My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

Nel complesso, il nostro soggiorno a Villa il Palagio è stato piacevole. L'appartamento di 50 mq che abbiamo prenotato era spazioso e confortevole. Anche se non è stata fornita la pulizia giornaliera, non è stato un grosso inconveniente, considerando che è più comune negli hotel a 4 stelle. La colazione offriva una discreta scelta, con deliziose torte e opzioni salate come prosciutto e formaggio. La posizione, sebbene a 40 minuti di auto da Firenze, offriva viste pittoresche sulla campagna, con comodi punti ristoro a 5 minuti di auto. Vale la pena notare che i servizi sono stati chiusi durante il nostro soggiorno a fine aprile, ma prevediamo che la piscina aprirà a maggio. Uno straordinario è stato l'addetto alla reception di lingua inglese, che ha contribuito all'esperienza complessivamente positiva.

We missed a flight and needed a day room to rest until we could fly back later to UK. This is so close to the airport and was quaint and comfortable. No frills but a clean bed to rest, just what we needed, thank you for the last minute availability.

We had such a lovely stay here! The service was excellent, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a huge variety of options. The cakes were a definite highlight for us. The hotel itself was so peaceful, the location was great, and the pool was both amazing and incredibly relaxing

Hotel “Old style” con spazio pulito e ok. Solo perfetto per fermarsi se si è ad esempio a volo precoce. Bello colazione. Conosci solo una persona che ha parlato inglese. Forse siroautomati differenziati all’inizio della stagione.

La stanza era immacolata. Uno spazio tranquillo vicino alle fonti calde della mila. Il pranzo era anche fantastico al ristorante. Solo un peccato commento sarebbe stato che le mutandine erano dure... Tutto il resto era perfetto.

La Cascina è molto carina anche se in una posizione un po’ penalizzante per via della strada molto stretta. Le camere ampie, ben arredate in stile antico, un bel giardino, ottimo parcheggio, bagno ampio e ben dotato, tv un po’ piccola x la distanza dal letto. La colazione potrebbe essere un po’ più varia e curata per ottenere il massimo del punteggio. Personale gentile

Il migliore dirà a Firenze. Un villaggio naturale gestito da una famiglia. Bella casa e bellezza. Lo amato! 100% consigliato. La colazione è fantastica.

Grande posizione nel campo proprio fuori da Pisa. Mi piace essere lontano ma si trova a soli 10 minuti dal centro di Pisa. 20 minuti da Lucca. Bella casa aziendale rinnovata con un incredibile cuoco e famiglia correre Bed and Breakfast. Molto relax.Saluta Jerry il cane e getta il suo giocattolo ancora una volta per me!
