Hotel a 2 stelle in Sicilia, Italia

I visited on a solo trip where I was going to both San' Angelo Muxaro and San Biagio Platani (the location is great if you are visiting either commune). This was a short distance to both towns, and had a beautiful view of the valley. I drove and parked here- coming from Palermo. The owners were very kind and helpful with some questions I had about driving in the area, and were able to accommodate me when I unexpectedly arrived early. They cooked a lovely dinner, and prepared breakfast for me early in the morning before my drive back. It was peaceful and quiet, and I just really enjoyed looking out my room into the beautiful green valley. Ho visitato questo posto durante un viaggio da sola, con destinazione sia San' Angelo Muxaro che San Biagio Platani (La posizione è eccellente se si visita uno di questi comuni.). Era a breve distanza da entrambi i paesi e offriva una splendida vista sulla valle. Ho guidato e parcheggiato qui, venendo da Palermo. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili e disponibili a rispondere ad alcune mie domande sulla guida in zona, e sono stati in grado di ospitarmi quando sono arrivato inaspettatamente in anticipo. Mi hanno preparato una cena deliziosa e la colazione la mattina presto, prima del mio ritorno. Era un posto tranquillo e silenzioso, e mi è piaciuto molto ammirare la splendida valle verde dalla mia camera.

Sono arrivato nelle stanze, ma la mia internet non funzionava, quindi ho dovuto chiedere alla bella PLP nel caffè sotto per telefonare al proprietario. La stanza è in un blocco di appartamenti, così centrale a tutto, controlla il mercato il sabato, puoi vederlo attraverso la finestra. Quando sono arrivato, era piuttosto freddo e tempesta, ho chiesto un riscaldamento e è arrivato subito.L’appartamento ha un caffè e un tè nella zona principale cucina/divorzio. Il buon valore e la migliore posizione, vicino a tutto,può essere un po' rumoroso alla notte, come è in una bussola/quadrata occupata. Negozi e stazioni di treno in tutta la vicinanza e camminare. Molto consigliata! Le foto sono da vista dalla finestra, come vedete, erano nel mezzo della costruzione della piazza.

Great location! 1 min walking to Piazza di Duomo. Lots of mini-markets and restaurants within 1 min to the hotel. Tourist buses are within 3 min walking as well as the main street of the city. Excellent owner! Very kind and helpful! Safe entrance and secure hotel. From minuses: Single room had a noise from a big air conditioning unit of the neighboring restaurant. Bed has hard mattress. Single Room has no window. window for single room is only in the bathroom facing the courtyard with aircon unit. So, you have to use air conditioning in the room to keep it fresh. Everything is working well in the room. It is clean in general. Good combination of price and quality.

Location surrounding is crap. I went by navigator with a suitcase from central railway station about 15 min because the roads are not for suitcases, cracked pavement everywhere. It’s better to take a car or tram 1 for 2 stops from railway. It’s really apartment in a crap residential building. 3rd floor (like 4tth) without a lift with narrow stairs with no lighting in the evening. You don’t see where insert 3 keys in locks (3doors to enter). My room faced the noisy busy road. There 2 rooms inside, looks nice, no microwave, but clean. Area looks dangerous in the evening. Owner lady is nice and helpful. She tries to do her best!

Uno dei soggiorni più piacevoli durante il nostro viaggio di 12 giorni in giro per la Sicilia. Dopo l'atterraggio all'aeroporto di Catania, abbiamo guidato fino alla Dimora Cottanera, arrivando dopo il tramonto. Siamo stati qui per tre notti e non ci siamo annoiati. Ambiente eccellente, splendide viste, buoni servizi, acqua calda bella e forte, letti molto comodi, colazione molto buona. La piscina a sfioro era troppo fredda a novembre, ma ci siamo goduti la sauna e la vasca all'aperto. Ringraziamo Serena che è stata davvero gentile e disponibile. Ha organizzato la nostra gita sull'Etna e la degustazione di vini.

Le strutture erano buone e l'ostello ha fornito frigo, forniture e utensili da cucina. La maggior parte del tempo la stanza e i bagni erano puliti. Ognuno di loro aveva un grande serbatoio. È possibile utilizzare la lavatrice per 4 euro e appendere i vestiti sul balcone. Un problema importante è stato l'isolamento acustico. Le finestre non potevano essere completamente chiuse e la stanza era di fronte a una strada occupata. Era particolarmente occupato durante i fine settimana, perché le auto e le moto possono riprodurre musica quando guidavano tardi.

Lady on the desk was very nice although we were charged $24 Aud per night extra for a cleaning fee that was not disclosed when we booked. We had no idea why we were charged this fee upon arrival. They should be more transparent with the costs. Although we paid for breakfast it was not available as the cafe they used was closed for the holidays & we were not offered any alternative so more money wasted.

LOL Hostel is located close to the Siracuse train station. Just 2 minutes'walk! It is extremely convenient if you go there by train. There are lots if seating areas in the reception area. You can watch TV and surf Internet there. There is also a bar and an open kitchen with a fridge. There is also an outdoor seating area. The bedroom is clean and quiet. I had a good sleep there.

Molto ben situato con fermata autobus vicino, ma pensate di precisare che è in una residenza, con portale perché non c'è alcuna indicazione con il nome dell'hotel davanti al portale. Molto buon colazione diversificato, distributore d'acqua minerale o gassosa gratuita La camera da letto di lusso donna sarebbe perfetta se i letti avessero tende per più intimità e lavanderia mani nella bagno.
