Recently returned from a 4D3N stay in Penang. Check-in was quick and efficient, with a RM200 deposit required upon arrival. The lobby is relatively small and always bustling with guests coming and going. There is a convenience store located on the ground floor, and a popular Japanese restaurant just outside where people are constantly queuing, giving the hotel a lively atmosphere. The hotel offers valet service. However, the personnel stationed at the main entrance were unable to assist with even basic questions regarding directions and nearby places, which was disappointing. Reception was consistently busy throughout our stay. While service was efficient, the team appeared overwhelmed at times, resulting in little interaction or welcoming hospitality. Rooms are located up to Level 35, while the gym and pool are on Level 36. The gym is surprisingly well-equipped and was one of the highlights of the stay. With the large number of rooms in the building and only four elevators in operation, waiting times can be quite long, especially during peak periods such as check-in, check-out, and evenings. Security was one area that concerned me. Access to guest floors requires a room key card, but I noticed there were no CCTV cameras inside the elevators, along the guest room corridors, or in the stairwells. Personally, this affected my sense of security. The room itself was spacious and offered a beautiful sea view, which I thoroughly enjoyed. There was also a filtered water dispenser in the room, a feature I appreciated. Basic amenities were provided. On the downside, the water pressure in the bathroom remained weak throughout my stay, and there was a constant sewage smell coming from the bathroom. The room also did not have a telephone or safe deposit box. To contact reception, guests need to communicate via WhatsApp. There is also no room service available, though this did not affect me personally. Check-out was effortless. I simply returned the room keys and left for my morning flight without any room inspection delays. Would I visit Penang again? Absolutely. Would I stay at this hotel again? Probably not. While the room size, view, and facilities were good, the security concerns and bathroom issues would likely lead me to explore other accommodation options on my next visit.

All very good, receptionists are very friendly and helpful, we can even keep our luggage before we can check in because we arrived earlier and we can freely go find our lunch around the residence. Hist also very responsive, location is superb with many local food stall walking distance and easy to go everywhere. Bed and pillows also towels are very clean. We had nice stay here thanks to nexx

Onestamente, se non fosse stato per il problema del deposito bagagli l'ultimo giorno, avrei dato cinque stelle. L'hotel è nuovo di zecca, appena ristrutturato, e l'arredamento è davvero bello ed elegante. Le camere sono spaziose e il letto è enorme, si dorme benissimo. Il check-in è stato molto soddisfacente. Anche se la reception non parlava quasi per niente cinese, sono stati comunque abbastanza pazienti. Il primo giorno, pensavo già di lasciare una recensione a cinque stelle al momento del check-out, ma l'ultimo giorno è stato davvero spiacevole. C'era questa signora anziana, sulla quarantina o cinquantina, bassa e scura, che parlava qualche semplice parola di cinese, probabilmente responsabile del servizio di deposito bagagli. Il suo atteggiamento era pessimo. L'hotel aveva detto che il servizio di deposito bagagli era disponibile fino alle 23:00, ma questa anziana signora, in modo molto aggressivo, ha insistito più volte che i bagagli dovevano essere ritirati entro le 18:00. Questo ci ha costretti a correre all'hotel alle 18:00 per ritirarli e poi trascinarli al ristorante per cena. Dato che avevamo molti bagagli, è stato estremamente scomodo. It also has an exceptionally good night view from rooftop 42 level. Check in was easy, carpark is easy to navigate as well. However, there are several areas that could be improved: 1. Only one ceramic cup was provided, while the rest were plastic cups and plastic bowls. 2. A meat cutting knife was provided, but there was no small fruit knife. 3. The shower head was damaged, causing uneven water flow. 4. The iron was dirty and unusable for ironing clothes. 5. The sofa was too hard and not very comfortable. 6. The worst part was the lift waiting time — during peak hours, waiting for the lift could take 10–15 minutes.
