoli. C'è una grande vasca da bagno 🛁, un WC completamente automatico 🚽 e sono forniti copriwater e coprivasca monouso. I prodotti da bagno sono di buona qualità. Il tè pomeridiano non è superficiale, è bello e delizioso. Anche la colazione è buona. Il ristorante al quinto piano ha una splendida vista. Se siete fortunati, potete persino vedere l'alba e la montagna dorata. L'hotel offre un servizio di trasferimento dall'aeroporto. Non è lontano dall'antica città di Shuhe. Xiaohui e i suoi colleghi sono molto proattivi ed entusiasti ❤️

Oriental aesthetics in every corner The guesthouse is converted from a century-old traditional Bai courtyard house. With its grey-tiled roofs, white walls, and beautifully carved wooden structures, the space carries a quiet sense of history and elegance. The courtyard features water elements, stone paths, and blue and yellow lanterns that create beautiful layers of light and shadow during the day. At night, the soft lighting outlines the architecture and gives the entire space a warm, cinematic atmosphere. The common areas are equally charming, with a stone-built fireplace, vintage furniture, and art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout. The design blends traditional Eastern aesthetics with modern touches, creating a space that feels both timeless and refined. Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. Cleanliness: room was slightly dusty. Spiders and insects in the room, but expected because it has many oriental decorations that require constant cleaning to prevent dust accummulation. Location: convenient, it’s of walking distance to the north gate, easy to stroll around to different parts of the ancient town. Service: I have never given a bad review for the service attitude of any accomodations which I’ve stayed at in China, but I honestly think that the service here is mediocre and more reactive than proactive. They fulfil the basics of bringing your luggage up to your room, giving directions to the laundry and breakfast areas and arranging for pick up from the station to the hotel for a stay of at least three consecutive nights. I cannot speak for all the service staff, but the service staff that mainly tended to me during the stay definitely needs to be improved. He was helpful when I needed help for the laundry setting. However, when I needed help with booking tickets to snow mountain (I’m a foreigner and do not have a local number), it was a rather frustrating experience. He shared that the booking of tickets to Yulong Snow Mountain can be done 3-4 days in advance, and he could help me when I arrive at the accommodations. When I arrived, it was 4 days in advance but he was rather nonchalent and did not manage to help me secure tickets for my intended date of visit and had to eventually rely on the tour group to help change dates. The night before the tour visit, I had to reach out on wechat to ask about when and where the meeting point is for the tour. Even after the tour, I even had to ask several times to pay for the tour tickets as he had helped me to secure the ticket to the glacier park cablecar eventually. I had already shared that I could not transfer money on wechat and could only do via scanning his wechat/alipay qr code or vice versa. I feel that given that you guys are located in Lijiang and located near to Jade Snow Mountain, you should have encountered other customers who need help with the booking and this shouldn’t have been such a stressful tour booking experience. Amenities: they have two all-in-1 washing machine and drying amenities which was rather helpful. In the original room which i had booked, the air con leaked at around 10pm+. I texted the service staff on wechat and another staff came 5-10minutes later to check. This staff said it’s normal for the air con to leak at times especially if it’s blocked. After checking, he offered to change rooms for me. He helped me to move my luggage to the new room. There was no form of apology by any of the staff on the day itself when the incident happened. It was only on the next day when I requested for check-out transportation services to the railway station for the following day, where the staff who mainly tended to be apologised for the aircon leakage and offered complimentary transport services to the railway station. I’ve stayed in many accomodations in Yunnan but this was the most disappointing stay thus far and I will definitely not be back again.
