We’ve stayed in many hotels and apartments around the world, from tiny rooms to beautiful villas, and this was honestly our first experience like this. We arrived around 2:30 PM, right after check-in time. There is no elevator, but that’s completely understandable for an old Venetian building. We carried our luggage to the third floor, and while my wife was speaking with the host, we suddenly found out that the bathroom was shared with another room. This was a huge surprise for us because on Trip.com the booking clearly mentioned private facilities in the room and a shower. Only later did we realize that the bathroom was actually outside the room and shared between two rooms, with separate keys for the wooden bathroom door. The bathroom itself was clean and decent, but for us this completely changed the experience. We have never stayed in a place with a shared bathroom before, and finding this out only at check-in was very disappointing. Another frustrating point was the check-out policy. Check-out was at 10:00 AM, which we already knew from the booking, but honestly this was only the second time in my life I’ve seen such an early check-out time — and I’ve probably booked more than 200 hotels. I think the only earlier one I ever had was 9:30 AM. I genuinely do not understand why there needs to be a 4-hour gap between check-out and check-in for cleaning a room that does not even have a private bathroom. On top of that, the host said it was impossible to leave luggage after check-out because she had “negative experiences” before. So after an already disappointing stay, this just added another layer of inconvenience. Other downsides: * terrible pillows — sleeping felt like your head was at a 90-degree angle; * extremely poor sound insulation, you can hear literally every movement from other guests; * in the shower there was nothing except hand soap near the sink — no shampoo, no conditioner, no basic amenities. Positive points: * very good location; * the room itself was clean; * coffee was available in the room. Unfortunately, the bathroom situation completely overshadowed all the positives for us. Because of that, I would rate this place 2/5.

La posizione è ideale, si arriva rapidamente camminando dall'autobus dell'aeroporto e da ogni lato camminando. Ci sono bar intorno e è una zona tranquilla. Quello che potrebbe migliorare sono le istruzioni di check-in, perché ho contattato con un po' di anticipo l'app per fare il check-in e ho avuto problemi al momento di arrivare. La cosa buona è che rispondano e risolvo rapidamente, devo sottolinearlo. La vista dalla nostra stanza era bella, dava un piccolo patio.

We found the location quite easily. It’s conveniently situated within a comfortable walking distance from the bus stop where the airport buses arrive, which was a big plus after traveling. The administrator was very welcoming — we would especially like to thank her for the warm reception. We arrived before check-in time and were able to leave our bags, which was very convenient. When we returned at the scheduled time, we were able to access our room without any issues. During our stay, renovation works started in a neighboring apartment (apparently upstairs). Because of this, there was a bit less natural light in our room, and we could hear construction noise in the mornings, which started quite early. It turned out that the host was not aware that the work would begin so early either. We would like to especially highlight how the situation was handled. The host personally spoke with us, apologized, and managed to arrange for the work to start later. It was clear that our comfort truly mattered. For us, the situation was completely resolved. The room itself met our expectations. It was spacious — not one of those layouts where you walk straight into the bed with the bathroom door right there. The room was warm thanks to central heating. The water pressure was excellent, and the bathroom was simple but cozy. There was no breakfast option during our stay, but that did not significantly affect our overall experience. We had a pleasant stay and are grateful for the hospitality. It is clear that guest comfort is a priority here — if you experience any issues or need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask.

We arrived at the hotel on January 12th at 10:30 PM. The room was absolutely amazing and split over two levels. On the ground floor there was a bathroom and a separate shower. Everything was very beautiful, clean, and in perfect working condition. The shower did not leak at all, and there were no unpleasant smells. On the upper floor there was a bedroom with a large bed and an additional sofa. The room was equipped with a large Smart TV, a spacious wardrobe, a safe, and a hairdryer. We were also provided with two 0.5 L bottles of water. There was both a heater and air conditioning, and everything worked perfectly, so it was not cold at all. The location is excellent. It may look a bit confusing on the map at first, but we figured it out quickly. When you see the shop “Ca’ Macana Atelier”, turn immediately to the right. You will see an old public telephone, and between the buildings there is the hotel entrance (the hotel name is written on the door). All access codes worked without any problems. The interior of the hotel is very beautiful. The owner is a very kind and welcoming lady truly wonderful. She speaks English and cleans the rooms daily. If you prefer not to have your room cleaned, you can simply inform her or hang the sign on the door. The tourist tax is €3 per person per day. We absolutely loved everything. Out of all the places we have stayed in (priced between €20 and €60 per night), this hotel and room are without a doubt our number one favorite. Thank you so much. If we ever return to Venice, we will definitely stay here again. ❤️

