The staff were very helpful and welcoming upon arrival, always willing to assist with anything we needed. However, when we first entered our room, there was a very strong smell of paint. We were told it had just been painted, but the odor was so intense that staying there would likely have caused discomfort, so we requested a room change. They accommodated our request, although the only available option was a smaller unit. Another point worth noting is that Trip.com indicates the hotel accepts a cash deposit, but at check-in we were informed that only card payments were allowed, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the room had some constant noises throughout the day and night — I couldn’t identify the source, and they continued even with the air conditioning turned off. There is also a vending machine right at the hotel entrance, but it was not working properly. I inserted money and did not receive the products; however, the front desk staff promptly assisted me and helped resolve the situation, which I appreciated. Aside from these issues, the hotel offers good value for the price, and the location is excellent, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions.

We have a short stay and I really like how spacious the room is! It’s less than 10 min drive from Whistler and there’s a pool and a game room which we can spend some time with kids. Recommend!

I understand this is a budget hotel, but I wish it had been clearer that there would be no housekeeping at all during the stay—not even bed-making or basic cleaning. It felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel, although it’s marketed as a hotel. Unfortunately, I also had a strong allergic reaction to the bed, which made it really hard to sleep. The air conditioner was extremely loud, and even when turned off, there was still a constant noise coming from somewhere—possibly the ventilation system, but I couldn't tell for sure. There was also quite a bit of traffic noise from the nearby road (could be a highway). That said, the room was spacious and had a small table to work at, which was convenient. The kitchenette was clean and functional, and the bathroom was in good condition. The closet space was also good (note that I traveled by myself).

Il Motel Alpen è molto pulito e ben situato tra il Villaggio di radium Hot Springs e le fonti calde. Il canyon Sinclair è una bella vista a pochi passi di sopra la collina. La camera era piccola, ma aveva tutto ciò che doveva, tra cui AC per il clima non caratteristico, e tutta l'esperienza era molto lontana, con l'ufficio presso l'Apple Tree Inn lungo la strada. Purtroppo, non è venuto il servizio di manutenzione mentre uscivamo, quindi non abbiamo reso il caffè fresco per la seconda mattina, e l'energia è uscita due volte (per la notte e poi di nuovo al mattino) e non c'è alcuna fonte di energia di riserva. Questo è ovviamente nessuna colpa dell’hotel, ma sarebbe stato bello avere una sorgente luminosa di emergenza nella stanza.

Questa stanza era un po' scomoda, e quando volevamo cucinare, abbiamo trovato che solo uno dei quattro bruciatori di forno lavorava, rendendo difficile preparare i pasti. Durante il bagno abbiamo sentito anche un suono di allarme, che probabilmente indica che la pompa di calore ha bisogno di manutenzione. Oltre a queste questioni, tutto il resto era a posto e soddisfaceva le nostre aspettative.

Abbiamo avuto un buon soggiorno in questo appartamento. Era molto pulito, comodo, e aveva tutto quello che ci serviva. La posizione era eccellente, con molti ristoranti, caffè e negozi a piedi. È stato molto conveniente raggiungere il centro della città e molte attrazioni turistiche popolari. Abbiamo apprezzato in particolare l’arrivo precoce, che ha reso la nostra arrivo molto più facile. Grazie per la vostra ospitalità e per aver fornito un posto così bello per rimanere. Saremmo felici di rimanere qui di nuovo.

The facility is poorly maintained. There was visible mold throughout the unit, especially in the bathroom. The hair dryer didn’t work, the coffee maker was dirty, fridge wasn’t cooling well, no ice machine, there were insects around the room, and the place was noticeably dusty. My wife even started having an asthma attack due to the poor air quality. For $420 a night, I expected much better. Staff are very friendly though. And the location is great!
