This was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience. Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group. Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved: 1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements. 2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume. 3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold. 4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage. 5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming. 6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree) Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. Mingyue 的菜单及营业安排稍微有些混乱。我们原本计划某晚在那里用餐，后来才发现中餐只在特定日期和时段供应，导致我们需要临时另作安排。 2. 房间的隔音效果可以再加强一些，因为即使隔壁房客只是正常音量交谈，我们也能听得相当清楚。 3. 淋浴的水温不太稳定。虽然我们已经调到舒适温度，但水温偶尔还是会突然下降，变得非常冷。 4. 员工或许可以更主动及细心一些。我们第一天抵达房间时正好下雨，而下车的位置并没有遮雨处，因此我们在搬运行李时需要短暂淋雨。 5. 房内水果盘的新鲜度可以再提升。苹果和橙子的状态，相较于我们之前在大理及昆明入住的其他酒店，感觉没有那么新鲜。 6. 早餐选择方面可以再更加丰富一些。我也特别期待能有更多现做的新鲜排毒果汁或特色果汁。（类似Banyan Tree Bintan的安排） 尽管存在这些小问题，但整体入住体验依然非常优秀。度假村内的景色和环境真的非常漂亮，我们尤其喜欢可以喂鸭子和鱼儿的体验，让整个氛围变得格外轻松惬意，也非常适合家庭度假。未来有机会的话，我们一定还会想再次回来入住。

Ho trascorso un soggiorno davvero memorabile allo YUNDU e lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque cerchi un posto confortevole, accogliente e arredato con gusto a Lijiang. Nel complesso, l'esperienza è stata molto positiva, con un servizio eccellente, un design accogliente e tanti dettagli curati. Durante il mio tè pomeridiano, si è avvicinato silenziosamente e si è seduto accanto a me, un momento davvero toccante. Al momento del check-out, ho persino ricevuto delle calamite da frigo di Sanjin e una foto Polaroid, un gesto incredibilmente premuroso. La prima impressione è stata fantastica. Come parte del pacchetto, YUNDU ha organizzato il trasferimento dall'aeroporto di Lijiang a bordo di un veicolo elettrico pulito e confortevole. Il servizio era uno dei punti di forza di YUNDU. Il personale mi ha aiutato con i bagagli, mi ha fornito visite guidate delle camere e mi ha fatto il check-in regolarmente tramite WeChat. Quando ho accennato a un possibile disagio dovuto all'altitudine, mi hanno persino regalato una bombola di ossigeno. Il capo è stato gentile e mi ha aiutato volentieri a scattare foto con Sanjin. L'unica piccola lacuna è stata il servizio di maggiordomo. Ho scoperto chi fosse il mio maggiordomo solo l'ultima sera, e uno dei servizi inclusi era una visita con accompagnatore all'antica città di Baisha, che non è mai avvenuta: né io né il personale ce ne siamo ricordati finché non ho recensito il mio pacchetto su Trip.com. Detto questo, il mio maggiordomo è stato estremamente efficiente nell'organizzare il trasporto per il lago Lugu, con un coordinamento impeccabile e prezzi ragionevoli. L'intera struttura è arredata con gusto, accogliente e invitante. Il camino nella hall è un punto forte, perfetto per le serate invernali. Durante le mie prime due notti, ci sono state delle interruzioni di corrente. Anche se questo ha ritardato un po' il mio lavoro, la stanza è rimasta calda. Il lato positivo è stato l'assenza di inquinamento luminoso e la possibilità di ammirare un cielo stellato, che è diventato uno dei miei momenti preferiti del soggiorno. Consiglio vivamente YUNDU a chiunque cerchi una vista meravigliosa, un design curato, un servizio cordiale e un soggiorno confortevole ma conveniente a Lijiang. Se amate Lijiang, venite a Baisha. Lo chiamo il top di gamma degli Shangri-La per il relax assoluto. Soggiornare in questo hotel per un giorno ti garantirà divertimento anche senza uscire! Al check-in ti offrono un servizio fotografico in abiti tibetani, 30 minuti di scatti + 3 foto gratuite. Puoi scegliere tra il pascolo o la tua camera. Non devi cercare consigli, è super comodo. Il maggiordomo è sempre disponibile, la colazione, il tè pomeridiano e la zuppa dolce della buonanotte sono tutti organizzati, e ci sono anche simpatici animali con cui interagire! Non preoccuparti troppo per l'altitudine: l'hotel ti darà in anticipo consigli utili sul mal di montagna e sul meteo. Le camere hanno un generatore di ossigeno e un umidificatore. Sono rimasto colpito dall'attenzione ai dettagli.