We all absolutely lived it! The first impression is the super friendly staff. You have to climb quite some steps to reach the room (ard one floor of stairs? Not recommend if you have a lot of luggages) however the staff ran out and helped us to move most of the luggage's to our room. The check in time is actually quite flexible since we arrived at 1230 and the staff still allowed us to check in. The room is very spacious with clean toilets and bathroom, there are Shampoo and body washing separated and some to spare (since we ordered an extra bed in a double room) We are also very surprised about the extra bed because it is not an ordinary expandable sofa bed, but a normal bed. Apart from the nicest service we have ever received, the breakfast is also a highlight. There are tons of choices (sweets like milk pudding, croissant, fruits, normal breakfast like ham and bread) and you can order some specials from the menu. We did try their scrambled eggs and smoked salmon salad, absolutely spot on! It has to be the best breakfast I've ever had from hotel! The location of the hotel is very close to the train station, but quite some walk to piazza San Marco (ard 20 min if you didn't get lost) The hotel provide us a map so that we can find places easier, and turns out we did use this map way more than google map (Google map gets really inaccurate on the island), one service we like a lot again. Overall it's a very pleasant experience and we like the hotel very much! Definitely recommend!

Location is easy to get to and right on the Grand Canal. Perfect for exploring the beauty of Venice. Service was generally helpful. Staff could have explained some elements in the room better. The room itself was disappointing. Very old fashioned and in need of major decoration. The first night only a sheet was provided and we were cold and did not sleep well. This was rectified for the second night. Our room faced a courtyard and was quiet, but quite dark. Overall disappointing for the price

Siamo stati qui per 2 notti durante un viaggio di coppia. La stanza bianca era molto pulita e non c'erano rifiuti o oggetti lasciati dagli ospiti precedenti. Sono forniti tutti i prodotti da bagno, quindi non avrai problemi a soggiornare per un breve periodo di tempo. L'acqua calda nella doccia era buona e non si raffreddava rapidamente, quindi mi sono divertito molto anche se sono abituato alle docce giapponesi. Anche se non abbiamo incontrato molti membri dello staff, la donna alla reception è stata molto gentile e ci ha dato spiegazioni facili da capire anche se non parlavamo molto bene l'inglese! La posizione dell'hotel è un po' scomoda e, a meno che non utilizziate i vaporetti o le gondole, dovrete camminare un bel po' per arrivare ovunque. In particolare, Piazza San Marco, la principale meta turistica, era lontana e gli adulti impiegavano circa 30 minuti per arrivarci. Tuttavia, ci sono molti negozi lungo la strada, quindi se hai molto tempo durante il tuo viaggio, non credo che sarà un problema. Inoltre, ci sono molti ristoranti e bar intorno all'hotel, e c'era anche una panetteria e un negozio di crêpe a circa 3 minuti a piedi. Non dovrai preoccuparti del cibo, quindi ti consigliamo di passeggiare senza fare colazione. A proposito, c'è una cabina della polizia davanti all'hotel? Stazione di polizia? C'è qualcosa del genere e persone che sembrano poliziotti lo sorvegliano giorno e notte, quindi anche se è lontano dalla zona principale, la sicurezza non è male. Considerando il costo totale, è stato un soggiorno molto soddisfacente!

La camera era piuttosto spaziosa e silenziosa, con un servizio eccellente e una pulizia giornaliera. La posizione è eccellente, a pochi passi da attrazioni come il Colosseo e Piazza Giulietta. Anche la ristorazione è molto comoda, con diversi ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Anche la stazione ferroviaria è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi e anche i mezzi pubblici sono molto comodi.

Piccolo hotel in un palazzo storico del ‘300, in posizione strategica a metà strada tra la stazione e S.Marco. Le scale e la reception sono anguste, ma la sala comune per la colazione e la stanza sono spaziose a sufficienza. La terrazza con vista sui tetti di Venezia è meravigliosa: Ideale per prendersi un momento di relax, anche se bisogna fare attenziona a non picchiare la testa per arrivarci! La colazione è buona e molto varia, la stanza e il bagno pulitissimi e il letto comodo ma le pareti sono molto sottili: la sera si sentono i vicini di stanza parlare o… fare altro. La reception non è disponibile h24, meglio chiamare in anticipo se si effettua il check in a tarda ora. Il personale è molto gentile ed educato, ben informati sulla città, le sue attrazioni e i collegamenti. La prima sera la maniglia della porta mi è rimasta in mano e sebbene abbia informato la reception, al mio check out due giorni dopo non era stata ancora sistemata. Un piccolo inconveniente che non ha influito sul mio giudizio positivo.