Hotel altamente consigliato se si vuole essere nella città antica e non troppo lontano dalla strada principale. Il servizio di maggiordomo personalizzato con 小勇 è stato fantastico! Il gruppo WeChat è stato creato prima dell'arrivo e lui ci ha aiutato a organizzare il trasporto gratuito dalla stazione ferroviaria di Lijiang a 南门1号 dove è lì con il carrello per aiutarci con i bagagli poiché la strada nella città antica è dissestata. Super grato per l'ottimo servizio dove si è prodigato oltre l'orario di lavoro per soddisfare le nostre esigenze e anche per presentarci percorsi panoramici all'interno della città antica e consigliarci ristoranti e consigli per lo shopping nei dintorni. Ci ha anche aiutato a prenotare i biglietti per lo spettacolo 玉龙雪山 e 丽江千古情. Abbiamo tutti apprezzato l'interazione con gli animali in hotel. L'hotel ha un cane samoey meticcio dorato di oltre 1 anno di nome xixi che è amichevole e giocoso. 2 alpaca, uno marrone è maschio e uno bianco è femmina ed è più timido. 2 conigli e 2 pavoni. Ci sono anche lavatrici e asciugatrici per le tue esigenze di lavanderia. 2 postazioni di gioco. Palestra. Biblioteca. Tavolo da biliardo. Sale da tè. La sala KTV era bella! Anche la pausa tè e la colazione erano belle. Il flat white era legittimo.

I had a wonderful experience at vento hotel, the staffs was so friendly and accommodating always welcoming us with a smile and tries the best to attend to our requests. They even have sending off service by didi to locations within gu cheng and airport/railway station pick up service. Overall, I’m really more than satisfied with the experience here and would definitely recommend to my friends & family if they are planning to visit Li Jiang! Cheers.

Essendo di passaggio a Kunming, ho scelto un hotel della catena Marriott, relativamente conveniente e affidabile. La posizione di questo hotel è ottima. Ho guidato dall'aeroporto di Kunming e le condizioni stradali erano ottime e comode. L'hotel si trova in una zona trafficata e nei dintorni ci sono molti ristoranti e locali per il tempo libero. Ci sono molte vie dello shopping al piano inferiore e molti punti di registrazione per celebrità di Internet. L'hotel è nuovissimo, le camere sono molto pulite e i servizi sono buoni. Il personale della reception è molto entusiasta e professionale, il che è in linea con gli standard di servizio di un hotel a cinque stelle. La colazione è relativamente ricca e gli ingredienti sono molto puliti. Anche il servizio al ristorante è molto buono. Inoltre, all'ottavo piano dell'hotel sono presenti una palestra e un bar. L'unico inconveniente è che il parcheggio gratuito dell'hotel per gli ospiti si trova al quarto piano del parcheggio dall'altra parte della strada. È necessario trasportare i bagagli da soli, il che è un po' scomodo. Ma a questo prezzo, l'hotel può offrire un servizio e delle attrezzature così completi ed entusiasti. Sono molto soddisfatto. Questo hotel merita di essere consigliato.

Inutile dire che i servizi dell'hotel sono eccellenti e la sua posizione con vista sulla città è fantastica. Il servizio è impeccabile. Diverse persone sono state incaricate di ritirare i miei bagagli alla reception, trasportandoli su per le scale e poi lungo la faticosa salita. A causa dei miei impegni, mi sono stati offerti tre giorni di deposito bagagli gratuito. Il quarto giorno, fuori orario, ha preso in spalla la mia valigia da 71 cm, ha camminato per 15 minuti attraverso gran parte della Città Vecchia e l'ha consegnata gratuitamente a una pensione dall'altra parte della Città Vecchia di Lijiang. Questo servizio è stato commovente. La prossima volta che visiterò Lijiang, andrò sicuramente a trovare il signor Zhou per una chiacchierata a cuore aperto attorno al fuoco.

Comfort with thoughtful details Our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. A stone feature wall behind the bed, paired with soft bedding and warm lighting, created a subtle sense of “wild luxury” while still feeling cosy and relaxed. Opening the window reveals the courtyard view — waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the lanterns glow in the evening adds a special charm to the stay. Warm and attentive service From booking to check-out, the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Upon arrival, they introduced the history of the house and highlighted the design features of the property, and were happy to recommend nearby restaurants and local spots to explore. The afternoon tea was beautifully presented, with fresh fruit and delicate snacks — perfect for enjoying a slow afternoon in the courtyard. Breakfast included some local Bai-style flavours, simple yet delicious, and a lovely way to start the day. A peaceful location near the old town The guesthouse is tucked away in Zhongyin Village at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, about a 15-minute drive from Dali Ancient Town. It offers a quiet retreat away from the crowds while still being conveniently close to the main attractions. Surrounded by village life and forested hills, the air feels fresh and full of the scent of nature. More than just a place to stay, Mutian Time feels like a living piece of art. It brought a sense of calm and poetry to our trip to Dali. Cleanliness: room was slightly dusty. Spiders and insects in the room, but expected because it has many oriental decorations that require constant cleaning to prevent dust accummulation. Location: convenient, it’s of walking distance to the north gate, easy to stroll around to different parts of the ancient town. Service: I have never given a bad review for the service attitude of any accomodations which I’ve stayed at in China, but I honestly think that the service here is mediocre and more reactive than proactive. They fulfil the basics of bringing your luggage up to your room, giving directions to the laundry and breakfast areas and arranging for pick up from the station to the hotel for a stay of at least three consecutive nights. I cannot speak for all the service staff, but the service staff that mainly tended to me during the stay definitely needs to be improved. He was helpful when I needed help for the laundry setting. However, when I needed help with booking tickets to snow mountain (I’m a foreigner and do not have a local number), it was a rather frustrating experience. He shared that the booking of tickets to Yulong Snow Mountain can be done 3-4 days in advance, and he could help me when I arrive at the accommodations. When I arrived, it was 4 days in advance but he was rather nonchalent and did not manage to help me secure tickets for my intended date of visit and had to eventually rely on the tour group to help change dates. The night before the tour visit, I had to reach out on wechat to ask about when and where the meeting point is for the tour. Even after the tour, I even had to ask several times to pay for the tour tickets as he had helped me to secure the ticket to the glacier park cablecar eventually. I had already shared that I could not transfer money on wechat and could only do via scanning his wechat/alipay qr code or vice versa. I feel that given that you guys are located in Lijiang and located near to Jade Snow Mountain, you should have encountered other customers who need help with the booking and this shouldn’t have been such a stressful tour booking experience. Amenities: they have two all-in-1 washing machine and drying amenities which was rather helpful. In the original room which i had booked, the air con leaked at around 10pm+. I texted the service staff on wechat and another staff came 5-10minutes later to check. This staff said it’s normal for the air con to leak at times especially if it’s blocked. After checking, he offered to change rooms for me. He helped me to move my luggage to the new room. There was no form of apology by any of the staff on the day itself when the incident happened. It was only on the next day when I requested for check-out transportation services to the railway station for the following day, where the staff who mainly tended to be apologised for the aircon leakage and offered complimentary transport services to the railway station. I’ve stayed in many accomodations in Yunnan but this was the most disappointing stay thus far and I will definitely not be back again.
